Nothing luxury about this hotel, but not exactly basic either. A good place to rest your head for the night. Staff were helpful, there was a good selection at breakfast and rooms were clean. A tad noisy between rooms but in general a nice enough hotel.
This is a reasonably-priced hotel with all amenities including spa - good breakfast, nice rooms, many overlooking the Luitpoldhan park. Perfect for visiting the Nazi party relics. Parking etc - tends to fill up with conference trade on weekdays so book early or get good weekend deals.
really great hotel.very well finished rooms with very comfortable bed and great shower/bath.love the corner sink.you have your kettle iron tea coffee etc. carpark 10 euro per night (worth it in the snow). breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot/cold food. staff in the dinning room lovely. we stayed fri 8 th dec and went for breakfast at 9am.the girl who asked for our room number was rude and her manner upset me for hours. such a shame the behaviour of one can put a stain on a hotel. in saying that all the rest of the staff were fantastic.thank you
Hotel is popular with tour groups and can be quite busy. The room (167) was of nice size, had a safe and minibar, ok tv. Had a large bed (two pushed together as is normal in Europe) which was comfortable though would have been nicer with a few more pillows. Mattress was firm. Bathroom shower had a rather small shower curtain which did the trick but you can get a little too familiar with it as the rod is just an old fashion straight rod. Breakfast buffet was average. Ironically the Nuernberger brats were the worst on our trip.
Stayed one night here as part of a tour. The rooms were spacious and clean. Even had an iron and ironing board. The temperature was good even though we didn't use the aircon. Breakfast was extensive snd also of high quality. Would stay there again.
We stayed here one night only as part of a bus tour around Germany. Very nice hotel, we were in a family style room with a sofa bed that had actually been made up for a 3rd person. Didn't matter though, we just used the bed to put our bags on. If we had been staying longer than one night, we would have got them to convert it back into a day-use sofa. Had a wall mounted counter/desk with a couple of chairs. Behind the desk was a wall-mounted flat screen TV. Bathroom had complimentary goodies including a bar of soap. Combination tub/shower with plastic shower curtain. Shaving mirror so high you had to be minimum 6' to use it. In the morning breakfast is served buffet style in a huge dining room. Interesting display cabinets around the hotel showing some of the toys Nuremberg is famous for. Definitely would consider this hotel if we were to return to this region.
Very clean, tidy hotel. Lovely room, stayed for 2 night and really enjoyed my stay. Good size room, very comfortable bed. Nice size shower room The breakfast buffet was outstanding, plenty of choice of bread rolls, cheeses and cold meats
The room was great, it had a balcony, the front desk staff were awesome and very helpful, the wifi was kind of flaky but I think it was just where my room was. I believe I was in room 316. out of everything I only have one gripe.... Room service only gave me new coffee 1 or 2 days out of my 5 day stay. and never any more complimentary water. Maybe there was just a coffee shortage. the hotel wasn't that close to the center of Nuremberg but the amazing public transportation there makes up for it. I HIGHLY Recommend buying the VAG 7 day pass , it will get you on all the busses, trains and trams. in other words you can travel for a week for less than the price of one cab ride.
Another short night on our tour so we didn't get to see much around the hotel. The room was more than we anticipated with comfortable beds. The bathroom was good sized with everything we needed. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items.
Being here on business you are interested in: How far is the exhibition centre (close, so good), do I get a good rest (=good beds, silent room, = good), Parking places (offering a garage and enough outside=good) The service team was a bit special, during the exhibition, there was another team on duty as on Friday, and you felt it. Being recognised by the exhibition team, I had my morning tea already prepared the 2nd day of my stay Friday, all soft drinks were out and it took a while being refilled. Less attentive team. In general , the breaksfast was offering nothing special and the cheese was of ordinary "hotel quality" (don't like that stuff) Out of 10 points the morning buffet is max 4-5 points for me. What is nice, the Hotel is nect door from the Meistersinger Halle so you can enjoy music if you like. Also the Nazi Reichsparteitagsgelände" is next door, which allows you a deep insight of the "black period" of this area. Easy to access from the motorway and a public tram in front of the door.
