DORMERO Hotel Frankfurt Messe4.5 out of 5.0

We stayed at the Dormero as part of our visit to a Messe event. The hotel is very well placed for such a trip as it is very close to the West entry. The rooms are very clean, modern and offer a great accommodation.Pillows are a little soft for my taste.. Biggest TV I saw until now in a hotel room is at the Dormero. Free minibar (restocked daily) is a very nice and welcome plus! The downstairs bar is a good choice for a nice evening. The burgers are really really good. Least but not last: the staff..All and I mean all the people at the Dormero go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and accommodated and taken care of. It was extremely pleasant and nice to see the way they treat their clients. Thumbs up!
The hotel itself is quite nice, good food, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are very nice and fashionable. However, there has been no wifi or TV for the last 36 hours, which has made our phone bills skyrocket, along with extreme boredom when we are in our rooms. All the staff keep blaming Deutsche Telekom (their service provider) for the wifi/cable issue, however after speaking to guests in surrounding hotels who also use Deutsche Telekom, we've realized that this probably isn't the case. The hotel would've gotten 5 stars if they invested in a more reliable wifi/cable provider.
I got my reservation for one night on a third party booking site. I had never been in Frankfurt before and was just needing a place as a layover on the way to Almaty, Kazakhstan from USA. (Too far for old folks to do in one jaunt) We were welcomed by a friendly staffer in the better than the Holiday-Express lobby, given keys and told how to get to our room. the Room was small, but very clean and the bath had all necessary amenities. We easily crashed for a few hours before going tdown to explore a bit. Had a beer at the bar and got some directions to old town Frankfurt by train. It is very easy to get into town (the neighborhood of Dormero did not seem to have much activity) because the train station is within easy walking distance and pretty simple to navigate for non-German speaking people. We were out until around 10pm and felt ver safe walking back to the hotel from the train stop. For the budget conscious, I highly recommend the Dormero accommodations. We did not try the restaurant.
Dormero hotel Frankfurt is a very nice place. Clean rooms, good breakfast, nice staff, in a quiet region of the city. The only disadvantage is the train passing just near the hotel. I recommend this hotel!
Hotel is trying to be fancy in all aspects. Not my style - and for 'fancy people' maybe not worth the price. Very good idea ist the included pay TV but the TV system has some problems with itself. Tried the bar but the first 6 drinks I tried to order hadn't been available (only standard drinks - nothing exclusive )
This hotel has a good bar/restaurant for meeting up with people before going on. Excellent location near the Messe and Train Station. I have stayed here 5 times in the last year, and am happy to book it again and again (when there are rooms available)
It was Nice to been here, easy to access Frankfurt city trough train.Quick friendly check in with English speaking staff. Clean fresh room with huge TV and speakers Free movies, free mini bar and free internet nice touches Interesting lightning in the room made for a very enjoyable five nights here Relaxing lobby bar Plentiful choices for breakfast,Free 🍎 & Orange 🍊
The sound proofing is woeful. The hotel is right next to a main railway line. Trains thunder past at frequent intervals and long goods trains clatter by through the night; add to that the main road and you would have to be a very heavy sleeper to get a wink of sleep. I didn"t. Otherwise the hotel is fine, but I won't be back.

The title says it all, it looks nice and new rooms are modern, but my room had problems with the sewer (smells) the speakers next to the large screen make a humming sound, i could hear the neighbour snoring, the breakfast was almost constanly empty because they can't handle so much people at the same time. And that's the thing with a tradeshow everybody wants to go at the same time so they should increase capacity during those days. Then the funny remarks everywhere, it is not my thing. Condoms in the room Really ?? do you expect hookers during tradeshows ? So not my first choice for a next time.
