Staff was excellent! Nice layout. Nice pools and jacuzzi. Great staff. Great location. Glass bottom boat access from hotel as well as scuba diving tours.

It’s just ok. It was clean. Beds were comfortable. Rugs stained.

The pool area was beautiful. The water temperature could have been a little warmer but pools were clean and refreshing. The room was not as expected. The beds were comfortable but overall the room was disapointing with unpleasant smell and large stains on carpet.

The pool area was very nice. The location good. Staff were pleasant, professional and helpful. The room was clean but in need of upgrades. The bed was very comfortable but the room could be noisey, the counter level of the vanity/sink area was too low, only 1 available outlet for use ifor hairdryer, flatiron, iron, phone charger. This made things very inconvenient. The shower pressure was great but the area was small. Between the toilet and tub it was difficult to even open the bathroom door. The hotel has lots of potential but rooms are in need of upgrades.

All of the appeal of this hotel can be had almost anywhere in Key Largo. Old facility with some refurb (some time ago). Simple adds would be to put some more USB ports in the room. Love the Key Largo feel, but still way too expensive.

Nice, relaxing place. Pool & pool bar as well. Places close by to eat, shop, snorkel etc. They could step up their game & offer a decent continental breakfast is my only complaint.

We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed with how run down the facility was. Definitely needs updating to stay competitive.

Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. The pool area was fantastic to lounge and relax and drinks and food were easy to get from the tiki bar. Perfect location if you want a sun drenched vacation by the pool.

Our visit was the week before Christmas and there were very few people staying at the hotel..which was great! No noise, no waiting for tables at restaurants or problems making reservations for sailing trips. We were the only couple on our sunset sail (which we booked at the docks that boarder the hotel) to enjoy a spectacular ending to a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The hotel is what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. Comfortable bed, nice TV, clean and enjoyable outdoor space-pool, Tikki bar, lounging areas-some with overhangs to keep you out of the summer sun, and a polite staff. Draw backs: No microwave but did have a refrigerator, and the carpet was damp from the humidity buildup so we had to always wear shoes. This was GROSS!

We road tripped from Massachusetts and our final destination was Key West. We stayed in Key Largo for a night and we were pleasantly surprised! Big room, super comfy bed, could charge everything to the room card...tiki bar by the pools and jacuzzi. It didn't seem like many people were staying here which meant peace and quiet! Restaurants close by...it was a good find! If I find myself in Key Largo ever again I will be staying here.

Breakfast was not included in the room rate, there was no elevator to the 2nd floor, the air conditioner was broken

It was a great weekend! Felt comfortable in the hotel, pool, marina. I would definitely return. Thank you!

We often stay at this spot when we travel to Key Largo. This last time they upgraded us for free without us even asking. They only asked if we would like to be upgraded to a marina view balcony room if we preferred it. This added to our overall pleasant stay. The staff is always friendly and in a good location. Skippers and Sharkys are great spots for food and drinks very close by. Clean and comfortable rooms.

We chose the Holiday inn because of the location next to the marina because we were on a diving trip. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. Rooms were very clean and come with a small refrigerator which was helpful for keeping snacks and such to take on our dives. Our rooms were on the back side of the hotel and that was ok for us as we weren't spending much time at the hotel on this trip. When I come back with the family I'd ask for a room facing the courtyard where the pools are. There are two pools, a small hot tub, and A nice Tiki bar. The night Bartender Pat was a great guy and can fill you in on all the local lore. Another Bonus was a laundry room right in our building. Because it's right on the marina, you are within walking distance to the major dive operators boats. It was nice to be able to just walk from the room, straight to the boat with our gear, and not have to find a place to change or mess up our car with wet suits and equipment when we were done. The Hotel is centrally located in Key Largo, and there are several conveniences within walking distance such as cvs pharmacy, Divers Direct (next door), a convenience store (with a dunkin donuts), and again the marina for fishing, Diving, and other tours like glass bottom boat trips. Mostly everything is on the same side of US1 and I wouldn't recommend trying to cross that road on foot We only used the hotel restaurant for breakfast when we weren't diving, and it was very good. I've read some of the negative reviews and will say that there are only two floors and if you need an elevator to climb 1 flight of stairs then simply ask for a room on the first floor. There is no beach at the hotel, however there are very few "beaches" on the keys anyways. Learn up on the local ecosystem before you go and complain about not having a "daytona beach" on the keys, that is no fault of the hotels and shouldn't be held against them. All summed up For the price, a nice clean, SECURE, quiet stay with plenty of amenities to make a week stay comfortable. Everyone on the hotel staff was friendly and helpful and I will be coming back for a non-diving family trip.

My son and I had a wonderful experience in Key Largo enjoying the near Caribbean atmosphere of "NO WORRIES". The weather was spectacular, diving excellent for all levels of experience, and fresh sea food to die for. In fact right down from the Holiday Inn thanks to the recommendation of staff members you'll find "The Fish House". A must do! Our stay at the Holiday Inn had all we needed to begin and end our day. Sitting out doors during January having coffee, orange juice and the breakfast buffet with a warm breeze blowing is my way to begin the day. We used the pools and jacuzzi to unwind after a day of diving. Of course the tiki bar and live band may have contributed as well. The property is well maintained and safe. My thirteen year old required distant supervision only as I felt the hotel was safe and secure. Staff members were available at all times and very pleasant as well as helpful. The grounds were well cared for adding to the enjoyable stay. Our room was comfortable and clean and the staff understood the need to be available but not intrusive in their daily cleaning and arranging responsibilities.

For just your standard run of the mill holiday inn, this hotel is very expensive and not in a particularly nice locations. But it was all we could get at short notice.

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel was very nice, the pool and hot tub area was well cared for. There are many things to to close by the hotel or within a short drive.

room was adequate. no frills, noisy in am, maids making too much noise as they gathered to load their carts for the day. Overpriced for age of the facility. would be a good deal for $150.00 a nite max.

Plain and simple, this hotel met my needs at a nice price. I booked too late for a friend's wedding to get the group rate, but this hotel was a good alternative.

I arrived late around 10pm. The gym key is not working so the staff had to come and open the door for me. The hotel is no near to the beach. It has a huge pool tho.
