Location was the only good thing.
Old facility so looks a bit run down. Sinks and surfaces were clean but floor was dirty. A walk around in white socks quickly picked up a lot of dirt on soles. Breakfast was a very poor continental breakfast and the coffee machine didn’t work, so no coffee. Sign damage from last years hurricane still not repaired, initially making you wonder if it wasn’t open.

The staff was friendly however the property was trash! The first room we had - had about (5) roaches - the (2) one we were switched to had (1)
Room smells of dog … trash can outside running over full and onto ground .. ants or some small black bugs in bathroom.. my husband seen Cockroaches
The hotel was dirty and When I was given a granola bar fir breakfast with no coffee I had enough. I needed to check out after 1 night.
As soon as we walked into the room, we knew the room had not been cleaned prior to our arrival, beds were done but that's about it. Floors not swept or mopped, garbage still full, no extra bags left, mirror piece on counter, window had a crack to the wall that you could hear everything outside, bathroom not cleaned. We only used room to sleep and shower but it was very disappointing in regards to cleaning it before.
The room was dirty, the bottom of my white socks were black as well as my wife's bare feet!
I can’t believe this hotel had roaches in the bathroom. Definitely not a satisfied customer of Orbitz.
LaQuinta’s have been a decent choice in the past, but this particular one really did not impress and choosing one again may or may not happen. The only positive comment I can say was the Front Desk staff did a good job. The outside area: was a little trashy. Trash under the stairs and oversized trash sitting there over a day. I don’t mind pets but there was dog mess on the rocks bordering the pool. Paint was peeling off in many areas and moldy spots as well. Inside the room: the door privacy switch did not work. Paint peeling on the ceiling. Light fixture was not working. Not enough water pressure in the shower. Shoe marks on the bathroom door. I also noticed that some people at checkin said they had pre-paid reservations but yet no room was available and were turned away. I reserved a room and paid as well. I was either lucky or can thank Orbitz. Overall, this location needs work and I would not recommend it to anyone unless changes are made to grounds and inside the room.
The staff was friendly but that was it. Dirty floors windows, bathroom. Letting dogs swim in the pool with staff watching. No breakfast.
Staff was polite and helpful and kind during the recent Cornavirus crisis. Rooms were clean.
The floor was a nicer contemporary laminate. The desk clerk was friendly in the morning, not so much at check in. The exterior of the hotel was poor; parking lot beat up and exterior doors in need of painting. The room was dirty. Ants and cockroaches were found. Bathroom light had dead bugs. The toilet had black showing under the tank rim and the toilet seat clout did not match the bowl. Grout in a very small bathroom was filthy. Overall very disappointing. Would not come back and will let everyone know.
The room size was good, but seemed a little dirty on the floor. Everything in the room worked fine, no other issues with our stay.
