This hotel has mandatory valet. You can't even pay the fee and park your car! The service was awful. I asked for coffee 2 times and they were not delivered, they totally ignored my requests. The AC was so loud, kept me up at night. I did not have a pleasant experience at this hotel, would not stay at Hilton again.

Booked a "city view room" and was told at check-in that we were given a "complimentary up-grade from a city view to a water view". Our "water view" was a small area of water by the shore under the overpass/drawbridge. We heard traffic and what sounded like a dumpster ALL NIGHT LONG! However, the room was clean and very nice, the lobby was clean, and the staff was polite & professional. The hotel bar could have probably been better stocked to accommodate a large party that evening...they were out of A LOT of things.

Great location and great staff. However, the place could do with some serious upgrades and cleaning. The corridors were dirty and we were greeted by this pungent smell when we opened our room. The room was dusty and window treatments seriously need replacing. One or two roaches came out to check us out, wanted to step on them (yeuu!) but they were too fast for me. Overall, the place has a potential to be a great place if the owners are willing to invest a little bit more. As for my family and I, we may not be coming back in a long time. Thank you.

This hotel is Not close to the beach..that's the first problem we paid 30/a day for valet parking, the hotel doesn't provide a shuttle to the beach or the mall that's about 3-4 blocks away..however they do offer a $26/per person per day water taxi.when we decided to drive to the beach ..there's no free parking there, so u pay..unable to eat breakfast at the hotel, we weren't willing to pay $22 for a buffet breakfast..Young not free or 1/2 price. The staff was excellent from the front door to the pool. The room great.I must admit the cookies were great they give u 1 when u sign in..I was interested in purchasing a small can to put my cookies in. Nothing fancy about the can ..it reads the Cookie by doubletree..that's it..nothing about location..and they wanted $10 for a tin can..Really..I'm a senior with minor disabilities..this hotel was not a fit for me..my daughter's didn't like the walking and the extra cost for everything..Actually they don't leave room for proper tipping,,the service staff were excellent and deserve to receive tips. .valet parking the staff was wonderful..but we really didn't want valet but u don't get a choice...

closet door handle falling off. very hard to get shower on/off and set to proper heat range. toilet runs all the time. dish washer is loose in the cabinet. a/c would not cool below 69. ran all of the time. flooring is very uneven between rooms and at least one kitchen tile is loose. the knob to control the refrigerator temp setting is missing. we found that out after my wife's unsulin froze. valet is overpriced

Very nice, stylish, family friendly hotel with experienced, polite staff.

It was very nice, clean, My wife and I liked the pool side bar.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Right on the intercoastal... watching the boats go by from the patio... absolutely beautiful! Close walk to the beach.. location was fantastic... only problem was you have to pay for parking.

I needed a place to stay close to the airport for just one night. The Valet parking at nearly $40.00 is very expensive, even for the beachfront hotels in Fort Lauderdale. Wifi is also an additional cost. All in all, it cost me about $100 more than the booking price just to stay one night because of the taxes and other fees. Room service was good. That's about all I got to experience on the property though.

Nice rooms and right on the river. Close to the ocean. Mall next door is not very nice. Go to sawgrass mall

My hotel stay was great! I did not like the fact that you had to pay for valet service. I stayed at this location many years ago and there were no valet parking. SMH!

From the time we drove up until we left the customer service was great. The room was perfect for my 2 kids and I and the kitchen and table gave us plenty of extra space.

I would recommend this hotel! Staff is very kind and professional. I came down for a wedding, and I think I picked the best hotel. I had balcony view and skylight. It was amazing. Breakfast isn't included, but I just walked down to the Starbucks down the street (I couldn't bring myself to buy a $16 omelet in the hotel restaurant).

It was nice for a few nights. It is right in the middle of ft Lauderdale beach and about two streets up

very nice, good location, two blocks from the beach. if you arrive by car parking is add $25.00 day + tax + valley tip. overall I would come back again...

Great location at a great price water taxi is the only way to tracel

One block off the beach, ocean view, awesome staff plus the room was a suite to boot. Love! The only negative thing I could say is the carpet could have used replacing but that's minor compared to what you get!

Spacious room, nice pool, not too crowded, great for midweek stay, weekends are very busy.

Room was clean, and comfy. Smaller than other double tree suites I've stayed at, but nice none-the-less. Price was appropriate for the quality of the room (mid-range). Couple of minor issues: Valet is forced, and $25. This is too high for people not buying a cheap room. This overcharging trickles down to even a small bottle of Zephyrhills water (a courtesy in most places) being $4.27 (!!!) ... this is not imported fancy water mind you. There are just certain things a hotel shouldn't overcharge for as it leaves a bad impression even if you're a millionaire. That and no free WiFi. I did plan on getting bothered by the above issues, but chose to ignore them and enjoy the nice location, clean room and fun time. I likely will stay here again if there are no better deals popping up close by. Just bring water and your own cell/modem.

They did not have the room we paid for. The room they gave us had damage and problems with the A/C. They switched us and our next room had the glass in the slider coming out so you could not use the slider in the livingroom.
