Casa Loma Motel on the Waterfront

2.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Hotel needs some updating like air circulation in the bathroom! Towels were small and rough as well. That being said, the staff folks were very friendly and helpful.

The room we stayed in needed some updating and minor repairs.

My sister & I stayed 3 nights at Casa Loma - Jan 12-15, 2017. Rate was very inexpensive $75/night for 2 double beds, kitchenette, canal view. Wasn't sure what to expect but we absolutely loved the place! Room 215 was large & had a balcony overlooking the canal. Perfect location to see everything in the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area: 1 mile to the Cape Coral Art festival, 20 miles to RSW airport, 13 miles to Fort Myers Beach. Del Prado Blvd can be busy but the room was quiet on the backside of the building & very easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Staff was pleasant & very helpful. Overall, we loved our stay & definitely plan to go back.

A place that has almoust all if you do somthing with it. Terrable shape.

Hotel too near main road, noises from motorcycles and ambulance woke me up

Hotel smelled and was dirty. Could not stay as it was so bad. Stayed at a beautiful Holiday Inn. Still waiting to hear back from Orbitz. Said they would call to let me know if they could credit us, but never heard a word. Will never book through Orbitz ever again!

Hotel was good. Spent most of the time with family, so only there to sleep. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Nice little kitchentte, so we made coffee and toast in the mornings.

There were a few bad reviews of this hotel, but I think it was a great place. Close to everything and staff was very friendly!

Had a great stay staff was friendly and professional rates were very good

We had a water view room that was nice. Room was dated but comfortable and clean. We would stay there again. Had small efficiency kitchen. That was a nice feature.

Rooms dingy with stained, dirty carpet, furniture and walls. If you do go here be sure to get a canal room...at least you will have a good view out the window. Hotel is also on very busy street.

good experience convenient location friendly staff

Stayed in room overlooking the canal and swimming pool. Great sunset view. Would definitely stay again.

When we arrived in the room it was not clean at all, huge stains on the floor, dust everywhere! It just wasn't clean at all! Horrified I saw roaches as well. I went back to the front desk where, thank god I got a full refund and we were very happy that we could leave!!

Would not stay here again. The room was dirty. The carpets were the worst. Dirty and smelly.

The staff was really friendly and the room was clean. Its located close to restaurants.

Entire week was a delightful experience. Mgmt staff exceeded my expectations......

When we arrived the clerk was very friendly. The room was very out dated. The kitchen area looks nothing like the pictures. The room had dirty carpet and was just not clean. They never left the correct amount of towels and never changed the sheets all week long. I would not recommend staying here. Need to update pics to the true look.
