We have been staying here for many years. The property is outdated and poorly maintained. Last decorated 20+ years ago. Chairs and couches springs pinch your butt and are hard as a salvation army cot. Too bad because location is a 10. Now they also charge for towels ie resort fee please.....pool is poorly kept and cold. Patios were unkept and cheap furniture. WHAT HAPPENED?

I won’t stay here again. You have to be shuttled to beach and the boat does not hold enough people. Had to wait over an hour to get off beach. Even when lightening. No bathrooms on beach. Parking terrible-tight spaces. Not a typical Wyndham property. I called for coffee and they said come get it at lobby. Every other Wyndham brings it to you. Did not like layout of room. Pros-close to great restaurants. Pretty area. Beach was beautiful.

Stayed June 23 through June 30 Check in was horrible. Arrived at 12:30, was charged $3,100 and was told they will do their best to get us into our room. At 4PM was told they had 70 beds to overturn and that 8 house keepers had quit so they were behind. At that point there was no ETA of when we would get into our room. I had to verbally negoitate with the manager to get a half nights rate back because it was almost 6:30 before we were in our room. We stayed a total of 6 nights. On a daily basis, I had to empty the trash and put outside the door. We had to ask for towels daily. No one came at all the entire 6 days to tidy up the room, change out linens, or re supply any amenities. The capet in the room needs to be changed out. The room did smell like mildew. What is upsetting, is that we pay premium price $518 per day and this is no 5 star resort. When the place is 100% full, there is no room to swim in the pool because it is too overcrowded. There are 2 elevators in each tower that take forever, plus there is no service elevator so you have to share with bellhops, house keeping, and other staff. This is a time share resort. We belong to DVC with Disney. This place if very far, far, from meeting the expectations that Disney meets above and beyond every single time we stay with them. I would not recommend anyone buying into this time share. Some pluses include daily drink specials of $5 each from the bar and the food is not bad for the price it being on grounds.

Beautiful building, well-kept, big rooms, fun location, great views, many things within walking distance. Staff was very attentive to our needs, and very respectful. Views are great from every angle. Can't wait to come back

This is a GREAT place!! Nice location with lots of things to do within walking distance. The resort is very nice, clean and quiet but close to all kinds of great restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend.

This hotel is the perfect place to stay in Destin. Great location, great amenities and very friendly staff. Once you park your vehicle you shouldn’t have to get in it again. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The boat ride to and from the beach was great. This place will not disappoint.

We stayed at 522 in the west tower at emerald grande last week for summer vacation. It’s a 3 bedroom with two bath, spacious and has all your needs covered. Washer/dryer. All kitchen utensils, as well as pots and pans, and a nice view of the harbor. Water taxi takes you to a private beach with chairs and umbrellas provided. Chris took excellent care of us and was readily available to help with all questions....thanks again for a awesome stay, we look forward to coming back.

Nice facility with good amenities; however, the music from McGuire's that plays until 1:30 am was horrific. I would NOT recommend staying at this facility. Staff was less than helpful in making a room change and went so far as to say they rarely receive complaints about the noise. At checkout, the man indicated he fields these complaints ALL of the time. The units that face the street that the call a "bay view" which is really a street view should not be rented or should be rented with a disclaimer that says, you will not sleep until the bar closes.

The nicest vacation I've ever had. We had a 3 bedroom Deluxe Harbor View on the 10th floor for our family for the week. Plenty of space for everyone in a nice, clean, modern unit. The view from the balcony was amazing. It's location at the end of Harborwalk is great. There is so much to eat & do within walking distance. Free parking for guests in the garage on lower floors of the building. There is a private beach with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. There is a free water taxi to take you to the beach. The pools look nice but we never went because we wanted to spend time on the beach. All the staff was very nice and helpful. I can't say enough nice things or recommend this enough. It was that great! If I had to pick on one thing to improve, the elevators are slow, crowded & busy.

We held our 40th Anniversary Party at the resort. The staff is excellent, the accommodations are first class, and the location is the best. We can't say enough good things about this resort. Easy access to everything you might want to do within walking distance or drive to other activities if so inclined.
