Rooms are clean,We made a parking reservation and paid for it. when we came back around 11pm, all parking was taken and the Garage door is locked with no access. Parked next to a fire Escape which was actually forbidden & slept praying it wont be toed. it was not fun. Staff can be a little bit friendly!. Basic "Good morning greetings & how was your stay" questions should be practiced at the reception instead of "Hallo & Bye". Apart from that, everything was ok.
The hotel is not bad, and the rooms are good enough but there is not room service, telephone (device) and internet connection wasn't working.. There is a parking exactly outside and the location is good
I dared to ask this hotel for some rooms for an advanced booking. I was told that they did not sell to travel agencies - I explained I was not an agent, but required some rooms in Nuremburg - the answer I got back was "we cannot offer you any rooms - please accept our decision". Not because there was no availability, but because they would not offer the rooms! I am glad that in this economic climate one business is obviously doing so well that they can turn down genuine business - it is obviously not their charm that people are flocking to their hotel for!!! Based on this dialogue, I would not recommend the hotel or it's staff.
I booked this hotel for three nights via Booking.com. Contrary to what it says on the website, there is no wifi in the rooms. Or in theory there is one but so slow that it's useless. Based on guest reviews on Booking.com this has been a problem for years, but it seems that the hotel is still allowed to advertise its "free wifi" on the site. I complained to the staff but they were rude and did not even try to fix the problem.
During the coatings messe this was the only hotel available. Awful rooms and half assed breakfast buffet. The interior in the hallways and the rooms were terribly ugly. The staff were helpful and spoke English though.
one of the worst hotels i've ever seen. i came after 22:30 and there were no one at reception. if you come after 22:30, you have to get up with your luggage trough stairs!! i was with luggage and a baby troller. i had a terrible time, because you have to enter trough the back door, with 2 staircases.
Good enough hotel, rooms were clean actually roomy for the price, Placed in very good location not far from very center. Did not took breakfast option, there are plenty in town. Wifi is not free at all though.
All in all, a good stay. The hotel is about 20 minutes on foot from Nuürnberg Central railway station, so a good walking distance. If you feel a bit "daring", you can walk the distance, even at night, but remember that the fastest way crosses a small park (I went to Nürnberg in December, so no dodgy encounters at night in parks), and through maybe not the most exclusive part of town (since it is so close to the station), so be careful, anyway. The room (number 14 if I remember correctly) was big, clean and warm. The bed was quite big (I think queen size, for just me big enough). The bathroom was clean and big enough, and the only "strange" thing was the shower: you had to climb over a small wall and enter the shower as if it were a bathtub (I actually think it is a bathtub turned shower), so if you are not so steady on your feet you should ask for a different room. The price for 2 nights was ok. I did not pay 10 euros for the breakfast (which was not included in the price), I preferred having breakfast in town. The hotel is about 1 minute walk from the tram that goes to Plärrer and the S-Bahn connection (closer to the old Town) and from there it is a shorter walk to the town center.
Hotel in a very good location just outside downtown. It has been disappointing to discover that the price payd to 7 Ideas, the booking portal used to mke the reservation, was 220 € / night, while the rate asked by the hotel in case of a direct booking was 150 €
We stayed here just one night whilst making the journey up through Germany and this was a cheap and cheerful last minute booking. Nothing special, the double bed was actually two single mattresses put together but the shower was clean and hot. Parking available on site for €5 which isn’t bad really and there was no noise disturbance from anywhere. No air-conditioning which meant I didn't have the vest nights sleep as it was so humid. For the price we paid it was a good deal.
