Hilton Downtown Fort Worth

The hotel was overbooked when I tried to check in after pre-paying and moved me three miles out of town which was a particular inconvenience as I had several events and meetings planned downtown. Everyone was very nice, and I was told that I would be refunded for this night. This has yet to happen a 10 days later, and I'm now working with the accounting department.

Hotel was nice and conveniently located. There was not much to do in Fort Worth but a one hour train ride will take you to Dallas.

I stayed on the 15th floor and the A/C unit was leaking in the bathroom. I called down after the first night and they came up and tried to fix it but were unsuccessful. I was out of the room until late that night so I tried to call again in the morning. I called down a couple of times in the morning after the second night but the phone just kept ringing and I had somewhere to be so I had to leave. I was then gone until late that night and left the next morning. Very nice hotel but I was very disappointed with the problems I had there.

I really like this hotel, and it is a great value, except for one thing. You are pretty much forced to use their valet parking, at $25/night, which is pretty expensive. The valet parkers are not the friendliest either (perhaps because they are constantly running back and forth as they have to service almost every guest), unlike the rest of the staff which is great.

This hotel seems out to nickle and dime you at every turn, which seems odd for an already expensive hotel. WiFi was $10 per day, parking $25, breakfast buffet $16. Meanwhile, the drain in the bathroom only just barely worked at all and there were water stains on the ceiling of the bathroom. I couldn't get the printer in the self-service internet station to print my boarding pass. The bartender in the mezzanine bar couldn't be less interested in providing any service at all during happy hour. This hotel is NOT worth the price asked.

Great place and an excellent location. Near restaurants, the convention center, and night life.

Nice place to hang out but pricey. Ruth Crises Steakhouse opens into the hotel on the first floor and the food is great...within walking distance to all of downtown. ..

The history of this hotel is incredible, and I appreciated all the photos of JFK's visit to the hotel on the walls. We stayed on the Executive level, and thought the lounge access was fairly nice. The bar drinks are not complimentary, just FYI...they do offer complimentary bottled water, sodas, milk, juice, coffee, tea, etc. Our only complaint is that you are forced to valet and pay $22/day for parking...ridiculous! The nearby parking lots/garages were closed for the weekend and no metered parking sports available.

The wife and I had a wonderful time at the Hilton this past weekend. The staff was very attentive and accommodating as well as efficient at rendering solutions to any requests or needs we had during our stay. Our room was in perfect order and I must say very quiet despite some conventioneers that were staying that night. We used the exercise facility twice and found it clean on both occasions with all equipment in working order . We did like that there was a suggestion pad to make comments for improvements or concerns. We had none. The skylight lounge was a calm relaxing spot to discuss our dinner plans over a cocktail. The space was a nice combination (upscale feel but not pretentious ) The JFK memorial was tastefully done and touched our hearts. The Hilton's location was central to any downtown activity one would desire. In all it was a wonderful and relaxing stay that I would highly recommend.

We had an event in FTW that was postponed due to the ice storm that hit. We have stayed at this hotel before and love it. Although we booked a non refundable basis, the hotel was nice enough to refund our money. We will be re-booking with them again for the next event.

In Dallas for the ND Shamrock game at AT&T Stadium. Surprised we didn't stay in Big D but discovered lil' Ft. Worth a charming downtown with much history. Hilton was perfectly located for the events and Main St. is more boutique and charming. Room was Texas large and so comfortable that we over slept two straight days. Probably won't ever return to Ft. Worth, but if we did we would definitely stay at the Hilton.

This hotel is in a good location close to the TRE and Bass Hall. They have done a good job retaining the historic Hotel Texas. For those looking for vegan-friendly places, they have a spinach salad with strawberries. walnuts (hold the goat cheese!) on the menu. They also have oatmeal, cereal, and fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet.

My wife & I attended a 4-day Montessori workshop at The Omni but decided to stay at The Hilton which is about a ten minute walk. At the end of the day, we always looked forward to going back to our hotel. The Hilton's location was perfect and the staff were very nice and accommodating from Papa Mike to the front desk personnel. While the hotel was visibly old, you can see the management's effort to keep the rooms updated and clean. Our Hilton experience surely made our first Fort Worth visit very pleasant.

The Hilton down town Ft. W was an "OK" experience except for the fact that Orbitz did not hold up to their end of the deal. The MAJOR component of my reservation was a NON-SMOKING room. We ended up in a smoking room and the hotel was over booked so we couldn't switch either day we were their. The hotel tried to accommodate by spraying some good smelling chemicals, comping a breakfast for two, and giving us 2 free drinks. Only negative thing about the Hilton was the $20 per day for valet parking. Their justification for 20 bucks a day is that it is "unlimited in and out". But what about the people who don't ever pull their car out except to leave to go home?? We still pay the same fee. I rate ORBITZ a 0/5 and the Hilton 4/5.

No complaints. Very polite staff. Hotel is well maintained, room service food was good, but staff didn't speak good English, and I have a problem with that anyplace in the USA!!

Clean, orderly, and staff polite. Didn't eat there so I've no opinion on food served. Location very good, for Ft Worth. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

I went to Fort Worth for a wedding taking place downtown. The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants and shopping, and only a short, uncomplicated drive to the venue. The room was comfortable and clean, but I was disappointed that amenities that are usually free at other hotels were quite costly: parking, wifi, and breakfast. I had to use the business center computers in order to get free wifi (which was only free for 30 minutes - not much time when the computers were so slow). I needed to print out boarding passes and directions and was charged a dollar per page. Overall, the hotel was beautiful, and comfortable, and since my stay was very short, I only had to pay parking for one night, so I did not feel too bad about the price of valet parking (the valet parking attendants were very good).

My husband and I showed up at 11:30 pm after our wedding. We had booked this hotel months in advance. The hotel overbooked. We should have called beforehand to let them know we'd be checking in late for our brief honeymoon, but we were in from out of town and in a big rush for our wedding. Alas, they thought we weren't showing up. Upon arrival, they regretfully informed us we would be staying at the Crowne Plaza-away from downtown. The plaza was terrible and our night was ruined. The next day we returned to the Hilton. The Hilton staff were informed of our situation , apologized for the inconvenience and provided us a complimentary night. The stay was lovely and comfortable at the Hilton. Our room service was great. The bed was heavenly. There is a Starbucks on the first floor and you are in walking distance of wonderful restaurants and nightlife. Downtown Ft. Worth is cute. Although short, our stay was romantic. The Hilton definitely made up for the first night.

I was at this hotel for two nights to attend a professional conference hosted at the same hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They have delicious strawberry and orange infused water in the lobby at all times and it is YUMMY! They have a great concierge staff and I was appreciative of them being willing to take care of and store my luggage before and after check in and check out time. I'd love to return to Fort Worth for pleasure and stay at this Hilton again. Kudos!

Stayed at the Hotel overnight after a concert as Bass Performance Hall. Nice clean rooms and helpful staff.
