It was by far the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. No kids running up and all the halls at all times, no drunk people coming back at 2 AM slamming doors. Also the staff was very very nice in the main lobby area and dining area were very well-maintained.
Staff is so friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to many things. My wife and I liked the layout of the room. The facility was clean throughout.perhaps the thing I enjoyed most was the hot breakfast. They had a good selection of foods that tasted good.
Awesome stay. Great staff, great breakfast, great evening socials with tasty food, salad bar and alcoholic beverages.
Only issue was an out of order elevator. 5enother elevator was quite a distance away.
It was a nice facility, but the pool small and overly crowded
I loved the kitchen and the layout of the room. It had everything we needed without feeling cramped or on top of each other
Nice new hotel! Best hotel of our recent 2 week trip! Bed had great pillows and suites were very roomy. The breakfast was upscale from the usual chain hot buffet. I will seek this chain out in future!
The hotel was well kept and clean. The complimentary breakfast everyday and dinner (Monday through Thursday) saved money on restaurants, which was nice. My only complaint was a loud party at the firepit, but the staff made them stop at 10 pm.
Wonderful hotel. Exceptional staff. Great evening reception & breakfast. Only suggestion is the pull out coaches are very uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel & would stay again.
Very friendly manager, welcomed us in and checked us out and very professional. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There morning complimentary breakfast was amazing, so many options hot food and cold. Highly recommend
My daughter and myself were here for my father's 80th birthday party. We were at the Hilton for 6 nights and had a tremendous experience. The room was very clean and was kept clean by housekeeping, everyday. The little kitchenette is so incredibly helpful for extended stays. We went to the grocery store and got our favorite drinks and snacks for the week and had plenty of storage as well as a full size refrigerator to keep things cold. Matthew, Cassie, and many others at the Hilton were so helpful in many ways. I accidentally left a very important and extremely private book for work, in the safe. Matthew retrieved the book from the safe and overnighted the book to me the very next day. I was so grateful!! My father described the Hilton Staff like this, "They're a first class outfit all the way!" I couldn't agree more!

Not only were the accomodations wonderful but do was the staff. We were there for our grandsons graduation. My husband was ill & passed away while we were there. The staff & managers were so compassionate & helpful. They truly went way above & beyond. I am so very grateful.
We have stayed at the Homewood Suites in Decatur many times while my daughter attended Millikin University. It is always clean and, contrary to most other hotels in the area, smells fresh. The breakfasts are wonderful and they serve a complementary dinner Monday thru Thursday. There is also an outdoor patio/B-BQ/fire pit that is a very nice amenity. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. There is not a single thing missing that would make a stay more enjoyable. The Homewood Suites is usually one of the more expensive hotels in the area but, in my mind, well worth the additional cost.
We were in town for the weekend, and absolutely loved the hotel. Clean, quiet, spacious, indoor pool, wonderful breakfast, very safe and secure. Would definitely stay here again!
Easy check in and check out. Desk staff was very courteous and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Room was very nice although items left behind by prior visitors made me question how thorough the room service is and if the room was really as clean as it appeared.
Excellent breakfast and weekday evening supper snacks. Observed the waitstaff being extremely helpful to children. The second day (after check-in) their was loud drilling in the adjacent room, but hotel refunded our fee for the night, so that worked out satisfactorily. Entire staff was always helpful and friendly.
