Plantation HS C/O '87 reunion: Great place, beautiful pool, very nice rooms. Well worth the price!

The hotel front desk had guys that didn't seem to be very helpful at doing their job. I feel bad for the girl that cleans the rooms, she clean all day long. Maybe their short of staff but we did leave her a big tip, she worked hard. But The sink and the shower floods and the floor haven't been mopped. I saw a used towel on the bathroom sink when I first came into the room. I booked for a pool view and I go a view of a long bush instead and a little of the boats. I was dissapointed of the place I chose this time to Florida but my husband was right. You should have read the reviews before hand. That is why I'm leaving this review.

I prepaid for the hotel when I arrived and they asked for a card to put on file i specifically asked if they would be charging anything to the card and was told no. I woke up the next morning to see a $300 charge for incidentals. After some talking I was able to get this reversed but not before it almost overdrafted my account. Then the day before we were to check out I was contacted by the front desk saying that there is actually a fee to park on pproperty. Mind you we have already been there the days.at this point I have spend the majority of my money allotted for this trip to be hit with a $100 parking fee. No additional fees were mentioned to me upon check in and I feel that they should not have charged me. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

I had a great experience. The hotal was a nice surrounded by a nice environment. Happy people.

My time there was well spend and great ocean view to live for.

check in was smooth after our cruise. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

I wasnt sure what to expect after reading some unfavorable reviews but I was Pleasantly surprised. I can only speak of the rooms near the Marina and not the tower rooms since my room overlooked the pool area. The exterior of the building is rather dated but the interiors are updated. My room had a balcony that overlooked the pool area as well as a courtyard with grassy areas for games, small receptions and they appeared very well maintained and family friendly. Room service was prompt and the food was on party with what you'd expect from a hotel. Parking was easy and you get in and out service which is a nice perk. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend for families.

Wonderful all the way around. Genuinely helpful. Fantastic meal at Pier 66 Grill. Nice start to the cruise.

Very nice grounds, and the location is perfect, midway between the beach and all the dining and entertainment choices on 17th St. The parking charges are steep.

Our sleep was interrupted by the noise, swearing, banging, and door slamming in the room next door. Our next door neighbor had some kind of situation beyond the Hotel staff control.

Awesome value! The garden/marina room was a little muggy/humid but not unbearable. The floor felt like it could need a little bit more cleaning but no visible dirt or mess.

A wonderful hotel with wonderful grounds, restaurants, bars & marina access. Was sorry to learn that the Pier Top is only used for private functions as the last time we were there it was a magnificent lounge with the best views in all of Lauderdale. All the staff were wonderful especially the front desk agent Yuqiao who checked us in. She was very personable, welcoming, fun & informative. Ricardo who is a bartender in the lounge/lobby bar is also very warm, personable, knowledgeable and friendly. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and very fresh& delicious. Pork sausage should be added on the buffet so it is just not limited to Turkey Sausage. Our only complaints were that in our shower there was quite a lot of visible strands of long black hair on the walls of the bathtub. Mind you we both are basically bald or (hair) folliclly challenged (to be politically correct) gentlemen with grey hair so we know it did not come from us. Also the pools are wonderful but the surfaces in all of them are very rough, somewhat quite uncomfortable to walk on. Also there are some steps leading into the pools that are quite drastically uneven, which could cause one to fall when entering the pool. Usually the cement around the pools is rougher than that of the pool floor surface well here it is just the opposite. So in our opinion the pools need a proper re-surfacing to make them more smooth. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend the hotel to others.

This has to be my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at anywhere! The room was huge and luxurious, as well as the bathroom. The pools were gorgeous and spacious. All the staff I interacted with were super helpful and friendly. They even have a texting service - they'll check in on you to see how you're doing and you can text them if you need anything at all!!! The location was great - about 5 mins to the beach and about 15 to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return.

Great price for a Hyatt. Had a great experience, really good staff, plenty parking

We stayed one night. Great overall experience. Friendly staff, nice accommodations.

We walked into the room and it immediately smelled of mildew. The carpet was stained all over and it looked like it hadn't even been vacuumed. The front desk was not helpful in directing us to our room which was not in the main part of the hotel. We were left to wander the grounds in search of our room. There were only three pillows per bed and there were 4 of us in the room. I would not recommend this hotel,

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised during our stay here. This hotel is more like a resort, not just a plain hotel. Plenty to do, tons of pools, and extremely clean. Our only complaint is the loudness of the AC in the room. Every time it turned in it was incredibly loud, even waking us up at night. However, I'd prefer that over a non working AC. We will absolutely return to this hotel on our next trip back.

My room wasn't ready so I couldn't check in early so I left my two bags with the bellman. However, I also left my wallet at front counter, but on lower portion. I left hotel and went to kill time at museum but couldn't get in because I had no wallet. Frantic, but confident. And it paid off. I called hotel and spoke with someone other thAn Beverley which was a mistake since the gentleman stated he didn't see a wallet on the counter. After tracing my steps though and still no wallet I recieved a call from the hotel 20 minutes later stating Beverley had found it. It made my trip that much better since it would have caused me much aggravation to cancel all my credit cards as well as try and get on plane with no I.D. Beverley thank you and expect flowers. The only negative was the shower had very little pressure. I would check that. Otherwise, the room was clean, the staff were nice and the pool was the icing on the cake. Thanks again.

I just stayed for one night with my husband and we were amazed. The place was beautiful and the amenities were perfect. Also, The service was excelent. I feel very pleased to have stayed at the Hyatt hotel.

we were not told there would be a charge for parking. they mentioned valet but not a charge. killed the whole trip.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations. Authorization holds are policy at all of our hotels as they allow guests to charge incidentals throughout the property to their room account. We do hope your travels bring you to the area again soon.
