We loved our stay at Snooze. Our room was great, parking was convenient, The Casablanca restaurant next door was fabulous and the location across from the beach was terrific! Matt was great!

This hotel is the reason I started my trip in Fort Lauderdale. I wanted to love it, and the "regular" rooms may be great. Under no circumstances should the bunk room be chosen. I thought the size was fine for two nights, however understand if there are any shower drainage or air conditioning issues, the small space quickly turns into a slippery mess. The door opens directly to the parking lot, allowing for any people walking by bang on your door. I had that, as well as other hotel guests, looking for assistance when No one on staff picked up the after hours phone (this hotel is staffed from 9am-7pm). I changed hotels after one sleepless night. The GM issued a refund, no apology, and an implication that it was my fault for booking the small room. Proper ventilation and security should apply to any room. I do not consider this unit safe for a solo traveler, though that is what is suggested for.

We were upgraded to a huge room with two king beds and a kitchenette. Right across from beach and walkable to decent restaurants. Ckean, comfortable, and quiet in the roim.

Great

The place is absolutely perfect, stay there every time in fort Lauderdale

The best thing this property has going for it is the location, as it is right across the street from a beautiful beach. It is surrounded by huge expensive mega-hotels, and there are cranes currently raising new buildings all around it. It is conveniently located within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly at check-in and check-out. Room was mostly clean, though there were several hairs left in the sheets. Our room was quite small, and because the hotel is right on the strip, it can get very noisy with the showy cars and motorcycles that cruise into the night. There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, just a small sliding window, so the humidity tends to hang in there and your wet clothes and towels won't dry. Probably the worst part about this place is the parking. It is very tight - so tight that we didn't drive anywhere during our stay because I didn't want to have to park again. Perhaps had we been driving our own personal vehicle (instead of a rental), backing out of the lot would have been easier. But in the morning, the housekeepers leave big laundry baskets in the lot, leaving even less space for you to back out. Other than these few minor quirks, Snooze was a good value and we'd probably stay again.

The view

For a place called Snooze, that is surely a difficult thing to do there. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever been on, and I was told that the mattress was only a year old. Zero water pressure leads to clogged toilets and terrible showers, where the water is literally dripping on your head. One person trying to tend to 19 rooms, so you have no idea when you will get towels, etc. Weird parking situation where you park in this tiny lot, and get charged $10 per day without that being disclosed. Hidden fees, and $6 per day charge if you keep your stay on your CC. Ooops, almost forgot the rooftop lounge, that doesn’t have a bartender or functioning bar. Total scam, stay away!

Perfect location

I liked the location and the ambiance. Room was small but clean. It matched their online ad. Price for on the beach location cannot be beat! The only thing I did not like was the "convenience fee" charged for using a credit card. If I had known in advance I would have had the cash amount.

Great location, great price. Matt at front desk was always friendly and helpful. Had everything you need for a day at the beach: beach chairs, coolers, towels and beach umbrella. Had a great stay!!!

Staff was friendly (front desk-Nick), check in and check out were fast. Extra security at night with the elevator to ensure guests only made you feel safe. Walking distance to food/nightlife and right across from the beach. Would definitely stay again

Very cute hotel. The front desk closed early but they communicated with us as well about our questions and how to gain access to our room. Very nice spacious room. Had a great balcony to watch sun rise. Nice location. Had sunblock, and toys for us to use.

This hotel is super clean! Front desk staff was super nice and informative. Right across the street from the beach. We loved the rooftop terrace! If you’re wanting luxury you won’t exactly find that here but if you’re looking for a nice, clean place to stay to visit the beach in the Ft. Lauderdale area, I totally recommend Snooze…

Great location!! Double King room was big, clean, and had everything we needed, kitchenette, fridge, microwave, plates, glasses, small dining table. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a good size, and Matt was absolutely amazing, along with his staff. Thank you Snooze for a wonderful, relaxing, three day getaway. We will be back!!

Super cute old-school motel. Oceanview room was beautiful and we loved the sunrise view from the bedroom!

Matt went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Great location!

Thank you Jeffrey for your review. I've shared your experience with the entire team and apologize that we fell short of your expectations. Effective today, my housekeepers will not leave anything in our parking lot. We also have added a double check system. Of course your sheets were changed but our machines can miss things like all machines. Either myself or my assistant will check all rooms instead of half. This will add more time but guest satisfaction is paramount.I know our parking lot is small and that's something I can't change. We do tell every guest compact car only and have on all sites that there are restrictions for parking. Something like a Sentra wouldn't be an issue. Tahoes are not able to park here.Half of our rooms are the economical standard kings like you had. They are great for saving money while being on the oceanfront. They are 220 sq. ft. The other half of my rooms are 450 sq. ft. with a ktichenette. Those start at only 20 more.In appreciation of your stay and to show you our changes, I would like to welcome you back with a one category free upgrade so you can see our larger rooms. Just reach out to me directly and I will gladly provide you with a spacious room and VIP service.Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. We hope to see you again soon at the award-winning oceanfront Snooze Hotel.

Hi David,I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. There are a few inaccuracies that I wish to clarify. Parking is listed on our website and you are texted it prior to arrival. I don't hide anything. We are a team of 5 for 19 rooms. We do stayover service daily. We tell guests there is an unmanned bar on the roof. I'm not going to have some poor kid in the 90 degree heat to serve 3 guests. You come to my office for chilled beer, wine, and champagne. We used to have rain shower heads. If you are the guest I am thinking of, when you politely came to me, we ordered 19 standard shower heads and have replaced the more expensive rain shower heads. If you tell me you don't like something, we fix it. No fees are hidden, everything is listed and told to you in person. Debit is room and tax, cash is a discount as you remember. We also provide free chairs, sunscreen, boogie boards, inner tubes, and much more.We take pride in our upfront policies and our property. A scam would be to not inform you. You were overinformed. If you had a bad stay, that's one thing but to act as though I am trying to nickel and dime you is not accurate and frankly offensive. You agreed to everything and now you are acting as though it was a total surprise. Please just be truthful.
