Mostly good things to say, enjoyed the pool and courtyard area and the exotic birds. Some of the neighbors were a bit loud, but mostly OK. Enjoyed the hotel "panther" - a stray black cat that was beautiful and friendly. (Keeps the rodents away).

OMG the worst hotel the room so old not clean at all. The phone in the room do not work. At nigth we heard a figth outside we was so scare. Please not stay there.

The experience on this occasion was not very good, because there was a lot of noise from the train past midnight. I also found small cockroaches in the bathroom cabinet

Great staff who are very nice and helpful. Very relaxing pool side experience.

The hotel says it's under renovations but we never saw anyone working. It was a fine room for wanting to stay in a cheaper location but wanting to get to the beach when we had a rental car. Definitely would not go back though because of the commuter train tracks that go right along one side. Every morning at 4:00 am and about every 15 minutes after I was woken up by the horn when the train crossed the road.

The hotel TV works and sometimes it does the not. The inter-net is very spotting and for business type people is very poor - parking is not always so secure

Room are old style motel types, room was all remodeled but cramped and only two bath towels for 3 people. No face towels. The AC had a mind of it's own, controls had no effect, came on and off at it's own pace. I had did a search on Orbitz for hotels with free breakfast and this one came up, no free breakfast, but McDonalds was across the street. The hotel has seen better days. However, they closed up kitchen at 10am and the bar shortly there after and we three had to leave, before we actually wanted to leave...the last three. Also, price on Orbitz was 81 or 87, for three, but with tax and fees and $20.00 for extra person, came to $123.00

The room have bed bugs. It's not a hotel it's more like a motel, staff wasn't friendly and the rooms were nasty.. Sad Case

I have stayed here several times in the past. Older, but kept up and clean. Richard on front desk was outstanding. He was very friendly and helpful .

Internet is very very poor and TV needs enhancement plus the ability to get coffee in the morning

In room: No hand towels or face cloths, only two bath towels. Bathroom was not the cleanest and appeared to have some shoddy repairs done. They don't give you soap and shampoo bottles, but have dispensers on the shower wall which would have been fine except that there was no soap or shampoo in them. Both queen beds were hard as a rock and squeaked terribly. A/C unit was old and noisy, it would run for 20 minutes, shut off for 5 or 10 minutes then run for another 20 minutes and so on. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine, needless to say we did not sleep well for the three nights we were there. Ate one time in the restaurant in the hotel, food was okay at best, but the bartender was excellent. Most likely would not stay there again.

Stay was fine but hotel definitely needs to be cleaned and taken care of better. Place was Run down

Horrible front desk.. horrible attitudes. She ( while batting her fake wings aka lashes as if she could take flight) was nonchantlant, rude, and unprofessional, though house keeping was quiet rhw opposite.. very helpful. Sheets were wet all the time.. asked about it and was told thats how the manager likes them. No clue why. Requested dry sheets.. never received them but got more damp ones. Requested to speak to the manager due to the bad experience. He was no where to be found. Advised he would call me back about the rude employee and the wet sheets, broken light, broken outlets, and broken TV. Never for a call.. a sorry for the inconvenience. Nothing. Then they took 7 full business days to return my deposit. Like I don't live in the county. Why ask residents for deposits? If we break something we live here, versus someone here that will leave and never be seen again. Smh. Point is.. 1st time.. it was ok. 2nd time not as much. 3rd time.. complete fail.

Stayed here over the weekend with my husband. We arrived at the hotel late, & both of us were exhausted. The first thing I noticed, though, was the underlying smell of mold & mildew in the room, as well as it’s small size. The bathtub was dirty, and we had to remove 2 centipedes from the bathroom. The carpet was stained. The walls in the rooms are paper thin; I could hear everything going on in the room next to us, and everyone walking by our room. The front curtains wouldn’t close completely, which was unnerving. It was very hard to sleep because it was really loud. The commuter train (the TriRail) runs right next to the hotel and would blow its horn at intervals throughout the night. The beds and pillows were lumpy and very uncomfortable. To add insult to injury, there was no soap at all. They have these soap dispensers in the room (like at a gym), but they were empty. There was a little bit of shampoo that I used to take a shower with. I thought this last part was a fluke until I spoke with the other people in my party – 5 others staying in separate rooms – none of them had soap. The wifi is super slow and the connection kept dropping. When I saw a staff person outside my room and asked for some soap, she said "Sorry, this isn't my floor. I can't help you." Last but not least, there is no security at all in hotel - none of the outside doors (including the stairwells and side doors) were locked. Anyone can wander in and out at any time during the day or night.

I been tru plenty lil hotels about but am sure these set will see me again

Our room was smelling really bad, our bed sheet was bored, the hotel is very noisy and isn't safe.

Our family 1 week stay was great. Jeffery at front desk was extremely friendly, he put the customer on the phone on hold and gave priority to the one that is in person.

More like a motel with a hotel-like lobby. Room was on the first floor, didn't feel very safe. There was a moldy smell in the room and the shower curtain rod was rusty. Fortunately it was only for one night.

I had no gripes about the hotel since the room was clean and the TV and wi-fi and everything worked. The lobby was well-kept and the restaurant looked nice, although I didn't eat there - it was open only Tues-Saturday, I believe, from 5-10 PM. The only thing that I thought was a bit odd is that the front desk informed me that even if you have a "do not disturb" sign on your door handle, that doesn't stop house cleaning from trying to enter. Huh? But the desk clerk said he would make a note that I didn't need service and said it would be passed to the house cleaning staff..but when I came back to the hotel after being out in town the next day, I found housekeeping in my room. So I called the desk and again was told that it would be passed to housekeeping, and this time my request was honored. No biggie...so I have to recommend this place overall. Waffle House is right next door too, open 24 hours.

Nice place rooms are updated . I even had a room upgrade which was great.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to write a review on Expedia. We are sorry to read about your last experience with us and are really disappointed to see that you did not fully enjoy it. We are under renovations, but we try to be discreet about it to not disturb our guests. On another note, we are pleased to read that your room met your expectations. Unfortunately, it is a situation that is out of our control. We are sorry for any inconvenience it may have caused you. Best regards, Marion T.
