I spent one night with some colleagues in this hotel The location is not the best in the area and it used by big group of tourists to visit Florence The structure is recently renewed, so the accommodation is good even if I did not like the design As usual in Italy the breakfast is disappointing, again juice from concentrate, disgusting
Advertises Airconditioned Rooms. This is dishonest because although it appears to be installed IT IS TURNED OFF throughout the hotel. Surely this is fraud! I was told to "open the window". It's just as hot outside and plus there's traffic noise ALL NIGHT from the busy main road right in front. Restaurant jammed up with some huge noisy party. Given 3 mins to choose evening meal. There was only two items so that wasn't hard. Chose one of each. Not impressed with either. Very cheap and cheerful. Staff generally helpful but not very motivated. Won't be coming again. Oh! The wifi is fine by the way, if that's your priority. Chose between dual carriageway at front or industrial estate at back. Good luck!
This hotel looks like a 2-star hotel. Very dirty rooms, struck walls, cracked and dirty, dirty bathroom and gray towels, very cold in the room and no air conditioning, very poor breakfast. All of these problems at the reception had no resolve! I would never come back to this hotel!!
The hotel is newly renovated. However, the room's amenities was bad. They use portable air conditioning. It could not work properly. When I want to call the Receiptionis, the phone in my room didn't work either. It was too bad for us. I walked through the receiptionist, she promised that the techinician will repair it quickly. After waiting, nobody came to our room. I must walk AGAIN to receiptionist for second complain. After repairing, the AC portable gave noisy sound. As consequence, we couldn't sleep well at that night. For breakfast, there was only just few selections. And they have some menu WITH EXTRA PAY. It's ridiculous for us. The staff at that time didn't tell us when we picked the fruit and cake slices. But, when it has been in our plate, they told us that the fruit and cake slices must be pay separately. Overall, bad experience and definately will not came back again. Bad service!
The rooms were very spacious and well appointed the hotel was clean and well run the desk staff were very helpful and friendly The location wasn't the best but that's not really the hotels fault it was well located for business though and there was a train station at the end of the road straight into Florence. In summary great hotel, not so great location.
Our group was served very differently. We were not informed on regulation for breakfast that we apparently 'MUST' show up at the same exact time. We were moved from our table for the reason that we must sit on the same table as the rest of the group, but was rudely ask to move. Because NONE of the seat were cleaned, we decided to move to the table beside the group and were rudely told to move again, yet she didn't start cleaning any of the table. Secondly, we were not offered coffee or tea and told to take it ourselves, but the rest of the guests in the restaurant was approached very nicely and offered AND served with coffee and tea. They treated us very poorly compared to others. I asked to meet the manager and he/she is not in yet so the front desk offer help so I told her the matter but she barely take it and protect the staffs and blamed us instead. At the very end, she told us to write letter to the manager where in the beginning she said she will help with the matter. If she could not help she should have offered us to write letter to the manager in the beginning. I DO NOT recommend this hotel especially if you are coming as a group. They DO NOT TREAT EVERYONE FAIRLY. €5 for wifi Extra €3 for hot chocolate which apparently is not included in the breakfast. It's not worth the money. There are plenty of hotels out there that offer more facilities and MUCH BETTER SERVICE. The employee standard is low and they are not equipped to help solving problems.
Was on a organised tour recently, so stayed two nights at the hotel. The first impression at the lobby was "Wow, this hotel looks nice". But once we went up to our rooms, we are totally disappointed. While the room and bathroom were spacious, the furnishing looks old and the there were really lots of cracks on the wall. Whenever someone flushes their toilet, we can hear a weird thumping sound from our bathroom. The aircon was not really working well, which made the room either stuffy or too cold. There is not free wifi and we have to pay for it. The signal strength was not good and intermittent.
used by bus tours. able to cope with large influx of people. staff polite and friendly. my room was really big - entrance with place to store suitcase. large bathroom, big bath with the shower over it and double sinks, and a very nice large bed. very well set up. lots of colour in the foyer. friendly bar staff and i recommend the aperol spritz. nice with lots of choice breakfast suitable for varied tour groups
This hotel is located in an industrial zone almost 30 mins to Florence center. Average rooms and breakfast. I will not complain any of this. Rooms were really big and clean. So, for a short term trip this hotel would be a good value for money. BUT I had really one problem which made my trip not so nice in this place and most probably I wont visit this place again. On the front office there was a very rude staff (named Joseph - not sure if his name is written like this). This person definitely needs education or shouldn't be in service business at all. He does not know how to talk with the customer and moreover he is not telling the truth to the customer. If this hotel can get rid off this staff I believe this place can be an option for your trip in Firenze with the average service and budget balance they provide.
Had been to this hotel for 2 nights as a part of Tour package. The hotel is situated near an industrial area. Rooms were OK. To my surprise I observed some mosquitoes in the room at night ( managed to kill all of them by towel). Photo attached. The internal floor standing AC is provided in the room. Also they charge 5 euro for Wifi, which is a disappointing factor in today's scenario. Definitely not upto the mark.
