We really enjoyed our stay at Cheeca! The rooms are big and spacious and they have everything you need. The grounds are so nice and clean. The 2 bedroom suites have a small kitchen- which is really nice. Highly recommend if your going to Islamorada!

Great place in the Keys. Wonderful King suite with kitchen. Superb restaurants close by. Beautiful clear ocean water. Loved kyacking in the calm waters.

Our stay was great! They gave us an early check in, and they did not have a "resort fee." Also, there was no extra fee to park. I'm not a fan of hidden charges I was very pleased there weren't any! everyone was very personable and helpful. We were very happy with our accommodations! My only disappointment was our dinner at Atlantics Edge... we made reservations for a special dinner with our teenage children .. we were all dressed appropriately for the type of restaurant described in the brochure. We were unhappy to be seated next to a large group (dressed in t shirts/ bathing suits) they were loud at times and had people off the beach stop and talk several times. It was a very expensive meal, the food was fabulous! The wait staff was perfect! The atmosphere did not fit the prices on the menu. When we come back we are unlikely to spend the money to eat at Atlantics Edge. We will be back!!

enjoyed our 3 night stay; resort is beautiful, except for the salt water lagoon

Impressive entrance and friendly staff. You had me at champagne at check-in. Room was spacious and interesting, nice furnishings. Comfy bed, nice bathroom/shower. Our view was of one of the golf course holes, would have preferred the beach/water. It was noisy, a lot of trucks and maintenance, not sure what was going on, maybe just maintenance of the course? Tiki Bar was fun and good food. Also had a great breakfast in the main restaurant. A little pricey but typical resort prices and good food and service. Grounds are lovely. Dock is beautiful. I would highly recommend this resort.

I originally chose the Hilton up the road but friends highly suggested that we switch to the Cheeca Lodge. They have visited the property for years. We loved it.

What a wonderful place and a wonderful stay! Staff, the grounds, I hate to say more because I want to go back next year without arm wrestling someone for a room!

We were offered an upgrade upon arrival ( $40 per night) Room was pretty nice, spacious, clean, very comfortable beds. We were told about a jacuzzi on the balcony but it was just a giant tub with no jets. Beach was terrible , lots of seaweed and shallow that it was impossible to swim. Free beach lounges were available with a cabana that one could've asked for. Basic kayaks were free, but paddle boards and water bikes were available at additional Cost. Free water bottles, but everything else was ridiculously expensive . Cappuccino was over $6, for something small and average. My breakfast sandwich was $10. We ended up going to the places around the hotel got lunches and breakfasts. We had 1 dinner at the hotel, at the steakhouse, we both ordered fish, but mine was undercooked, so they took it back . It took so long to get a new one that I was eating alone as my friend already finished with the meal. Wifi was terrible as well. It was easier to use my own data, because neither emails nor msgs were sending. Neither to say I also couldn't watch my Netflix either. To make everything worse we had to pay an additional amount at the check out. Nowhere in my reservation or during the check in we were informed about a resort fee. $45 per day.

The hotel itself is wonderful. Room very clean and comfortable. No resort fee, and the grounds are lovely. Not much to do outside of the resort, but there is plenty to do once you are there. Will definitely be coming back, it is a very beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

Great time had by us. Great comfort, good food. Little pricey on the food side but that's the keys for ya.

This place is located approximately half way between Miami and Key West, so it is a good place to stay and then drive to the multiple attractions in the Keys and then get back at night without a long drive. Very tropical settings, very good rooms, good restaurants and plenty of things to do if you don't feel like leaving the place. Be aware though that you will be charged a daily fee of $39.00 for resort amenities whether you use any of them or not.

Beautiful accommodations and loved being greeted with champagne from Karlyn concierge. Even had complimentary fruit cheese platter sent to the room!

Staff was very friendly and did many things to make my trip special

Staff everywhere, gracious, polite. Would recommend this hotel to honeymooners, to just a weekend getaway .

I convinced my friends we should cut our annual vacation in Key West short so that we could explore other destinations located in the Keys. I found Cheeca Lodge and Spa online and WOW did it impress. The room was spacious and the bathroom made us all just want to stay in the room and take baths. Unfortunately, we could only stay 1 night. We definitely plan on making this part of our yearly trip.

Beautiful facility tucked away off main street. From our California Bay Area perspective Spa and restaurant prices a too high, and needed to buy a spa treatment to use lockers (per brochure)! Excellent yoga class, bike use, and internet included with use fee. Very courteous and helpful staff.

Very romantic place for our honey moon. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I go to FL. And my friends asked me about this hotel after they saw my pictures.

Our stay at cheeca was great! The rooms and hotel were really beautiful and clean. Food was great which is definitely a plus for us! The pool was nice but wasn't great and same for the lagoon which is extremely small. We ended up laying in the sun on their "beach". Everything was really great I just didn't love the pool.

it was well worth the money great view friendly people

For the most part the hotel lived up to it's description and ratings, with only a couple of complaints. The Jack Nicklaus par 3 golf course is a glorified pitch and putt, and the greens are not maintained to any kind of good putting standard; for non-golfers only. While the front-of-house staff were great, friendly, welcoming, professional, there were some back-of-house problems, primarily in the cleaning department. Nothing I would complain about normally but when paying more than $300 per night your expectations rise accordingly. Overall great stay, I don't give maximum stars often, but this did get close.

Thank you for your review and we take your feedback to heart. We are dismayed to hear about your experience at our restaurant, and will pass your feedback on to our team. We are currently making improvements to strengthen our WiFi signal around the property and these will be completed by the end of 2016. Again, we thank you for your feedback and hope you will give Cheeca another chance in the future.
