My experience here was not what I was expecting. The initial check in was very reasonable, however, when I went to my room (404) I noticed the elevator was filthy, and the carpets had several stains all through the hallway. Then when I arrived in the room, I noticed there were very few electrical outlets and the fridge was so old it was turning colors. Not to mention the Television was extremely small for the size of the room. I attempted to watch a basketball game from my bed one night and was practically unable to see the scores because of the size of the screen. My biggest complaint was on thursday after returning from my business meeting, housekeeping never came into my room. I had to go down to the front desk just to get towels. When I mentioned to the front desk that no one had been there they were very understanding. Approximately 45 minutes later someone came up to the room, however they did not change the sheets to the bed, empty the garbage or put new shampoo and soap in the bathroom. So i had to make a second trip down to the front desk. These type of things did not give me the experience I expected of La Quinta.

It was pleasurable , convient and affordable. Nice location next to shops and restaurants

The entrance had the smell of wet ash tray from cigarettes. Trash around out side. The men's rest room looked and smelled like a primate cage. No T paper or hand towels at 7:00 AM. Noisy uncontrolled guests running down hallway. The Beding we felt was not clean.

The water pressure in the shower was too low & the a/c was very noisy.

Had to be moved from original room due to a leaking AC unit and strong smell of mold. Hotel immediately and politely honored our request. New room had a toilet device out of alignment. Had to hold the handle 2-3 seconds to get it to flush. Notified front desk.. Fixed the next day. AC unit plastic front piece loose, and rattled upon each start. Staff was friendly and the beds are comfortable. With a little upkeep this could easily be at least a 4 star hotel.

It was enjoyable and had no problems. Staff was helpful and accommodating.

It was not good a lot of strange persons hanging in corridors on floors and outside the hotel not feeling safe anymore Always stayed and recommended but not anymore hotel has changed a lot

The hotel was really nice, calm place to stay. Location is pretty good for the price i received. Would recommend and stay again.

Broken a/c, all night long 74+ F. Room smell like cigarette, microwave & coffee maker broken. Horrible experience. definitively I would never step in again.

was disappointed because I had an overlay and was charged for one night stay . Called ahead when I realized that I was staying over the time but was told I would be charged anyway.so I actually lost a night stay and paid for it not a good experience. Should have been offered a coupon for the one night I paid for instead.

We are from Jamaica and I am a top executive in a 5 star hotel and I must say that it was just as I expected. Spent our anniversary and had a wonderful time. what can I say you get what you pay for. we felt safe, it was clean and comfortable and the staff were great I have seen where persons are concern about cigarette smell yes if you are on the 4th floor where smokers are placed. I love the place and will definatly return

While it is not the best hotel around and not the best value for your money, it gets the job done. Rooms were clean and the hotel had all the basic amenities.

Nice Hotel, and nice staff. The location was amazing. You are near all the good place in Davie, for entertainment or business.

The parking is awful, but the room is nice and clean.

had a great stay. the staff were very professional.

Room was worn and had no ironing board. Building was worn down and side door entrance needed repair. Fitness center was dirty, no TV remote and no towels. Elevator operated as if it would break down. Another guest informed me it had already broke down twice. I won't be returning. Other options in the area.

not up to la quinta standards
