Very clean, tidy hotel. Lovely room, stayed for 2 night and really enjoyed my stay. Good size room, very comfortable bed. Nice size shower room The breakfast buffet was outstanding, plenty of choice of bread rolls, cheeses and cold meats
The room was great, it had a balcony, the front desk staff were awesome and very helpful, the wifi was kind of flaky but I think it was just where my room was. I believe I was in room 316. out of everything I only have one gripe.... Room service only gave me new coffee 1 or 2 days out of my 5 day stay. and never any more complimentary water. Maybe there was just a coffee shortage. the hotel wasn't that close to the center of Nuremberg but the amazing public transportation there makes up for it. I HIGHLY Recommend buying the VAG 7 day pass , it will get you on all the busses, trains and trams. in other words you can travel for a week for less than the price of one cab ride.
Another short night on our tour so we didn't get to see much around the hotel. The room was more than we anticipated with comfortable beds. The bathroom was good sized with everything we needed. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items.
Being here on business you are interested in: How far is the exhibition centre (close, so good), do I get a good rest (=good beds, silent room, = good), Parking places (offering a garage and enough outside=good) The service team was a bit special, during the exhibition, there was another team on duty as on Friday, and you felt it. Being recognised by the exhibition team, I had my morning tea already prepared the 2nd day of my stay Friday, all soft drinks were out and it took a while being refilled. Less attentive team. In general , the breaksfast was offering nothing special and the cheese was of ordinary "hotel quality" (don't like that stuff) Out of 10 points the morning buffet is max 4-5 points for me. What is nice, the Hotel is nect door from the Meistersinger Halle so you can enjoy music if you like. Also the Nazi Reichsparteitagsgelände" is next door, which allows you a deep insight of the "black period" of this area. Easy to access from the motorway and a public tram in front of the door.
We spend 4 nights while we were going to do Ironman Roth, hotel was full of triathletes. Service was fantastic and flexibility of the hotel was great. Where else can you have full breakfast ready at 3 am for 200 triathletes before the race! Then after my return trip to Paris, I realized that I forgot one of my bag in the lobby and the staff went beyond their job to repack my bag and hand it to FEDEX. Great service not to mention very comfortable rooms. Thanks
The hotel had great access to green areas and parks. Especially the park would be of interest if you are interested in world war II. It had the area that you always see with the NSDAP. The documentation center was within 10 minutes walk. As for the hotel you do not need to go there if you are into high end food. It was clean and well maintained. No noise form the street.
Stayed for a week with the Challenge Roth Tours/Race Quest Travel group racing the ironman in Roth. The hotel is clean and is on historic park grounds. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet daily & the pool and sauna. Dinner was also very good & the chef was accommodating with our special requests. It was peaceful having dinner next to the park. The staff is warm, friendly & very professional. Christine Stohr at the front desk was fantastic and went above & beyond to take care of us. Nadine Richter at the front desk was also helpful. Gigis at the bar was fun to talk with every day & took great care of us. Marites Flores greeted us happily every day for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and are appreciative of the high level of service provided by everyone.
The hotel reception staff is very friendly and well trained, the rooms renovated and clean, the free wifi offers a usable speed, the underground garage offers shady parking spots and automatic doors (but no elevator from the garage level to the reception level), the breakfast buffet is ok, ther´s a small clean spa/pool area available, near the hotel one finds various restaurants and bars, the bar staff at the hotel isunmotivated abd rude for the most time, prices are ok. Overall a good deal, but eat and drink outside the hotel in the eventing in order to avoid the bar/restaurant staff.
Loved this place. Very wonderful. We only planned on staying one night and when we asked if they had room for us to stay one more night. Thy made several calls and moved a bed here and there and let us stay one more night. My family was very very grateful. Thank you very much for working it out for us so we could extend our vacation one more night. I will be back.
This is a good and comfortable hotel. The leisure facilities are great. On the leisure facilities they should say it is a Swedish rather than Finnish sauna as there is no Löly, due to it being autodosing. However, that is the only negative on the facilities. The pool is great! Not huge, but great. There are plenty of spare towels and drinking water. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well equipped, including a kettle! First one observed in a German hotel room. Also an iron and ironing board. The breakfast is nothing to shout about and cold tea is not great, not ice tea, cold tea. Don't expect the juice to be topped up either. The breakfast at Donaueschingen Wyndham Garden Hotel is much better! The staff are good if you engage them with any needs.
