After a day of travel it was so good to find a great Comfort Suites. It was clean and very comfortable. Had a great breakfast and were on our way. Check in and check out was super fast. Had a great nights sleep even with 18 tornadoes clouds swirling around the city!
Not sure how to review yet. My reservation was not honored and I was not allowed to stay. Booked a week in advance. The young lady at the front desk was awesome, as she tried for over an hour to help resolve the issue. I will see if I am refunded the difference for having to relocate.
I love the size of the rooms in Comfort Suites. There is plenty of space for the family to spread out. The beds were comfortable. There are plenty of lights and outlets. Were were there with a lot of family. So I know our room was not normal. Our room have a number of issues that the other rooms didn't. We were only there for 1 night so it didn't make sense to move. Our air conditioner was blowing cold air but for some reason the room never cooled off until the outside night cooling helped it along. The refrigerator in the room didn't work. (I was told ice builds up on the compressor but since the room wasn't cool either I don't see how that would be the case) The toilet did not want to flush. (the chain was too long. I adjusted it and it worked. but not something a guest should have to deal with) The TV did not respond to the numbers on the remote and the up and down sometimes jumped 2 or 3 channels at a time. I ended up stepping through the channels with the buttons on the back of the TV.
My husband and I took our two young kids to Fort Worth for the weekend for a fun little trip to the zoo and Grapevine Mills Mall. We booked this hotel for Friday night and Saturday night. We unpacked our car and locked it and left it at about 11:30 Friday night. This hotel was comfortable and clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a wide selection and the pool was nice and clean. However the area it's in is less than savory... we woke up Saturday morning and went to the car to leave for the mall and found that our driver side window had been shattered and the interior of the car had been trashed. We were two hours from home so there was no way we could stay anywhere in Fort Worth without a window in our car so we had to turn around and come home. However the staff was awesome. They had maintenance bring us a shop vac to clean the glass out of our car. They refunded our Saturday night stay (even though we were on the non refundable policy) since we couldn't stay our second night. I definitely recommend the hotel but if you stay here make sure you park around the front where your car isn't as hidden and watch your belongings. We were parked around the side just out of view of a camera. Someone else who frequents the area told us that the motel 6 across the way is notorious for hookers and drugs and that's where a lot of the break ins come from and that it's a pretty common occurrence in the area, so be aware.
Traveling to Austin from north late at night. Very convenient on 35 W, very nice and clean room. Very friendly staff. Had a good night sleep. Would use again and would recommend to others. Fair price as well. Did not use the breakfast, but people seemed to be enjoying it.
I travel to this area often for work and have struggled finding a hotel in my price range, that also meets good standards. This is my second visit to this Comfort Suites, and I will book the same hotel next month, as well.
Awesome hotel close to the airport. Very clean, would stay again. Friendly staff, nice and quick shuttle service.Highly recommend this hotel for family,or bussiness stay any day. This hotel also has a great breakfast
Room 100: The lobby was not anything special but the young man on duty was helpful. Our room was large and comfortable, I wish they could put the jacuzzi tubs in the bathroom so the sleeping area doesn’t get so humid, otherwise the room was very nice.Found the bed to be comfortable , to our liking which is somewhat firm with a pillow top.
Because my friend is an elite plus member, we used his points for a free stay. We expected very little since it was free, but our room was wonderful. We did have to get them to replace the mini fridge and no one freshened our room on Saturday but all in all, it was ok.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Comfort Suites. Super clean hotel with amazing staff! Breakfast is the normal hotel waffle breakfast, etc, but the waffle iron is in the shape of Texas, so that was different. Stayed 3 days and we don't have anything bad to say about it. Would come back in a heartbeat!
