Hampton Inn Key West FL

Breakfast was mediocre at best.very little fresh fruit, just bananas and oranges. One morning the the bananas felt as though there was a liquid inside the peel.

Quiet & away from Duval St. Unlimited water bottles, 2 complimentary drinks per day, shuttle to Duval St., food & cocktails were awesome at the bar. We will be back! Had a wonderful vacation & the weather was perfect!

My only complaint would be that the parking spaces are narrow. Everything else was very nice.

This property was super quaint and beautifully designed. Had free parking and breakfast too which was great. Not to mention, it was conveniently located by Smather’s beach and just a few minutes from Downtown Key West, which made getting together and from places very manageable. My one qualm is that the bed in the room I got was SUPER uncomfortable and sunken in like a boat. It was so bad and sunken in like a boat, I probably wouldn’t go back because of it that. I was really surprised about this given the price per night. Management should seriously consider replacing the beds. Besides that one piece though, it was a great stay overall.

I went with my mom and my two teens. The girls were disappointed that the advertised gym lacked any working equipment. There were a few weights. My mom and I were disappointed that the “complimentary” drinks card gets you the most revolting margarita with orange juice but won’t get your kid a virgin Piña Colada. The pool was gorgeous but be forewarned there are planes regularly flying overhead which initially startled me. The pool is a lovely amoeba shape overhung by palm trees. The temperature of both air and water was perfect. To get into town without a car, you have to rely on the hotel shuttle, which runs every 45 minutes, or pay for a taxi or Uber. You can’t really walk anywhere except a couple restaurants near by. I’m the person who arranged the trip and chose this hotel pretty disappointing overall. I understand KW is expensive but the cost of the 4 nights here was not reflected in the facilities or amenities Details like the v unexciting breakfast may not seem deal-breaking but they add up to a bad experience. I would never stay here again though we do want to return to KW.

The view and the quiet of my room

I liked the ocean view, the pool with tiki bar, and the complimentary breakfast was really good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

I would not stay here again. The pictures and description misleading. There is no beach access near the hotel. It is a main road, sea wall, and then ocean. On the back side is the main airport with airlines flying over the hotel every 5 minutes. We paid $500 for nothing! I spoke to several other guests that felt the same and wished they could get their money back. Don’t stay here.

The staff was amicable and accommodating; however, there is a need to provide better quality room towels representing the Hilton. Our housekeeper was excellent and friendly, and she worked with the tools she had and could only follow the hotel's protocol. My point is that full room service requires 24-hour notice; otherwise, you make up your bed and only get trash and towel service. This is ok if you only want limited service. The manager introduced himself, and I discussed my displeasure with the full room service request criteria. I liked the breakfast choices. The breakfast staff was very friendly, and they wanted to ensure we were satisfied. You are next to the airport, and it sounds like the airplane's take-off is right over your head. We got used to it (I think). It is loud!. The hotel egret bird is beautiful, but make sure staff is assigned to immediately clean the poop off the outdoor eating tables. Overall good stay.
