The room was not clean smell like smoke bugs being clawing on my skin I check out as soon as I check in

Hotel is conveniently located close to both old town and new town. It has an excellent viewof and walk along the bay.

The hotel was clean and easy to get too. There was no additional charge for parking and no hidden fees. The continental breakfast was good, with the only warm item being the self-serve waffles. Most of the attractions are, however, on the other end of Key West.

We checked into our hotel room an d were met with a strong mildew scent as soon as we opened the door to our room. I didn't even have to go inside. We asked the front desk about it, and he cut us off before we could finish our sentence - as if it is a recurring problem. He told us he would send someone up, and after waiting about half an hour, a kid came up with a bottle of soapy water and started spraying around the room. This did not solve the smell. We had to drive into town to get our own bottle of Febreze, which we used to mitigate the smell. Also, when we turned the bathroom fan on, something started smoking and set off the fire alarm. When we tried to call the front desk from our room phone, it did not connect (no ringing, the phone just went dead) They have a pool and a Jacuzzi, so I guess that's nice. Not exactly the best $500 I've ever spent.

Did not stay downtown because friends were at Marina but was still a drive away. Recommend to our friends because was half of great hotels for cost

I understand "location, location, location" but for the amount of money we paid the A/C didn't work, there was no fridge and not even a clock in the room. The breakfast was a cold one. The room has not seen basic maintenance for a long time much less improvements. Many major gaps in the bath tile grout, Holes patched with excessive globs of caulk. Its obvious that the owners will bleed this place to death and then sell it.

I was looking for a place for four nights in Key West, and being a frequent visitor to the island for the last thirty years, I knew a bit about lodging. I was on a very tight budget. I knew this property had been renovated, and when a good price popped up, I reserved it. First, the positives. The staff was always helpful. The room was nicely redone with updated furnishings. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked fine. Bathroom had nice tile on the floor, and on the walls. Tub and shower were good. The room was small, but in addition to the bed and armoire, there was one nightstand another end table, 2 lamps, and a chair. Unfortunately, housekeeping saw fit to only leave one hand towel and one washcloth (but two bathtowels) for two guests. The huge disappointment was the carpeting which was absolutely filthy. There's a word I don't toss around a lot. Filthy. Our feet were black from walking in the room. I don't know if there's a health standard, but surely, this would fail.

The hotel is clean it just hasn't been updated in many years. The doors don't seal at all which allows outside air to flow in easily creating a very humid room.

We stayed at the bay side in and my experience with the hotel was great it was close to everything. I would recommend the Hotel to any one.

Staff not friendly or welcoming at all! Room has an old musty smell, blow dryer did not work! We saw a roach crawling on the wall on the 3rd night, 4th night saw another, plus I woke up itchy and with bite marks! We were supposed to stay 7 nights, we couldn't do it, we checked out that morning! When we went to check out front desk did not even ask how our stay was, or why we were checking out early!!

very cosy suite very confortable quiet environement

The rooms are a bit small and have no refrigerator, but for a short business trip of 1 or 2 nights, this was perfect..... And the best priced hotel in the area.

Staff at checkin was terribly rude and couldn't find our reservation. Room was filthy and the shower/tub had actual dirt and someone else's hair in it. Bed was comfortable (though linens sucked).

We were in Key West to take ferry to Dry Tortugus national park. This hotel is great value during peak holiday season. Will stay again at this hotel when visiting Key West.

Overall the stay was good and the staff very friendly. The outdoor bar was a disappointment. Was closed down and hadn't been opened in a while.

Hope to be back again some day. The staff was very inconspicuous but available. Just the right touch.

It's key west, hotels are crazy expensive. This one is a lower cost hotel. Don't expect fancy. The service was excellent.

Staff was amazing. James at the front desk could not have accommodated me any better. Convent to everything, but not walking distance to party areas. Will definately stay there again. Easy to get to your local captains for off shore fishing. Can't wait to get back !!

Compared to the cost of other hotels in Key West, Bayside Inn was a great bargain. The suite was big, very spacious, it was quiet and clean. Would stay here again.

After riding from Key Largo in the rain the last 16miles in the rain, the hotel was welcoming
