I checked in near midnight, having driven from Italy with a sports injury. All I wanted was a decent place to sleep and to take a shower in the morning. There was a nice old guy at the reception desk. He helped me with my bags and had to open the door to the room because there was no key to this room. This should have been a warning of the problems that were soon coming my way. The room was horrible. It looked as though a dog had been left in the room for a week and not let out to perform natural elimination practice. The carpet was filthy and the room looked as though someone had vomited in it. There was a substance all over the lampshade, wall and floor. The room smelled and was generally in terrible condition. There were even mosquitoes in the room (probably from someone leaving the windows open for a long period of time to try and eliminate the bad smell). There was little I could do at this late hour and the hotel was fully booked with no other rooms available, according to the only employee left there at night. In the morning I went downstairs and told the front desk of the condition of the room and what I had encountered last night. The front desk person and the housekeeping person came up to look at the room. The front desk person stated that the manager was at a meeting but when she returned to the property, she (the manager) would decide about compensation. There is a long story following this, but another front desk person contacted me a few hours later and offered 10 USD discount on another room for another night's stay, for horrible conditions in the room. He was offering a future room at 50 euro, when I paid $70.00 USD, so the "discount" was $10. I felt this was a cruel joke, but it was not. When I refused the offer, they refused any further contact. This gave me no choice but to contact Best Western, who, after investigation, effectually refunded me on most of my costs. I provided all the information to them and sent 12 photographs of the room conditions. Best Western was responsible in their contacts and investigation.

Besides the TINY Elevator (max. 2 with luggage) the hotel was ok. Various parking opportunities, a spacious room (renovated, but bathroom not inviting) and friendly staff make this midrange hotel worth ist budget price tag. The breakfast buffet was unfortunately budget oriented as well. Overall ok for short Business trips/stays.

From my reviews one can ascertain that I have "been around" and have I believe some judgement. The fact that "you" could not realize the hotel is in a more residential/industrial neighborhood is NOT the hotel's problem. If you are not imbecile And HAVE transportation this is AMAZING value. Why stay in a full of people Streinbrenner etc when you can park outside the door for free, go to 4 supermarkets 1 km away !!! And get an amazing bottle Spaetbugunder for €10, great real Swiss cheese and organic tomatoes... for the price this is an incredible Place:a) huge rooms b) super clean and comfortable beds c) clean bathroom d) nice staff ... yes some stains in the carpet And unless I am in wrong room ... the fact you can't move around away from your village , and paid €€€ for transportation... is your problem....cogito ergo sum... I think so I exist

Adequate rooms. Near airport. Restaurant menu very slim. Nice employees. Rooms were clean. No a/c unusual for us traveler. Would recommend in a pinch. Would be nice if they had more options for guests with layovers.

They need to take the 'best' out of the title! I'm very disappointed with the standard of both the room and the hotel. The hotel is set amidst what appears to be an industrial estate or shopping estate. Noting else near - unless you want to buy a car? Upon entering, there is a strong, lingering smell of urine. The staff were not very welcoming as they left us stood there whilst they made a phone call over another issue - see to waiting people, then make the call! We got to our room - we had booked a comfort room with a queen bed - to be greeted by two singles. The corridors look drab and have had work done recently which is unfinished. The room is grotty. The carpet throughout the hotel is filthy and in the room is no exception. There are no main lights in the room - only four lamps ( maybe so you can't see the dirt?) There are no tea-making facilities in the room which is poor given the remote location of the hotel. Two glasses and a bottle of water have been left - okay if you like sparkling, which we don't. There is no fridge in the room or bathrobes - bother of which are listed as room amenities. Apart from the soap dispenser, there are no other toiletries in the room. The beds have one large pillow on them - how are you supposed to sleep on them without a crick in your neck?! There is no air conditioning in the room - in any rooms apparently. I went to ask and all I was offered was a fan which is noisily blowing out a little cold air as I type ( definitely no sleep for me). It is not possible to open the window overnight due to the noise of passing cars. I have two nights here - two too many! I'm worried now as I have a Best Western reserved for a couple of days time too!

I booked into this hotel for 3 nights as it is very close to the company I was visiting. The first thing to note is that this hotel is no-where near Frankfurt airport. It cost me 43 Euro to get from the airport to the hotel by taxi and another 35 on the way back. It is also in an industrial area of the town which means there are very limited options for eating out if you want to avoid further taxi costs. There really is nothing good to say about this hotel. Even the reception staff, whilst friendly were not efficient. This was my first stay at this hotel, yet I was not given any information about the hotel or facilities available to me other than an internet access code and password. To call the hotel dilapidated is the politest way to describe it. I certainly wish I had taken flip flops with me to wear when removing my outdoor shoes in my room. Where to start. My room, which was on the second floor looked like it had not been upgraded or deep cleaned since the 70s. The walls had wood-chip wallpaper which was painted pale yellow...but not everywhere... some areas showed a pale pink colour, perhaps where the painter failed to complete the job of paining an entire wall? The carpet was more stain than carpet and the shower had black mould ...lovely! The water temperature and water pressure of the shower was changing continuously, changing from hot to cold and reasonable flow to a mere trickle. The room I was allocated was non smoking but still had the stale odour of a smoking room. If the hotel was renovated inside and out it could be a great place to stay as it is quiet and the rooms are very large but until that happens I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Stay here if you are traveling through and need to spend the night. Hotel is dated and in industrial area next to the highway. Staff were friendly and rooms clean and breakfast was OK. Parking and Wifi were free.

The good news first: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and with large windows. Beeakfast was ok. However, the cleanliness shows a lot of improvement potential. The entire hotel looks more like a youth hostel.

Spend one short night because of delayed/cancelled flights and on Lufthansa's budget. Arrived very late and the staff was friendly, quick and even prepared sandwiches (after 11 pm!) which was very nice. Otherwise the hotel is below average, old, shabby and not even close to the airport (15 minutes on the autobahn). WiFi is free, though.

I just paid almost EUR 50 to get to this hotel from the airport, when getting to the city centre only costs EUR 30! The hotel is further away from the airport than the city centre. The name "airport hotel" is completely misleading. The rest of the hotel may be ok but who cares when you end up miles from the airport?
