This hotel was quite lovely the staff very helpful, the room comfortable and quiet. The drawback for me was paying for wifi. Not only did I feel that it was expensive for a long stay, but the quality of the signal was bad and did not allow me to easily switch back and forth between devices. I say they need to fix this... it can't be that great a source of income for them. So I recommend it with this reservation.

A nice hotel. Renovated. Clean rooms. I wish they have a better wi-fi. It is not good. I would recommend this hotel.

Perfect location that is close to train station and the florence food market and the street vendors selling crafts, leather goods, misc.... Close walk to the duomo dome and historic square. Friendly customer service. The rooms were a little outdated and not as comfy. Wifi was 10 euros for a week or pay by the hour. Breakfast was included and was pleasant. But visit Pank in the food court upstairs for great pastries and grab coffee there as well.

The hotel is very near to Santa Maria Nouvella, which is really important if you are thinking to visit another cities nearby to Florence. The hotel is clean. The breakfast is fair and complete, and the staff is always open to help you. I recommend this option because the price is the value of the hotel. The bathroom is also pretty clean and have a room service that is good.

Relatively inexpensive and does the job for 1 night.

The hotel receptionist was rude and was mumbling to himself angrily when we asked questions about the internet. He was downright insulting and unprofessional. Even though this location is convenient, I regretted staying at this pathetic hotel. The rooms were dark and dreary with deep green bed coverings and a mustard painted room. Terrible tasteless decor! The bathrooms were crampy and planned terribly- the water splashed out from the shower leaving a muddle everytime on the bathroom floor. Since the reception was so rude I asked the hotel bell boy/supervisor?! for help. They changed the shower curtain which helped a little.

The hotel has a very pleasant (almost swank) lobby but pls note that the rooms are EXTREMELY utilitarian (no windows/outside light/ no décor on walls, no tissues in bath). I could not recommend this hotel if you are planning on spending a lot of time in your room. That being said, we slept well, breakfast was plentiful and served elegantly. Front desk was helpful and you are extremely close to the market for leather goods and the produce market. Hotel is one or two blocks from train station.....very close to all major sites.

Nice place to visit. Close to everything and save during the day, market beside the hotel.

Nice hotel in a great location. Close to the train terminal and other attractions so easily made a day trip to Pisa. Had vendors right outside of my second floor window, but with the window closed, was not an issue. Breakfast had a great selection of food items.

I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a hotel in florence. The location was very close to the train station and we are able to walk to everything that we wanted to see in Florence from our hotel. Staff was very helpful when needed. The breakfast was very good. Rooms were small but very clean.

This hotel is within a very short walking distance from the train station SMN (Santa Maria Novella). It is also within a short walking distance of the major must see attractions like the Duomo & The Uffizi Museum. There are several great bars, shops & restaurants at its doorstep. Best of all there is what we would consider a flea market right on the side street of the hotel where you can purchase some quality leather goods & trinkets for great prices! (Make sure you walk around first before buying anything as some stands have better pricing & you can haggle too.) The hotel staff are very friendly & helpful. The rooms have older furnishings but are well kept & the room was very clean. They also had some really good english channels which helped tremendously as I have insomnia & watching TV is the only thing that helps. Our rate included breakfast which was great! Good selection & very tasty. The only negative about the hotel is that there is no free wi-fi. You have to pay depending on the amount of time you want. Other than that, there is nothing else negative about this wonderful hotel. I would highly recommend it & will stay there again when I visit Florence again!

This hotel has a great location to train station and major attractions. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Unless you enjoy sleeping on concrete the bed was deplorable, we tossed and turned all night. (there are multiple hotels up and down the streets near the station)

This hotel was in a good location, but we were disappointed. First of all, our room smelled musty/sweaty the whole time we stayed. I tried to spray some Febreeze and it helped a little bit, but not enough. The hotel lobby area is very nice and matched the pictures, but the rooms did not live up to the pictures. They looked similar, but the rooms in the pictures are very well staged compared to what you get. The breakfast was just okay.

Room was unusually large for an Italian city hotel. Quiet room, clean, sparsely appointed, and no WiFi in room. Helpful and polite desk staff.

The hotel is located on a prime location, in the historical district of Florence, on a short walking distance to all major visiting sites of this incredible beautiful city. The hotel amenities are OK, but pretty frugal for the price. They offer WI-FI, for 10 Euro per week which is only few dollars more than the daily fee of 8 Euro. The rooms are clean, but pretty small. The surrounding heavy street traffic, is very noisy, but the rooms facing the interior patio, are surprisingly quiet. The breakfast is good.

It was convenient, staff were wonderful. The room with access to the outdoor terrace provided the extra space which made our space most comfortable. Once we learned the bus and subway system we could travel throughout Rome. Free wifi and access to a pc was an extra plus. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel was centrally located and staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and plenty of seating. The room was comfortable but the bathroom could use some renovating. Overall it was a very good experience considering the craziness of the area and the number if people they try to accommodate.

Centrally located hotel, spacious room for 4 people. Very clean. Nice staff. Decent breakfast. Once drawback is that over weekend it was noisy at night due to proximity to bars, restaurants, etc.

When I walked up to the hotel, I was thinking that I had made a big mistake. I needed a place to stay just for the evening that wasn't too far from the train station. I was pleasantly surprised. The interior was much better than the outside. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable complete with a safe and refrigerator. Unlike other rooms that I have had in Italy, I appreciated having a shower with full shower curtain. The floors are tile and were clean. Breakfast was hearty with the traditional breads, cold cuts and cheese. Ordered a cappuccino which was far better than the "American coffee". The location was fantastic. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the train station, 1 minute to the markets and the Basilica San Lorenzo, and 10 minutes max to the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery.

We had a very nice stay @ this hotel. We stayed with our 14 yr old daughter in a 'triple'. The room was very clean. The breakfast was great with a big variety of options, including fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs, rolls, croissants, 3 - 4 different pastries, rolls, and breads. The location is ideal; within walking distance to The Academia, The Uffizi, the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, the open market, the leather market, etc. much shopping and many many restaurants. We walked everywhere all week, never took a cab. My parents will be visiting the same area in the Spring and will be staying at the same hotel.
