My brother and I stayed at this hotel in december 2016. We payed for 5 nights. After the first night my brother woke up with bites all over his body. We then found small bugs (most likely bed bugs) and discovered that our whole room was filthy. We did not have time to check the room before. Food under the beds and very dusty. When we went to complain to the manager, he blamed us for the bugs, even though there are many reviews that are similar to mine. They refused to give me a full refund and since i was on vacation, i did not have time to take them to court. There are many hotels on the same street that are much cleaner with better service. We ended up stayeing at the hotel Muenchener just a few steps down the street. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY! I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many hotels and this was by far the worst and dirtiest hotel ive ever stayed in. If any of you have any questions, or would like to see pictures of the bugs in the room, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
You cannot find any noisier place on earth than the rooms of this hotel. All day and night you have the luxury of hearing people shouting, buses accelerating, cars horning, and trams ringing the bell. So please go ahead with booking a room from this hotel and have fun!!! WARNING: Earplugs Do Not Help!
a) general aspect:run down b) Room: very smelly, faucet disconnected from sink, shower stall semi disassembled, curtain stained with drops of something, c) comfort: extremely noisy from external sounds coming from the street until 4.am circa d) breakfast: included but I did not have the guts to try it.
the room is quite small, but what could I expect from its affordable cheap hotel? the keys are very manual, there are no automatic swiping card, it's all about key. but still it was satisfying, considering the location which was really near to hbf. the wifi is also good the staff was good to us :) the most exciting part was the hotel is just in front of a halal turkish restaurant(Nefis Kebap House)!!!! and beside the hotel there is a Malaysian restaurant (I'm a Malaysian Muslim so I got really exicted of the location xD)
We went there and at the main entry was stinky and the bedrooms were dirty and stinky and in the bathrooms were cockroaches. Real bad attention. We move to an hotel besides called the Frankfurt and there was amaizing
A nice little hotel with small but low-cost rooms, friendly staff and included breakfast. We didn't pay much for the room so we were gladly surprised - the room was clean and everything worked well. Only minus was the lack of a table fan in the room when it was 36 celcius outside. The hotel is located right across the Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station) and about 1,5 kilometres from the city centre and the most famous shopping street Zeil. What you should know, is that in this area you are going to run to drug-addicts and homeless people all the time.
The worst hotel ever. It stinkt from the beginning. The rooms where to small and stinky. The towels where not well washed so wehere the sheets. There where dirty spots on the floor.the toilete was so small and stinky. Kein minibar pffff minibar that is maybe luxury!!!!!! It was to rumors to rest in and if not for resting for what is an hotel needed.??!! I can not describe the floors .... it was like in an horror film. Should be said that the staff was courteous. Yes it is near the main train station but plese do not chose these hotel there are plenty of otheres for the same price hier near.
What do you expect, to pay bottom buck prices and get the Ritz? Get a life! This hotel shares the same area in Frankfurt as all the 4/5* hotels.Used this hotel during a Messe exhibition so we weren't ripped off by the major chains. Service on reception was couteous and polite, informative and friendly, what more do you need. 4 of us lads shared a room, enough for a shower and bed, what else do you need? Location top class, opposite train station and on all tram routes, walk into town in 15 minutes. Local bar excellent, Irish pub across road with warm atmosphere and good company. Messe is 25 minute pleasant walk or a short tram ride. Local restaurants excellent. Room was adequate but I wouldn't take your wife there, not enough mirrors..... Local hospitality excellent too ;-)
Five of us (toon fans) stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Newcastle United's midweek game against Eintracht Frankfurt. Arriving at the Hauptbahnhof railway station you leave by the main entrance and across the main road is the all to familiar Irish bar and then across the side street is hotel union which apart from that bar and several others close by not a bad location!! The hotel was cheap and chearfull and did what five lads required. We were on the sixth floor which is accesed by a slow lift which would only carry four of the slimmer lads on this trip! Whilst we only washed and slept in the hotel which was not very much due to the 24Hr bar close by it did the job as we did in the Commerzbank Arena to finish top of our group and continue to the next stage in the competition!
Stayed one night during june 2006 when world cup was on. (twin room) No hotels available. was charged €160 for the "privelage" which included breakfast. Room was the worst I have ever stayed in, small and the narrowest I have ever seen. Had room at back totally overshadowed by large derelict building. One large window which could only be opened fully inwards halfway over the bed so you had to run the gauntlet of getting clattered if you sat up without thinking. I believe their normal rate is €40 which is plenty. Only plus was it is a central location, close to main station.(5 mins walk) Also have to say staff were nice but thank god it was only for the one night!
