We initially had problems with our room, maintenance responded immediately and we were given another room of our choice.

This isn't a hotel, really. It's a condo in a resort area. Keep that in mind when booking. The welcome area is located as you enter the resort village, not in the Bayside building, so there's no "front desk" downstairs. That's not a complaint... just giving everyone a heads up. We stayed a weekend in the off season and it was very quiet. Everything was clean and looked like it had been recently updated in our room. There was a tram available to take us to the village and back until 10 pm, which was convenient.

The hotel room was very nice! The decor was very pretty and unique. The beds were loud and not super comfortable, but didn't take away from the experiment. The pool and bathroom could have been cleaner, but didn't make me feel like I was in a dirty motel 6 or anything. I enjoyed myself here and plan to come again

the bed was too short and too small to sleep two adults comfortable. Had to pay extra fee to get full service/room service...like cleaning, vacuum floor, change linen/make beds etc, otherwise you get basic service which is empty the trash and give you clean towels. You would think this cost would be included in the daily resort fee you have to pay. it's an Older hotel that needs updating, we did have free wifi but it was not the best, kept losing the signal. Need to add some comfortable room chairs. Staff was very pleasant and helpful

Great! The hotel was clean and had a great view, beautiful pool area

There is no hotel staff. It's more like a condo than a hotel and if you call guest services, they never answer. The bed was extremely hard but the room decor was nice. It was definitely not worth the amount of money we paid to stay there.

A walk through Paradise Wonderful experience great food beautiful white sandy beach

My family and I stayed 4 nights at Bayside in Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort. If there is any such thing as a perfect vacation, this sure came super close. We enjoyed all of the amenities and weren't even able to do all that was offered. We will definitely be returning to Sandestin Beach and Golf Resort again soon! They even have tram service for free all over the resort. It was good, but crowded rides at times. Otherwise, we did not have a single bad experience during our stay. I would recommend this resort and Bayside specifically to anyone!

Beautiful views and great amenities at the resort however this particular hotel within the resort just had new paint. Our room was never serviced in 4 days, oddly low bathroom counters, horrible internet speed, outdoor furniture dirty and cigarette damaged. I'd stay at the resort again, just not at Bayside.

If you can, stay on the gulf side - it's much nicer and everything is in walking distance. Still it was great for the money and the staff was absolutely wonderful. Great place to stay overall.

My wife and I spent our wedding night here. It was perfect. Friendly staff, easy checkin and fantastic facilities.

We stayed at Leciel for a 2nd time recently. We love staying at Sandestin for the great amenities such as free 4 hour rental of bikes, free 1st hour of kayaks or paddleboards, and they have a free tram to take you from your hotel to the beach and to the Sandestin village. You could virtually spend your entire vacation in Sandestin without using your own vehicle. We stayed in a suite with an amazing bay view. It was wonderful waking up to the view of the water and watching the fish flop and boats float by. The room was very clean and the unit had a kitchen as well, if you'd like to cook breakfast or dinner some days. Who doesn't like to cook when you don't have to clean the dishes :) (maids did the dishes on their daily clean - Score!) The only thing was that you have to check in at the Grand Sandestin away from Leciel, and there wasn't anyone at the front desk in Leciel the entire time we were there. However, we didn't need anything so we were fine. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be back.

This hotel and location was awesome. It was obviously an older hotel that has undergone renovations to become a really nice hotel. Decor was fantastic, amenities that come with the room were a nice surprise.... But the hotel is situated in the back of the resort, and there is no staff available if u need anything. And the morning of the day I was to checkout, they started to hammer and drill, very loudly, right next door!! I asked them to stop until checkout time but they blatantly ignored me!! Also the maids tried to bully me into leaving 2 hrs early!! Ridiculous. Was going to stay an extra night, but glad I waited on that!! I would expect something like that from motel 6, not $150 a night hotel!

Complimentary ammenities were not able to be used because the places that rent them out close around that time. If I had known that, I would have planned our time there differently.

Outside and décor was fine and had been updated. However, the walls were paper thin. We were awaken every morning at 6:30 by someones tv. There was no staff on the premises if there was a problem. You would have to get I your car and go about 5 miles.

Carpet dirty, cobwebs even on sprinkler heads, baseboards not in tact, screws missing and or rusted in the shower, shower knobs loose from the wall, bed was supposed to be a king and was two very uncomfortable, but the worst part was the staff when I brought these issues to the hotel staffs attention I was very rudely told well you get what you pay for and I paid close to 120.00 for my room. Horrible

The location at the san destin resort was beautiful! We had access to the rest of the resort which was so much fun! The beach is beautiful and people were very helpful!

I booked a rental and hotel for a great price. Sept may be considered the off season but it was 85 clear and sunny all weekend.

The hotel is really nice, but a lot farther out from Destin than what we wanted. We were there 3 nights and the sheets were changed only once. Also, when I made reservations were thought we were getting a suite, but the contemporary suite was actually a basic hotel room. Advertisement was very misleading on this.

The room they reserved for us had a view of the valet parking. Had cigarette butts on the small balcony and water dripping on it from the a/c unit above. It also had 2 full sized beds, not big enough for my wife and I to share. We requested a king size. They also hit us up with an $88.00 cleaning fee upon check-in. I went to the front desk and asked for a better room, they didn't have one available at Le Ceil, so they put us in a room across the resort in the Pilot House. It was a studio condo, but in a much more crowded area of the resort and not as nice. The room itself was cramped and not comfortable. Will have to find another place to stay the next time to Destin.
