Don't know why people moan about little things like parking, lift ect. More than enough parking available free of charge within a 2 minute walk as are some of the rooms which are situated across the road. Plenty good enough as roomy, clean and friendly staff. Lovely place to visit and if you are not the type to spend your time fault finding but want to enjoy the great surrounds then this place is for you

We were disappointed that we were not in the hotel pictured in advert. The building was a short walk away with a closed restaurant area on the ground floor. This made the building seem very dismal. We were disappointed with the lack of parking outside the hotel as my husband has a disability and had to walk back some way from the car park. The weather was very hot and as the hotel does no have air con we had to sleep with the windows open for some air. Basically we hardly slept. Our room was at the front of the hotel and the noise from the road seemed constant and loud. Building to the finale of the waste van banging its way through at about 6.30 in the morning. Such a pretty town it was a shame our stay was so marred by these hotel disappointments. Still to try breakfast

Clean modern bathroom great shower Great location friendly staff Good buffet breakfast only downside is parking is away from main building Nice village location with the opportunity to walk by the river Would stay again good value

It really is not good enough to have no lift up to the 2nd floor. It actually makes your stay unpleasant if you have any problems at all with exertion. Beware. If the lift was ok this would be a pleasant hotel in a quiet picturesque little town.

My wife and I visited Romantische Strasse and started at this hotel. The reception by staff at check-in was indeed very welcoming and lively. We felt very welcome here. Room was great. Very clean and everything was just as supposed at a quality hotel. Breakfast buffet was medium size (without pancakes and waffles - but I do fine without anyway) Staff was smiling and forthcoming, though they were busy. We would stay here again. Thank you, Weisses Lamm

The hotel is in an old building in the center of the romantic town of Veitshoechheim. We could offload the luggage in front of the hotel but had to park the car in a free parking lot a short distance away. The room was small but cozy with everything we needed. The comfortable beds allowed a good night’s sleep however, even though we were on the side of the building we had to close the windows early in the morning when traffic started rolling over the cobbled street in the front. As we were on a leisure trip we appreciated that we could have breakfast until 11 am and the breakfast was good and plenty. We did not eat in the hotel but across the road in a restaurant called ‘Das Spundloch’ where we were served nice local food. The location is perfect, close to the baroque castle with its beautiful gardens and the promenade along the river Main. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Our stay here in the Anna house was wonderful. They have three locations and we've been in two of them. I highly recommend that Anna house for comfort, size, quietness and proximity to parking. The suite was what one would expect in the US. They have a usable kitchen, living room area and single bed in a separate room and a clean large bathroom with separate tub and shower.

We didn't have a booking and needed room for two adults and two teens and called in quite late. There were no family rooms available. All that was available was two one bedroom apartments but the rate quoted was beyond our budget. However, the gentleman on the desk was able to drop the rate in the interests of selling the rooms at the last minute so we took them with breakfast included and were very happy. The apartments were spacious, we were able to drive to the supermarket and prepare some dinner and we enjoyed breakfast the next morning. This place is convenient to Wurzburg and the apartments are very pleasant. Highly recommended.

First the good points - this hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful; the breakfast was plentiful and there was a great variety of food to choose. It is in a pretty town on the outskirts of Wurzburg, and a quieter place to stay than the main city with hourly trains in and out (under 10 minutes) which were cheaper to use and more convenient for the sights than driving in and parking. The bad points were the size of the room (very small), lack of air conditioning (the room was very hot inside even though we needed coats outdoors) and the plasticised covers on the mattress and pillows that made for an uncomfortable and sweaty night's sleep. Our room was in an annex opposite the main hotel with a restaurant underneath and we had a lot of noise from the restaurant on one evening where there was some sort of event going on.

Good location, close to city. Central heating and Wifi was working well. Friendly and helpful staff, and bacon at the good continenetal breakfast. The bed could have been more soft and comfortable. Total impression was very good, except for that I got a room in the annex ca 100 meter from the original hotel.
