We visited this hotel during our vacation as a part of our return trip from France to Denmark. This was a really bad experience in many ways. First of all we had ordered two non-smoking rooms, but one of our rooms smelled so much of smoke that my oldest son wanted to leave and sleep in the other room. Secondly the pillows was super bad. Thirdly the breakfast was commented as being a positive experience on booking.com - I have no idea where that comes from. Everything was bad even the coffee was without any taste at all. Be aware that the rooms have no aircons and since it was quite hot it made the experience even worse. We will probably not return to this hotel.
I needed a hotel close to FRA after arriving from Riga late afternoon and enroute next day to Philadelphia. I called the hotel from the designated pick-up point and the shuttle was there within 15 minutes. The room was spacious, the wifi spot on, the thunderstorms spectacular and breakfast fitted the bill next morning. I happily paid 5 euro to get me back to FRA in the shuttle to catch my morning flight to the US. All good.
After being stranded in Frankfurt airport I ended up in this hotel, closely located to the airport. So far the good news. The room looked like it came straight out of the seventies, it probably also did. Soft pillow, no airco, very warm in the room, opening the windows was possible but then you had to live with the sound of some kind of installation underneath the window, unpleasant smell (probably cigarettes).... Even for 70 EUR/night this was quite poor. Something to quickly forget.
This hotel is about 20 minutes drive from the Frankfurt airport. A very convenient location just to have a rest before continuing wandering the Europe. Very clean and friendly atmosphere. The town is little and clean as the hotel inside. Great place to visit.
Good hotel close to airport without airport prices. Located in a close by burg, clean, quiet and a gray breakfast included with the room. Have it included . Free pick up and drop off every 30 mins. Look for the red van.
This was the only human priced hotel around Frankfurt airport. So I decided to get a try. Only few kilometer from the airport, it is located in the center of the town. Building is from an unclear time of last century. Not bad, but with a strange mix of traditional and modern, only not so well combined. At the reception they are passably multilingual, and friendly. The room was a surprise, a single the size of a mini flat. Taste not exactly mine but out of the standard hotels that you find around. Restaurant in the hotel was average, staff friendly. Breakfast again in a mix of styles that let me again perplex. As place, in good position, with shuttle service to the airport, and all what is necessary. But I couldn't get any feeling to make me love the stay..
I need an economical option for an unexpected overnight at Frankfurt Airport. This hotel fit the bill. It was modest but clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillow as mentioned in some of the other reviews was definitely lacking, but I wasn't in the mood to complain. I'm sure I could have gotten another one if I had asked. The shower was great with consistent hot water, excellent water pressure and adjustable-height so a tall person could have a really great shower. The restaurant with adequate for dinner, decent German food reasonably priced. I also found the included breakfast quite satisfying with variety to suit most tastes. Service was cheerful and the free airport shuttle was most appreciated. The TV was definitely outdated, but that was a non-issue for me as I didn't use it, and the WiFi worked just fine for me.
A truly disappointing experience! Firstly, the bed in my room had either not been cleaned to a high standard or not cleaned whatsoever since the last guest stayed there. How did I know this?!....well the white bed sheets included curly pubic hairs and other long dark hairs inside it. Oh and a tube of tooth paste had been left behind. I did complain about this but as I only came to stay at this hotel due to sudden illness I had no energy to fight with staff for another "cleaned" room! So, I slept on the clean side of the double bed!! Other let downs were a shower that went from freezing cold to boiling hot whereby I burnt my skin. The shower curtain provided in the bathroom was not big enough to cover the length of the bath and protect the bathroom from water overspills. This meant I had to stand in a very restricted space just to keep the bathroom from flooding. My other criticism was the pillow provided was pathetic and did not offer any support. Thankfully reception did get me another one of those even if they didn't change my actual room! And finally, the WIFI was none existent. Yes - I did complain but I was told I could use the lobby area instead. The main reason I booked this room was because I required WIFI service in my actual room. When I checked out I was feeling less ill so complained further about all of the problems but the receptionist was not that interested. Worst still I have just made a complaint about the whole experience to BOOKING.com and didn't even receive a personal call or apology from the actual hotel manager. Let alone any compensation! All in all this hotel is one to be avoided. The attitude of the staff, condition of the room I stayed in was pathetic and although I originally was to rate this hotel "POOR" I am now demoting it to "TERRIBLE" purely due to the fact that the hotel manager is clearly too arrogant and disinterested to get in touch and offer some token apology for my horrible stay. I have been visiting the Frankfurt area for years and can only strongly suggest that any visitors avoid this horrible hotel ! There are much better ones in the area which will provide you a much nicer stay. I sincerely hope this hell-hole closes down or has a top to toe refurbishment!
€130 for 40 year old tv & the saggiest bed. This is what they gave me as an upgrade. I paid 41€ for the taxi ride from the central train station. I have a view of the Post ww 2 industrialization. Serious I have a view of the steel mill. I'm from Pittsburgh so it looks familiar, the tv does have CNN but no sound & their is actual snow to remind you of the 70's. I am posting this before I am even going to try & fall asleep,
I stayed thre two times. I enjoyed the Airport pick free of charge and to the Airport only 5 Euro. Thanks the driver! The receptionist is not a receptionist they advise or give counsling service weather i need any help. 24 hour ready per problem in my room! Thanks both the check in and check out staffs! The Bath room water of the rooms in the first floor is not warm as you needed to wash!!!! It takes time 6 hours for me to be warm....... I hope to vist them agian!
