Carpet in room was disgusting, stains on walls and ceiling, cobwebs on ceiling, mold in the shower. Best western needs to visit this place and stay a nights. Room has such a moldy smell. Never again!

The a/c unit omitted an foul odor. The carpeting was very old and dirty. The couch had multiple stains on it. The tub should have had a bar in the middle of the tub to hold on to as the tub was slippery. The location doesn't afford a nearby restaurant to walk to for dinner.

This hotel was adequate and less expensive than many others for an overnight stay between arriving at FLL and a cruise out of Miami the next day. There was a free shuttle from FLL to the hotel, but it involved a long walk from SWA baggage claim to the shuttle pickup area, and then a long wait for it to arrive. The staff at check-in and check-out were friendly. The room seemed to have been cleaned, but there were significant mold stains on the grout around the shower and the beds were both saggy with big valleys on the side next to the nightstand. Breakfast was crowded but I was pleased to see multiple staff people replenishing food and cleaning up. Checkout was a zoo, with many people and their luggage waiting around for the hotel-affiliated cruise port shuttles.

The location of the hotel is good. The cleaness of the room was dissapointing. The bathroom sink was dirty. The ice bucket was dusty. The carpet was dusty.

Nice hotel for the price. Would be nice if the had a few more restaurants close by.

Very tired, old hotel, the staff was not friendly in the reception. Carpets were dirty and smelly.

Staff slow and rude. They jyst ignored me standing at the counter. Not all but many. Hotel not very clean. Noisy on highway. Free shuttle to airport. Goid feature. Pool terrible. Cab to hotel so expensive. Cheaper going from airport to downtown hotel. So just stay in comfort downtown.

The outside of the building would lead you to believe everything is new, but the inside of the rooms are worn down. After I opened the door to the first room, the stench of cigarette smoke, of which I am highly allergic too, is obvious! It should be noted that the hotel says it doesn’t allow smokers in their hotel. So I asked and got another room, no problem, but carpet in this room was still ratty. Nevertheless, my feet itched a lot after walking on it! In the bathroom, there was what looked like a blunt next to the toilet that was never cleaned! Finally, I would add that the free breakfast saved my less then pleasant hotel room experience. Also, last thing about smoking! Don’t put benches right in front of the lobby entrance with cigarette butt collectors if don’t want nicotine addicts to smoke in your face while you wait for a shuttle bus. I understand this is s free country, but people can themselves at the back of the building in a designated smoking area away from the rest of us. To remind folks , there is a reason people get cancer on account of this nasty addiction in which the paper used to manufacture these things is treated with small amounts of cadmium and arsenic.

This hotel had low cleanliness standards and failed to meet even those. We hesitate to use Best Western anywhere else because of it.

I travel allot for work and I want to say the staff at this facility was fantastic right from the manager on down!!!! Traveling all day I was dead tired and needed a little more help than usual.

This hotel is in a great location. Close to food, shopping, airport, cruiseport, attractions. The breakfast is phenomenal except for one thing. A lot of people complained that it ends at 9 AM and when people are on vacation they don't want to get up early. Otherwise, everything was great.

We drove to Ft Lauderdale for a 5 day cruise and stayed at this hotel the night before. We were able to get a shuttle to the dock and leave our car in the parking lot for a modest amount. Staff were very helpful and facilities were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Oldish hostel. Bed was soft. Tv didn’t work well. Staff was ok. It’s not that close to the airport.

Great location if you want to beclose to the airport/cruises, free shuttle to/from airport, free breakfast and wifi

I reserved a smoking room as offered. After check in the hotel informed me that they no longer offer smoking rooms. They said Orbitz should have informed me of this change. Had I known this I would have made other arrangements. They don't even have a decent smoking area. If this was indeed Orbitz' responsibility, then they should have contacted me, or the hotel should have informed me before I was fully checked in. They were also about to give me a room with one bed, I requested two.

Everything was great. Inside of hotel could use alittle updating... but not anything that affected our stay. Staff was very cordial and helpful with any questions we had. They even went out of their way to provide us with an "early morning" goodies bag since we left earlier than when the breakfast was being served. Would come back !
