The rooms are all one story and ours had a kitchenette, two queen beds, two chairs and a dining table. Each room has a screened in patio with privacy walls on the side. Two pools which were refreshing and a hot tub. The place has updated Guy Harvey decor, yet you still have the Keysy feel. Great location on the ocean. We will stay here again.

This is the second time I've visited the Islander. All of the rooms are basically the same, situated in different buildings. Some are quite close to the water, but you should confirm that with the desk when reserving. I thought I had reserved a room the second visit, and had even called and messaged the front desk, and they assured me that I had the room that I wanted. Upon arrival, they had moved me to the back of the property (i.e. closer to the extremely noisy Overseas Highway). I was not happy about it, and they informed me that because I booked through a 3rd party (i.e. Orbitz) nothing was guaranteed. However, I continued to express my disappointment in the room, and they ended up giving me a room closer to the ocean than my original request. The hotel manager went out of her way to resolve this issue.

Great place to stay. Clean and relatively updated rooms. Kitchenette is nice to have to avoid eating out all the time. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Only complaint Is the constant blowers, weedwackers, chainsaws and front end loader running back and forth on the beach and pool area. Not very calming or relaxing the 3 days we were there. But, the grounds are meticulously kept but at a price for peace and quiet.

The room was very nicely accommodating with a full kitchen. The grounds are huge!

Could use more umbrellas around pool area. Grounds could be cleaned up a little more. Ice machine was non existent

We come down in a group about 10-20 people(with lots of kids)and usually get all of our rooms together or near each other. The Islander upgraded their air conditioning units since our stay last year. The kids enjoyed movie by the pool & the adults enjoyed the feast for 4 special on movie night. Rooms are clean & wifi works well. We stay here every year for the last 4 years for mini season, definitely recommend this hotel. We love that everyone has a full kitchen.

Stuff was extremely helpful and friendly Good location All amenities Good food

This is my third year staying at this resort and we will come back again next year!! It is situated perfectly along the Keys. The fishing dock si great to see and catch many fish and sharks from. There is a great bar across the street we watch the susnset from nightly and listen to the live music. The resort has a bar and nice pool area. We really enjoy this place.

Love the location! The dock is perfect for fishing. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who loves to fish

Got a good deal for this hotel. This resort hotel has a nice facilities. Love beach areas. Good location between Key West and Miami.

This was our 4th time staying at this hotel & the only time that we had a complaint. When we finally got into our room there were dark marks on the carpet & the door closure on the screen door was just hanging. I would have thought that a good maid would have noticed & notified the front office of the problem....not rent it out to another guest. Hotel is in a great location in Islamorada. Hotel also has a wonderful pool area with two pools & tiki bar. We will return.

Had a great time we really enjoyed the pool. My son couldn't get enough if the iguanas. Loved the location!

We only stayed for one night but I'm already anxious to plan my next visit. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the grounds were beautiful and very well maintained, the room was quite spacious, clean and well appointed and seemed fairly recently renovated. Also, bonus, it's directly across from Lorelei which is one of my keys favorites. Would DEFINETLY recommend!

Beautiful Hotel with all the extras a family would need for a Great Family Vacation!

Had a great time fishing on the long pier every night. They have convenient waterspout rentals on site and a nice bar and pool. Lorelei's across the street has live music nightly and a bait shop is located across the street also to get some frozen and fresh bait. The location was ideal. It was nice to have cooking facilities to save a little money.

Great location! Comfortable rooms. The only complaint I have was housekeeping. It was very inconsistently cleaned - we had to visit the front desk to get the most basic things like towels and soap. They also skipped our room for cleaning twice. There is a huge language barrier when talking to housekeeping and they are not very friendly. Despite this aspect we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Not what expected as the photos of this place show for the standard courtyard lani with a pull out couch and separate kitchen and eating area. Actually it's one large room with the kitchen and bathroom sinks across from each other, two double beds, and a table with 4 chairs, no separate areas at all except for toilet and tub area. It has nice screen porch and lots of storage area. They are in the process of changing it to a GUY Harvey resort as it has not been renovated yet. It will be nice when complete. You are not allowed to take coolers, food or drinks to the pool area which we were disappointed about as the drinks and food at the resort are expensive. We wish they would have offered happy hour as we ended up going across the street to Loralies!! All in all, we had a good time!!

Clean rooms, awesome staff! Beautiful pool area and lots of on site activities!

The view from the hotel was beautiful and everything was very nice. Only complaint was the beach was not soft sand and you had to wear sandals to walk on it. Other than that I'd go back!

Great location, wonderful beach, helpful staff. My family and I had a wonderful time. The Islander Is the place to go to have fun and also relax. Restaurants on site as well as walking distance. Pools, bar and a live band playing while you swim or you relax on the beach. Water sports for rent.
