A very nice, clean, quiet and cosy hotel in a lively area of Frankfurt. The personel is always friendly and tries to fulfill all wishes. The hotel is close to a subway station. Late arrival is well organised.
Hotel was in a good location, its very near the U bahn station and within walking distance of the history museum which was great! The room was nicely designed and it was spacious! The staff there were friendly and helpful! Overall a good experience!
The hotel is close to the tube station "Bockenheimer Warte" and that just two stops from the main station. My room was out to the front and if you're easily disturbed at night I'd recommend bringing ear plugs. The breakfast room was right near my room but I couldn't hear a thing from there.
This hotel was exactly what we needed after a long flight with 2 boys under 3. We were checked in early, had a cot for my youngest already set up in the room (corresponded via email before arriving), room was clean, free wifi, parking and an amazing breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
Lovely people running the hotel. You couldn't fault their service and attention. Their recommendations for restaurants etc were spot on. Breakfast was good and it had a reasonable variety. Unfortunately the hotel is in need of some refurbishment. We only stayed overnight in the hotel but it happened to be very hot in Frankfurt so this accentuated the lack of air conditioning in the hotel. The hotel is close to many attractions and parks and for the four of us it cost 35 Euros to get to the hotel from the airport. My rating on this hotel is more about the service than the quality of the hotel.
I wanted a hotel close to the Palmengarten, a beautiful botanical garden in Frankfurt, and I am so glad I picked this hotel. It was easy to get there from the Frankfurt airport, two short train rides followed by a short walk to the hotel. They graciously accommodated my early arrival and gave great advice on how to get around. I would stay here again.
Well located. However coming from Australia, where we are used to air conditioning it was quite hot and we were not able to open windows for security reasons. The hotel was not air conditioned. There were not even fans. I know this is quite common in Europe and I wish it was not. There was a hot water jug for making tea and coffee but a poor choice and quantity of sachets and no milk in the room. Another annoying feature is the minibar common to most hotels here which most people avoid because of the excessive prices and it results in little space for anything guests might want to put in the refrigerator.
I stayed here with two friends for three nights during our post-graduation Europe trip. I've stayed in Frankfurt many times and used to live there, and was happy to be back, especially in this particular neighbourhood. The hotel is well located, next to or near to a number of U-Bahn stops (about a five-ish minute ride to Hauptwache). We stayed in one of the rooms in the back, where it was quiet and comfortable. However, we requested a rollaway bed for the third person, but this was apparently forgotten upon check-in. They relocated us to that back room without a problem (originally we were in a smaller room on the first floor). The couch they made up as the rollaway bed was rather uncomfortable, but nothing horrendous. Overall, it was a nice stay with a nice breakfast. I would definitely consider staying here again when I return!
We stayed overnight before commencing a tour. The staff were polite and helpful. The location of the hotel is its main attraction, being within a short walk of the U4 station which was, for us, a short direct route to Römerberg, the primary attraction of the inner city. There are also many food shops, a market and cafes nearby. Overall, our experience of this hotel was positive.
We stayed in this hotel for one night only. But it was really nice. The beds were comfy, the rooms were spacious (we had one double and one single room) and well equipped (the double room even had a water kettle to prepare some free coffee and tea). The location is awesome as Bockenheimer Warte is also a spot that two underground services cater - not to mention the buses etc. When taking the underground it is only 2 stops to the main train station and approx. 5 stops to "Römerberg" with its famous city hall. Another good service: the breakfast. Yum German breakfast that offers almost everything you need. And if you are getting there by car and are lucky enough you can park the car there for free. Wifi is free too, you just need a password and login which the friendly staff provide. All in all: a good place to stay! PS: Please be aware that there seems to be no lift. So if you cant climb staircases that me be a minus point regarding the choice of this hotel.
