Nice and comfortable place. No luxury, but clean and nice. Staff was great and professional gave us great recommendations for things to do. Has a nice backyard overlooking the bay. Sunset was amazing. Next door was a great bar/restaurant kind of sharing the bay view. Easy access to anything. Few places within walking distance such as Walgreens, bank, restaurants, liquor store.

Want to pay cash? Dont try it here Have a problem at night? Office closes at 7 pm You will be charged FIFTY dollars if you dont turn the keys in at checkout Want to leave early? EVERYTHING including the Office wont open till 9 am Garden view? Not so much. We could see the propane tank. Windows had not been washed since last hurricane One was broken and hurricane shutters would not open Someone wrote "wash me" on the other SMALL trickle of water at the bathroom sink Dont wear white socks and walk around your room - forever black Beautiful weather, Palm trees, and sunset. Does the hotel get credit for that? This is an HONEST review and I dont recommend staying here Stay here ONLY if you are on a STRICT budget

I had 2 rooms for my crews while they worked down in key largo. One crews stuff was removed from their room mid stay and left outside on the curb for ZERO reason. Their food they had just purchased to eat later when they came back from the job site was stolen. The hotel argued instead of immediately figuring out the problem, blamed it on my guys somehow. They ended up putting them in another “nicer” room but still. We will never use them for our work trips to key largo. I’d rather spend double the money than go to this place ever again.

Very nice, no complain.. Price is reasonable for a weekend in Key Largo FL

Place is rundown. Second day there, water turned off. Only a slight trickle of cold water in the shower. Housekeeping is,a joke. Only emptied trash and brought some new towels. Office doesn't open until 9 a.m. and closed at night. There were some very unsavory people staying there. One room had a woman and 3 guys. 3 cop cars came while we were leaving to go out to dinner. Later when we came back, this guy was sitting in a chair outside their room looking like he was having a seizure of some sort. Other people were just sitting in doorways. Felt unsafe staying there. Having paid over $600 for 3 nights was definitely not worth it. Saw one guest in hallway who said he complained about no water and was cussed out by the manager. Heard another guest yelling by the pool area that for $500 they expected a lot More and housekeeping was terrible. After water came back on, all gunk came up in bath tub and it was very slow to drain. My husband enjoys coffee in the a.m. Used coffee pot first morning. It was never cleaned and no fresh coffee packets after that. Since lobby didn't open until 9 a..m. went across street to Burger King and bought our own.

We arrived to the hotel 45 mins before our check in. We attempted to check in early but were informed our room was not ready. ( which was no problem, we were early) we were instructed to come back later. The women behind the counter was not friendly. I felt like we inconvenienced her because we asked if we could check in. We walked around the property an got food. We came back an hour later, now that’s 15 mins after our check in time. ( we didn’t know if it was busy, so wanted to give the staff extra time to finish up the rooms. We enetered the office to check in, no one was at the counter. After about 2-3 mins a voice screamed from the back be with you shortly. Once the girls were done giggling an story telling in the back we were greeted and finalized our check in. Our room was under par, the dirt on the inside of the windows was so thick we could not see out. That initial sight just made us feel as if the entire room was dirty. My wife did not even shower in the facility because she was grossed out. We will not be back for another stay!

The hotel definitely needs updating but is a great value for a quick weekend in the keys when you are out and about in the area.

There was no beach. Characters at the hotel were shady. There was no view of the “garden” as the windows were covered in shades that did not allow us to see anything.

Rooms are filthy. The property has not been maintained . The location is wonderful .

4 of us had two rooms for 2 nights, Rooms are okay, but the staff could do a better job of cleaning. Other than make the bed, that was about all the staff did to clean up during our stay. Does have a unaffiliated Tiki bar (Snook's on the beach) just a short walk from the hotel, where we enjoyed the food and drinks along with the friendly and accommodating staff. About 100 miles and 2 1/2 hour drive from Key West, which was our destination, but not many rooms available south of Key Largo due to hurricane Irma damage.

The bath tub was filthy! No water pressure from the shower!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is no beach and the pool is very small. It is near the water on the bay side of the Key. It was more than adequate for myself as a solo traveler. The only disappointment was that the tv service was very limited. I would recommend a better cable tv provider or package. It is near the bus stop for traveling to the other Keys. And it is near a large marina on the ocean side which offers various excursions. And there are several restaurants nearby as well. A strip mall and drug stores are also just across the road. The room was nice but very basic and that was fine.

Room was not cleaned after the first day, the hotel was dirty . The only good about the hotel was the bay view

The motel is showing its age, but overall the value is very good. The rooms are large, clean and great beds. It has a pool and beach and pier area right on the bay. What a sunset. It's not a give star hotel, but you will be hard pressed to do better in Key Largo for the money.

Checked in to find tools scattered about by a handyman (who also had availed himself of the bathroom and not flushed) The staff defended this by saying that they shouldn't have checked us in a half hour early even though the job wasn't even close to being finished. The new room was just as seedy with broken fixtures, filthy windows, blown light bulbs and walls that looked like they had been patched repeatedly and poorly. Bathroom was small, dingy and had a loose toilet seat and light switch. The pool was tiny and unheated with the only redeeming factor being a view of the gulf. The lounge chairs were moldy. We would never stay here again as our fellow guests agreed wholeheartedly.

Rooms need updating. I liked the dock and right next to Snooks.

needs hotel rescue, this place could be really nice with just a little bit of work . chairs by pool HORRIBLE, so called exercise room a joke, room needs to be updated, bathroom needs work. landscaping is fine ,view is great snooks restaurant next store is a plus, not worth for the money we paid

Bayside Inn overall was ok. It's location is the best part of the hotel. The rooms are run down and really need some work. The hotel staff were pleasant. We would probably stay there again if the rooms were remodeled.

GOOD FOR NICE SLEEP AND LOCATION AND FOR SMINIG ACTIVITY

Our guest are able to pay cash. You can simply leave your keys in your room if you would like to leave earlier than the office opens. ALL of our other facilities are open to our guest before that time as well. You did book a standard room, but if you would like a better view our Bay View rooms offer fantastic views! However these rooms are in high demand and do require an additional cost.

Thank you for your honest feedback Jennifer! The Keys are coral islands and therefore all beaches here are man made. The rooms with the best view are our bay view rooms. They have amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico where the sun sets!
