I have stayed at this hotel now 5 times. In the past I loved this hotel and was excited to bring my son. When we arrive the main water fall swim up bar (that I raved about) was closed for renovations. The hotel resturant was closed for renovations. We actually ate our breakfast under a tent with water all through out due to the rain. Not fun!! The walls of the hotel were very thin. The smell in the hallways was horrible. The staff however was very friendly. Loved the cabana bar out by the beach. The workout room which my son was looking forward to was torn out. We were however able to use the hotel next door's workout room. Not up to par with my memories or what was listed when booked our reservations. Very disappointed.

First let me say the outside amenities is the only thing that looks good! Front desk staff had me standing for the longest they had two workers that just kept looking at me and never asked what I need! One of the managers (Veronica) walked up and asked if I’d been helped and I said no and the other two workers just looked up at me (a man and woman)! Veronica was so helpful and kind! Now to the room itself...... horrible I was so uncomfortable the sheets look like they never been changed or been in rotation for wayyyy too long! It was just a really outdated room and I was not comfortable at all I was so disgusted I couldn’t sleep I was up bright and early to check out and we stayed at The Hilton Sandestin for the rest of our trip! The 2 pools that were open and the splash pad and the beach access was about the only thing nice about this hotel! Never again will I stay at a Ramada!

Room small and dated. Not informed when making reservations that the pool which attracted us to the hotel was under construction. Given a room right above construction which went on with a generator and grinder until 10:30pm at night, even after we complained at 8pm. Makeshift outdoor restaurant had long lines and ran out of food. Drywall spots and broken tiles in the elevator, electrical outlets in the room are a fire hazard, internet slow, smell of smoke in the hallway and drifted in the room in the middle of the night. The nice part was the friendly staff and close to the beach, but a lot of hotels are right on the beach.

way overpriced for an old hotel. it was ok clean, breakfast was ok but needed more choices, bathtubs were old and stained. view was awesome but I think we could have found much cheaper for the condition of the hotel. The pool was being redone, I wish I would have known. Ramada doesn't have very high standards but high price. I booked spur of the moment and didn't check out reviews. I give this a 0 for the price, 5 for nice employees, and 2 for condition of hotel.

While the lobby and the pool were being renovated, the room, hallways, and elevators could've used a bit of renovation as well. The air conditioner was way too loud and the bathroom light worked when it wanted to. At breakfast, the potatoes were cold, but the bacon was great. The ocean front view was stunning and direct access to the beach was very nice.

Renovations are a nightmare - it's a complete disaster - the rate was cheap but you get what you pay for

The entire hotel is under construction. I was woken up early by the sound of jackhammers and various other noises. I was not notified of this at the time I booked the hotel, I had no idea until I arrived and had already paid. Also, the bathtub drain was not working properly. I had to stand in a pool of my own filth while showering. Also, the bathroom sink drain did not drain AT ALL! I washed my hands once, and then could not use the sink again after that. I will never stay there again.

Nice stafff, great pools, super beach location. Rooms are old, worn and in bad need of an update. It is about the location here and this hotel has an excellent location, view, patio, deck and pools.

nice place, great outside facility's (pools, bars ect)

My room was really close to the beach and a walkable distance to all of the volleyball events. I have stayed here once before a few years ago and enjoyed it. the restaurant was great and the pool was nice with the bar inside. I will definitely be back in April for the next tournament!!

For the money we spent this is good value for a family vacation. Conveniently located. Prices are reasonable and the rooms are good. The staff provided good service daily. The pools and hot tub are clean. The breakfast buffet was tasty! Overall we had a great time and would return to this facility.

Not the newest hotel around, but really comfortable, with good amenities. The room was very clean, great view of the ocean and fantastic pools that my son loved. The restaurant serves great food, amazing breakfast and quick meals that you can have by the pool. Walking distance to great restaurants, and the staff were really friendly and happy to serve your needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel right on the beach.

The place itself is nice and in a prime location. However, having to fight off a total of 9 cockroaches in 3 days is beyond belief. Each roach discovery was a different incident and time, not like all were found all at once. Some were in the bathroom, some were in the dressers, some were in the closets and even in the refrigerator. We complained to the office a total of four times and never did they ever place us in another room. On our last day there the final manager did give us $100 credit for our issues and was she was wondering why we were never given new rooms from the first incident. Again, to be fair.... the place is in a great area overall comfortable. My issue was in how the incident was or was not resolved from the beginning.

I love this hotel. We have stayed here several times in the past. The proximity to family activities, restaurants and the beach are a plus. This trip, however, we were disappointed to find the pool, grounds, rooms and hallways have become very dilapidated. Our sink and bathtub did not drain well. There were lights out in the bathroom and the hairdryer was barely working. The carpet in the room was nasty. The hotel is in desperate need of renovation and repair. Unless drastically improvements are made, we won't choose this hotel again.

Older hotel...lobby had buckets and towels all over the floor when I checked us in...room was clean and beds were comfortable...stains on ceilings...had to call maintenance to fix frigerator and desk lamp...he was good and fixed both...pools were nice but the rock waterfall pool needed painting...nostalgic visit but won't be back.

i PAID for a balcony, 2 beds, with "breaktaking views" of the gulf..obviously this was false advertising, bait and switch..VERY DISAPPOINTED!! i paid PREMIUM price for a room they normally charge $100 cheaper a night..when i arrived i was told i was "upgrated " to 1 king bed (not 2 beds) , they argued that a sofa in the room...i asked for 2 beds as i booked..ended up with views of a hedge and fence..PATHETIC....not worth the price i paid..AT ALL!!! ive stayed at this facility for over 20 years, ive never been treated worse..the room was so bad, we had to get repair guy twice...i feel if you order and PAY for a room, they should give you what you booked...there were other rooms with no view that were $100 nite cheaper..i feel they owe me $200 ....

The hotel was rin down and not clean. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

Everyone should stay there at least once. Right on the beach.

EVERYTHING was fabulous, except the internet. Great location.

Wifi sucked and could use some updates on bathrooms
