Bayside Inn Key Largo

There was no beach. Characters at the hotel were shady. There was no view of the “garden” as the windows were covered in shades that did not allow us to see anything.

Rooms are filthy. The property has not been maintained . The location is wonderful .

4 of us had two rooms for 2 nights, Rooms are okay, but the staff could do a better job of cleaning. Other than make the bed, that was about all the staff did to clean up during our stay. Does have a unaffiliated Tiki bar (Snook's on the beach) just a short walk from the hotel, where we enjoyed the food and drinks along with the friendly and accommodating staff. About 100 miles and 2 1/2 hour drive from Key West, which was our destination, but not many rooms available south of Key Largo due to hurricane Irma damage.

The bath tub was filthy! No water pressure from the shower!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is no beach and the pool is very small. It is near the water on the bay side of the Key. It was more than adequate for myself as a solo traveler. The only disappointment was that the tv service was very limited. I would recommend a better cable tv provider or package. It is near the bus stop for traveling to the other Keys. And it is near a large marina on the ocean side which offers various excursions. And there are several restaurants nearby as well. A strip mall and drug stores are also just across the road. The room was nice but very basic and that was fine.

Room was not cleaned after the first day, the hotel was dirty . The only good about the hotel was the bay view

The motel is showing its age, but overall the value is very good. The rooms are large, clean and great beds. It has a pool and beach and pier area right on the bay. What a sunset. It's not a give star hotel, but you will be hard pressed to do better in Key Largo for the money.

Checked in to find tools scattered about by a handyman (who also had availed himself of the bathroom and not flushed) The staff defended this by saying that they shouldn't have checked us in a half hour early even though the job wasn't even close to being finished. The new room was just as seedy with broken fixtures, filthy windows, blown light bulbs and walls that looked like they had been patched repeatedly and poorly. Bathroom was small, dingy and had a loose toilet seat and light switch. The pool was tiny and unheated with the only redeeming factor being a view of the gulf. The lounge chairs were moldy. We would never stay here again as our fellow guests agreed wholeheartedly.

Rooms need updating. I liked the dock and right next to Snooks.

needs hotel rescue, this place could be really nice with just a little bit of work . chairs by pool HORRIBLE, so called exercise room a joke, room needs to be updated, bathroom needs work. landscaping is fine ,view is great snooks restaurant next store is a plus, not worth for the money we paid

Bayside Inn overall was ok. It's location is the best part of the hotel. The rooms are run down and really need some work. The hotel staff were pleasant. We would probably stay there again if the rooms were remodeled.

GOOD FOR NICE SLEEP AND LOCATION AND FOR SMINIG ACTIVITY

The place is kept up good. Older but clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was typical continental and they put it away right at 9:30 am not a second longer.

I like it for the room is good attention to the room is good

One of the dirtiest hotels i have ever been The Rooms had a horrible odor The poolside chairs were so dirty that they were black

The room had peeling paint coming off the walls, mold in the corners, closet door off on track, freezer not defrosted, cobwebs, holes and tears in lamps. I had 3 night stay, I made the front desk aware of the lack of cleanliness. She came to look at the room and switched my room. Not any better. I asked for refund and to check out 2 days early. She said I needed a 24 hour notice. I informed he again of the condition of the room and she called the owner and let me leave early with no penalty. I was told not much done since 2005(katrina). Not going back there.

Dirty room.bath shower didn't work.toilet was clogged but no one was there to fix. Bed sheets smell badly. Breakfast horrible.

Location was close to where we wanted to be. Room in need of major renovations and cleaning. Bugs in bathroom. Beds were horribly uncomfortable. "Beach" it advertises is a dirty small lagoon. On site bar was the only plus. Continental breakfast was super dissapointing, only muffins available. Staff was friendly but didn't seem like they wanted to be there.

Front desk very rud person , not good! Only good people the cleanning ladies !!

Thank you for your honest feedback Jennifer! The Keys are coral islands and therefore all beaches here are man made. The rooms with the best view are our bay view rooms. They have amazing views of the Gulf of Mexico where the sun sets!
