I need it a hotel in New Jersey that is why I choose this hotel. It is closed to the bus station but it can be tricky to get here if you have not seen the map. So I recommend you go to google maps to make sure you know where to walk. There are many stores within a few blocks. I also ran the Washington Bridge which is very near the hotel. The hotel is run down and need maintenance, breakfast is quite small. They do have a computer with internet.

Not recommended . Paid in advance for room, did not stay there and went elsewhere.

It was good for the price$$ nice and comfortable. Close to ny/nj .looks renovated.

The hotel is in a good location and has good connectivity to NY. You can find some fast food near by.

Room is really noisy. I feel sleeping in the middle of freeway connected to George Washington Bridge. This motel should not be listed here.

Price was good and location is good for NYC visitor. But close to highway and very noisy. Room is small. Staff was ok for me.

Room need insulated and maintenance. Poor door lock.

Over the course of my stay I had the opportunity to interact with three separate front desk individuals and all had negative attitudes. In fact, the cleaning staff was friendlier and more helpful than the people in the office. This isn't the Ritz and every little bit helps. Attitudes of the people in the office makes this place a last resort on my next trip to NYC - regardless of the location or price. The management of this place needs to have his staff take customer service class or something because they fail miserably in this area!

good hotel to stay at in nj for your money. however very noisy place because of the bridge.

it wasn't bad. i got a pretty low price for the room so I couldn't complain. The only thing I did not like was the small pieces of hair on the bed that definetely did not belong to my girlfriend or me,

Just to clarify, I'm not a picky person, I understand that you get what you pay for, and for me, it was worth it to pay $80/night to be a little far from Manhattan. But, I have to be honest, when a hotel is lacking on basic features and is as run down as this place, someone has to speak up. 1. The AC made immense amounts of noise. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the quality of the AC, but that it was clearly in need of service. 2. There were long black hairs under the top sheet, so it obviously was never cleaned/changed. Neither me or my girlfriend have long black hair so we know its not from us. 3. The waterflow in the shower was very weak and would not get hot. 4. The carpet was DISGUSTING. When you stepped on it, there were hairs, little bits of dirt, etc. on the floor. Obviously not vacuumed in a long time. I will say that the commute to manhattan really isn't that bad, so I can't complain there. Also, the highway noise is not an issue in my opinion.. and I'm a light sleeper. The thing is that if they just keep the place clean, work on the shower head and fix the AC, I would definitely stay here again, but not in the current condition.

Not in good repair or clean to feel totally comfortable to take off your shoes, etc. Internet signal was only slightly usable from the tub.

The heat was difficult to control and the toilet ran constantly, but the room was clean and everything worked. If you want to be close to NYC, and not spend a fortune, this is a great place.

It's near the highway so it's can be very noisy. I usually can sleep even with the TV on, but I couldn't have a good sleep here. The room was clean but the perfume smell was so heavy that made me dizzy.

The econolodge is just what you would expect it to be. It was in a relatively safe area, but the room was small, smelled of smoke even though it was non-smoking, and kinda run-down.

I was looking for a hotel convenient to public transportation that was inexpensive, but clean. This hotel was just fine. I'd stay there again. The accomodations are small, but clean and neat, and the staff was cordial. A good choice for a bargain hotel to use as a base of operations for being a tourist in New York.

We arrived much later than was planned; called ahead to alert the hotel and was greeted by someone very personable and efficient. Once we arrived that same person gave us a room that made my Mom very comfortable in short order. The microwave and refrigerator with small freezer was ideal for her needs. She's doesn't like to dine out much. The continental breakfast provided by the hotel and the A&P two blocks away was all she needed to enjoy her stay.
