The hotel is easy to find. The rooms are big, quiet, and comfortable.
I ARRIVE AFTER A 3 HR FLIGHT 20 MINS B4 CHECK-IN TIME, THE GIRL UP FRONT TELLS ME IF I CHECK IN NOW IT'LL COST 25.00? I EXPLAINED I HAD A DOC APT. IN AN HR DOWN IN NAPLES WITH MY SPECIALIST. I TRAVEL FROM CHICAGO BACK HOME EACH MNTH 4 ONLY 24 HRS TO VISIT 4 DRS. THEN TURN AROUND & FLY BACK OUT DUE TO WORKING IN CHICAGO SO 2AM I WAKE GRAB TAXI TO O'HARE AIRPORT THEN FLY OUT TO FLORIDA, I HAD BEEN UP 12 HRS OR SO JUST WANTED TO CHANGE FROM WINTER CLOTHES TO COOLER ONES I HAD PACKED. SHE RUDELY TOLD ME WITHOUT LOOKING @ ME RESTROOMS OVER THERE, I ASK HER SO I HAVE TO CHANGE IN THERE THEN CHECK IN AFTER DOC APTS? SHE REPLIES YEP UNLESS U WANT TO PAY 25.00? I SIT & WAIT UNTIL I COULD CHECK IN 15 MNS @ THIS TIME, CALLED MY 1ST APT. THEY PUSHED IT OUT 20 MINS THANK GOD. I THOUGHT I WAS STAYING @ THE ONE OFF OF DANIELS? IT'S NICE PPL ARE NICE BUT THIS ONE IS THE WORST EVER. ALL I THINK OF WHEN I THINK OF THIS EXPERIENCE I THINK OF HOW RUDE W/O A GREETING WHEN APPROACHING CHECK-IN DESK & THE WAY THE YOUNG LADY TREATED ME. I WISH I KNEW HER NAME BUT IT WAS JAN. 23,2017 RIGHT B4 CHECK-IN. AFRICAN AMERICAN. THE RUDEST PERSON I'VE EVER COME ACROSS, & I TRAVEL ALOT. IF THEY WERE GIVING ROOMS AWAY, I WOULD DECLINE.
It was good because I needed somewhere close to the airport for an early flite.
Well I was on hold for a twenty minutes before arrival nothing extraordinary pretty basic no one goes the extra mile to make sure you satisfied Price was good
The rooms were musty smelling. We complained about roaches and had to be moved to a new room. Plus we found the master key in our room. Laying on the bed. Very dangerous if that fell into the wrong hands.
Hotel manager was just super !! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Handy, clean, acceptable but a bit overpriced at $140 p.d.
The room was pretty basic. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Didn't make it to the breakfeast, but it looked good.
Daytime front desk clerk was very rude when we checked in. Hallways and rooms smelled moldy. Shower had tremendous hot and cold issues. You were either scolded or extremely cold. Everything else in the area was booked up or we would not of stayed 3 nights. The hotel cleaning staff was very nice and cleaned our room everyday. Swimming pool area was also taken care of.
I've stayed in some marginal motels before, but honestly Travel Lodge Ft. Meyers could not have been worse. When we entered our room it was dirty, un-swept and with extensive red stains (lipstick?) in the grout of the floor tiles. The beds were constructed of 2x8 frames, sitting on the floor, with 3/4 plywood on top, and a headboard nailed to the wall! There were no mattress skirts to attempt to hide this. The blankets we received had cigarette holes burned in them. When we asked for new blankets, these (can you guess?) had the same problem. Two of the bureau drawers were crooked as they sat in the bureau. We were in a building in the back of the motel, with entry through a back stairway in a somewhat isolated area of the parking lot. The door into the stairwell from the outside did not lock, and the door into the hallway was permanently propped open with a block of wood. Security? Ha. One morning when we went out at 5 AM we found two people sleeping in the hallway! Fortunately they were polite as we stepped over them to leave. I am not making any of this up, it was honestly the worst possible motel situation. They say you get what you paid for? Not even.
It was a great hotel for a reasonable amount! Rooms were super clean and kept nice and staff was friendly.
It was fine. The front counter woman seemed overwhelmed when I got there.
First off the hotel was extremely dirty. Blankets were dirty, bathroom, floor, also every towel in the place had something on it. So I couldnt even take a shower if I wanted. I called the manager and she blamed me for it???? So I checked out after only being in the room literally 55 minutes.. never again!!!!
This hotel was absolutely horrible! First, we booked a non-smoking room and the room we received smelled of smoke. Secondly, there were ants in our room! The ants were in our food that we boxed up, in our clothes, and in our beds! The front office did nothing but bring $4.00 bug spray to our room. They didn't offer to move us or give us our money back. Thirdly, there were dogs barking loudly on our floor! This hotel apparently allows dogs to stay on a floor with non-dog owners. Lastly, the customer service was horrendous. The front desk staff acted as if the ants weren't there problem. They have shady employees walking around and you can't tell if they are really employees. This one guy wore a tank top to work. I will never, ever book this hotel again and I suggest many people do not book here!
I came on a night that was sold out. When I checked in the man at the desk was efficient but not really nice. When I went up the stairs to my room the rug was stained and had a wet smell. When I got to my room the door was opened but no one was inside. Then I realized the towels were really rough and had holes the blanket had mold growing on it and the air condition put out a foul smell. Since there were sold out there was no where else for me to put me and they just gave me air freshener. N the towels in my room were never replace... I didn't even spend the night
The Hotel has a Good Location , Clean bathroom and a comfortable bed . The breakfast was ok . Kudos to the Staff
We were hesitant about staying here, but are happy to report that we had a good experience. The room was clean and quiet. The wing we were in had been recently remodeled. Staff was very nice. Plan to stay again this month.
