Great experience. Food was mediocre to poor but staff was excellent and hotel was very clean. Beautiful views.

Lots of upgrades st the hotel. Love the hammocks and water toys. Room was upgraded to a suite!! Awesome sauce!!!

Most of the rooms if not all have a view of the ocean and included in the price of the room are most of the water activities. The rooms are totally brand new, tile work and furniture very trendy, the staff is very friendly. Worth the money!!!!!

EVERYONE treated us like "family" Secluded from the typical resorts seen from the roadside, this resort made you feel like you were on a tropical island paradise. GREAT CONCEPT and PERFECT execution to detail!

The hotel looks renovated, but the air conditon and plumbing is very loud in our room.

We stayed for one night on our way to Key West. Immediately wished we were staying longer. Considering a return trip for a longer stay. Beautiful surroundings. Loved the balcony, and the pool was beautiful at night. Walked the beach in the morning and got beutiful sunrise pictures. The complimentary breakfast has a good selection of food choices. The only complaint is the rooms are not well insulated from noise. I was kept up most of the night listening to the people walking and talking in the room above. Sound seemed to echo.

The hotel was comfortable, very nice rooms. Lovely view. Hotel breakfast was a little disappointing, could have been better.

Great place. Great staff. Great time. So much to do there. Would go back.

Fun and easy. Staff was very nice and the room was perfect.

Loved all the activities that are included in the very low resort fee.

The rooms are beautiful. They're large, very modern, yet have a stark white beach vibe with colorful photos on the walls and triangular wooden bedside tables. We loved the large balcony overlooking the ocean as well. However, we went on Labor Day Weekend and the hotel was busy. We had to stay on the first floor when requesting a room on a higher level but this did not change the quality of our stay. The staff was very friendly and for how busy it was, it was pretty quiet.

We came in on Memorial Day weekend and Pelican Cove Resort had the best rates of anywhere we inquired. The room was a corner room and very spacious as was the balcony area! Upon check-in we were very warmly welcomed at the front desk and every morning they had muffins, danishes, and juices, coffee, hot tea and fresh fruit as well. The Tiki bar had good food and great drinks, the pool very nice. We meet a couple during our stay from Coral Springs and spent the next few days together dining and hanging by the pool. We enjoyed fishing at the marina right on the property and thought about renting a boat but prices were up because of the holiday. Over all our stay was very relaxing and will return again in the future!

Unfortunately I did not review this hotel when my memory was fresh. As best I remember now It had no table of any kind in the room, the refrig. did not work because it was in a cabinet and overheated, there was no nightstand on one side of the bed and only a tiny triangle of one on the other and we could hear the family next door. The entire experience in the hotel was terrible. We will never stay there again and would not recommend it. The manager told us they were waiting on more furniture. If the rooms were not ready, they should not have been rented.

We have stayed at this resort 3 times in 2014. Looking forward to returning this summer.

It was a great place to unwind before the long trip home.

Great hotel just next to the Famous Tiki Bar . Great for family or romantic gateway. in the middle of all the Entertainment and activities

First off the hotel is under major renovations, so call them and see where they are at with that. The website says they have an ocean view hot tub, didn't exist. The room was on the small side but was amazingly clean and very cute. It did not have a chair, a small desk, or even a table beside the bed. We literally had nowhere to put our drinks, resulting in 3 spills and 2 broken beer bottles. We were given a wrist band to be able to utilize the facilities next door, which were awesome, so this almost made up for everything lacking. Overall nice stay, will stay again when everything is fine being worked on. Location is perfect for Islamorada, directly behind Theater of the Sea.

The hotel was recently renovated and it has a very nice earthy tone. The bar and restaurant were under renovation, which was not that great, cause we had to go to the next door hotel - 5 minute walk - to get food or drinks. Despite that, the value for the money paid was great. I'd recommend.

Have stayed here a few times...and once since the needed reservations...which by the way are fantastic! Great views, friendly staff, walking distance to Tiki Bar.

Stayed prior to renovations....definitely needed and I've stayed after renovations....well done! Great location!
