An average hotel for in transit stays. Rooms and bathrooms are quite small and good for one night sleep only. Staff is friendly and best part is the close proximity with the airport. Rooms are clean but they charge extra for almost everything.

First time in Germany to attend company event. Book Conference in their Book Fair. This small hotel offers you an independent life. I can wake up 3am to cook food on my own because they have a kitchen that you can use to do your meal. Room with high ceiling is good in this type of small room. I will suggest this to those who are always on the go because they have services that will make your life easy. like food to bring if ever you cant eat breakfast or lunch in the hotel. they will make it for you. Easy access too to alot of establishment.

Hotel is by the expo in a convenient location. It's one of those city / hipster hotels trying to make the most out of it. All was great, besides not having available parking and really poor breakfast buffet. The only "warm" thing were lukewarm boiled eggs. Else for 10 Euros one can eat better at a gas station.

On my first arrival on the hotel even if my reservation started from the morning the reception said i vould get the room at 1500 pm even with comfermation email that they couldnt find in their computer while they could find only the payment done The successive evening after one long day work around 2000 pm i came back to the hotel and my magnetic key didnt work so i went to the lobby and almost 20 people were ck in at the hotel with a long waiting at list of 1 hrs and 20 minutes before i got the magnetic key replacement and going back to the room u find out that the key still didnt open the door so after other complaining finally somebody arrived and opened thus door so time elapsed was 1 hrs and 40 minutes before i went inside the hotel room the receptionist were unable to perform any customer care treating me with absolutely no respect and no dignity I asked if was possible to speak with the general manager of the hotel in shift and the staff refused to get me in contact with him saying that was too late (20:00) The next morning at ck out i had early breakfast at 0600 am and while we (me and other few people) were having breakfast two ladies for cleaning department washed the floor on the same time we were there standing Annoing all the customers at the point that we we had to leave All this beaviours regarding this hotel is Well below any standard of any hotel that i been visiting all over the world Arrivato in hotel verso le 1000 benche avessi una prenotazione x le 1000 la reception diceva di non trovare la mail di conferma ma stranamente solo il pagamento e per quanto io mostrassi loro la mail di conferma a loro nn gli e interessato niente e ho avuto poi la stanza nel pomeriggio La sera successiva mi si era smagnetizzata la chiave e rientrando in hotel dopo 12 ore di lavoro pesante e avendo la mattina successiva la sveglia alle 0500 di mattina volevo rilassarmi ma andando in reception per averla sostituita in un attimo davanti a circa 20 persone che facevano il ck in il receptionist non mi ridava subito un altra chiave ma ho dovuto fare la fila di circa un 1 ora e 20 minuti x riavere la chiave e per scoprire dopo salendo che non apriva ancora e quindi poi dopo svariati solleciti finalmente dopo 1 ora e 40 minuti riuscivo an entrare in stanza La mattina successiva verso lw 0530 mentre facevo colazione assieme ad altri clienti ...due delle pulizie ....sono venuti a scopare e a lavare per terra ...passando letteralmente in mezzo alle nostre gambe Ci siamo alzati e ce ne siamo andati e spero per sempre da un posto cosi dopi aver pagato centinaia di euro

The title says it all. This was the second time I visited the hostel, but this time it was awful. The bathroom was smelling of cigarettes and when I mentioned this to the reception, I was told they'd sent someone around to spray something. However, this was no help, as if the smell had 'sponged' in - no matter how much you'd air it or spray, it wouldn't help. I will never visit Meininger again.

we stayed here for one night, as we were making a quick business trip to Frankfurt. The hotel is very basic, which is ok for a typical airport hotel - still from my experience, for the price you pay they could do better. The room is super small, bathroom as well. Also I cannot really call it cosy.. But the worst was the bed, it was super uncomfortable and I ended up next morning with pain in my back, and did not feel rested - my colleague said the same. The breakfast was quite good, also the lobby and the bar. Wifi worked well., as well as the staff were nice and efficient, so I give 3 stars. But the room is really like a hostel and does not attend to its price, there are many better options around the airport.

I think the hotel is very well located for Messe visitors but all in all that is the only positive comment I can make.. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is even smaller! I can’t say it’s s dirty hotel but it also didn’t gave me a clean feeling.. I would skip the breakfast as for 10 EUR there are much better alternatives around.

Brought my family to Frankfurt to visit the famous Christmas markets. Booked the Meininger as a good value option which also received good reviews. Hotel is spotless clean, facilities are good, rooms are small. Breakfast buffet was €9 didn;t have it, lots of cheaper options in Frankfurt. I sent two emails to the hotel with queries in the weeks approaching the trip, no reply. I'd class the male bar staff as curt bordering on downright unfriendly. Not impressed with them at all, no smiles just short answers to questions, I was ignored twice when I asked a question, it felt almost a chore for them to do anything. For this reason myself and my wife went to a different hotel for a drink in the evenings. There is also no draft beer and a very limited choice of spirits. There is only snack pizzas available in the evenings for food. Apart form that, good budget option, location a bit out from the city centre and the markets but plenty of taxis, trams buses and trains. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel room is quite small but you spend most of the time out exploring. It's like a Hyatt Place set up. The room is clean. They have a variety of room type which is great, they even have a bunk bed. The hotel is near the train station and basically you can hear them 24/7. 2 minutes walk from the hotel to the train station. They have a breakfast buffet which is all you need to start your day, around Euro-9++ per person. Paid Euro 170 for two days, breakfast is separate and they will ask you when you check in. Overall, great stay exploring Frankfurt. It's about 10-15 minutes from Frankfurt airport and around 30-40 Euro from the airport to the hotel depending on the traffic.

My parents and I had a wonderful stay at the Meininger Hotel. It was simple, quaint, nice staff. Everything was simple and the location was next to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend it.
