I stayed at Hotel Globus about 2 months ago. It was my first stop in my Italy visit of multiple cities. The hotel was located downtown right in the heart of Florence and you had access to transportation anywhere you wanted to go. It is walking distance from the train station where a lot of tours/activities leave from so that was great. You are few minutes walking from all the main attractions and restaurants/cafes. The staff was great!! Super nice and friendly. I dealth with two people for our 2 night stay, a male and a female with curly hair (don't remember the names). They were both very informative and very professional. I think the lady was doing a double one of the days because I saw her one whole day there and she was so friendly and nice despite her long shift. She even called our next hotel in Venice to tell us the best way to get there and got us specific info on what ferry to take and how to get around town. Super nice so thank you for that. Their breakfast had lots of variety and extremely fresh. They offer a snack around 6 or 7pm everyday which they serve beer and various snacks like cheeses, chips, pretzels and some cakes. The rooms were extremely clean. Shower was very good size. The rooms aren't the biggest but they are definitely spacioius enough to put bags and sleep well. Beds were comfy. Absolutely no complaints and will definitely be back when I make it back to Florence.

Hotel Globus is the best. Rooms are clean and updared. Location is prime- plenty of places to eat and close by to the train. Staff is awesome.

Hotel is under construction during the day but that didn't interfere with our stay. Very warm and welcoming staff. Good breakfast. Hotel is central to all the sites and nice to have central market close for dinner as well.

My friends and I went on a post-graduate school graduation trip and this hotel was perfect! The staff is kind and accommodating. It is very clean and very safe. The hotel is modern. It was perfect!

At first i was worried because the hotel is located in a somewhat dodgy and dark area. But once inside the service was excellent. The desk clerk, Nick, was exceptionally friendly and professional. My room was not yet ready (it was before check in time) but he promised to get the room ready soon. I was so impressed with his professional service skills and delivery ( i have been in hotel operations for 40 years), which are so rare overseas. He was helpful throughout my short stay. He is a credit to his property and my next trip to Florence will most assuredly be at this property

Good location. There were a lot of restaurant close to the hotel and there are a lot of attraction in walking distance.

I booked Globus based on the convenient location, and the positive reviews. The hotel exceeded my expectations (especially considering the bargain price) -- great wifi, very helpful staff, a complimentary cocktail hour, and spacious rooms!

Hotel Globus is in a perfect location in Florence. It was close to markets, restaurants, tourist attractions, and train station. I would definitely choose this hotel again despite the small hotel rooms.

Nick, the manager is very helpful. The hotel is on a block labeled area pedonale, or pedestrian zone. It is right around the corner from the Central Market. Very close to the train station and the Duomo. Breakfast was lovely.

It was the best hotel bc of staffs they were so kind

Hotel staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. The room was clean and comfortable. Very accessible to all the tourist attractions.

I found the value for money to be excellent compared to other Florence properties. Staff was particularly nice, and I think is one of the biggest selling points. Be prepared if you get a single--they're very small, but still comfortable.

This hotel is very well located. Staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast and wifi. We would certainly plan to return to this hotel another time.

This room was competitively priced and in a great location to explore Florence on foot. The staff were very friendly at the hotel.

This hotel is really close to the central train station. It was an easy walk to all the tourist attractions. The neighborhood was safe and there were lots of great places to eat nearby. The breakfast had a good variety and the staff there was very attentive.

After getting past the flight of stairs to get to the hotel, overall experience was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and in order. Great value for location. Not in upscale area, but walking distance to great sites, train station and shopping . For the price I would certainly stay again.

Two of the three front desk staff were outstanding in terms of friendliness and willingness to help. The location is about two blocks from the train station, making it easy if you are using Florence as a base to sightsee in the area. (Sienna, Pisa, and Chianti are easy daytrips.) It is not an upscale neighborhood, but it never felt unsafe. Two flights of steps lead to reception so be prepared (no elevator!). The coffee and croissants at breakfast were good, but little beyond that. The biggest downside: the room and bathroom we had (classified as a double) were uncomfortably small. If you only want to stay one night it may be sufficient. Any longer, not so much.

For the price, I wasn't expecting too much, but I was very impressed! The room was small, but very comfortable and very clean. The staff was one of the most friendly of all of the hotels we stayed in. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

Overall good experience. .. friendly staff and the location is close to the train station and walking distance to all the sites. Only negative was the smell in the room...room 102. Its a triple sleeper.
