This hotel is centrally located and offers excellent access to all the major sites, the staff is friendly and so helpful, but the rooms are too small! We required two rooms and stayed in a Classic Double and a Superior Double for four nights. We couldn't unpack the suitcases because there was nowhere to put the clothes. We could barely get around the bed on the side close to the window and we are small people. There was barely any counter space in the bathroom. We found it difficult to stay here and ended up leaving to stay in an apartment a 12 minute walk way because we became claustrophobic. It was too bad because the service at this hotel was outstanding. Light sleepers be warned that you can hear the noise from the street, at least from the lower floors, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Breakfast buffet wasn't great. Just had the basic items, and leaned more toward sweet pasteries. There was no egg or pancake station.
The hotel, staff and amenities are first class. Just a block from the Duomo, the hotel offers a nice sanctuary from the crowds. The rooms, bath room and size were fantastic, as they upgraded us to the Brunel suite on the top floor with its own staircase above the 5th floor. It is like a small apartment. All of the front desk staff were fantastic. Great experience.
A MUST stay. Center of town. Easy access to everything. Fantastic restaurant. Friendly accommodating staff. Especially Simone and Paulous. There was NOTHING we could ask that they couldn't help us with. A complete luxury hotel experience. I can't praise them enough. Right from the greeting to taking our leave they made it an experience of a lifetime.
What a perfect hotel with so much class and style , best location probably in all of Florence with a charming atmosphere and very beautiful decor . The staff were just fantastic especially front desk men Simone and Paulus they went above and beyond for my every request and made our stay flawless Rooms are clean and big with lovely art and decor Food was great also This is a must stay if in Florence
Located only a few streets away from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, this award winning, family ran Boutique hotel, is ideally located right in the heat of this amazing city. Our trendy modern room overlooked the court yard restaurant. Parts of the hotel date back some 1500 years, but don’t let that put you off, the building has been sympathetically restored and given the 4* treatment. The staff are polite, knowledgeable and more than happy to help make your stay in the city an experience you won’t forget. The Hotel has its own bar and offers a good choice of menu for all meal times, Free Wi-Fi is available along with Valet Parking and Pets are welcome in some rooms.
This wonderful property is built around a tower that is the oldest building in Florence. We stayed in the Tower section in two adjoining rooms - our kids in two twins and my wife & I in a kind. Fantastic rooms, excellent service/staff, great breakfast and a location that is fabulous. I would stay here again and again if we come back to Florence.
What can I say? This hotel is beautiful...tucked down a little side street steps away from the duomo and all the action. Even though it is near the duomo and the liveliness of the square it is not noisy at all and you will not be disturbed of an evening when trying to get to sleep. The rooms are quite compact but all gorgeously decorated and have everything you need from a comfortable bed to a lovely shower...to be honest the room size didn't bother me but I know it would bother others and besides you shouldn't be sitting in your room thinking it's a bit on the small side when the heart of Florence is right outside your door!! The staff are all very friendly and helpful and proud of their city...showing you where all the main attractions are when you book in. The breakfast spread in the morning is a mixture of continental and hot and is a good variety and was included in the price which was brilliant. I would recommend this hotel because it is charming, gorgeous and most importantly Location, location, location!!!!!
I travelled with 4 daughters and the 5 of us shared the 2 bedroom family suite. The rooms were really lovely and the location is fantastic... right between the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio and just steps from the high street for shopping and eating. Because we had a suite we enjoyed breakfast in the private tower breakfast room where we could order pancakes, eggs, and so much more. The continental breakfast was also fabulous. I highly recommend this Hotel it was simply amazing.
This is one of the best places we ever stayed! I sincerely dont know why it is not a 5 star!!! We stayed for 5 days at the Brunelleschi Hotel and everything was top notch!!! Service impeccable! Everyone we asked for anything were always helpful and obliging! We were celebrating birthdays, so we were upgraded to a beautiful, very comfortable deluxe room- nicely laid out to fit us and our 12yr old son, with plenty of space!! Breakfast excellent, large selection, very good quality, always fresh! And plenty of fresh fruits, something yoy dont often see in hotels. Restaurant very good also and most nights full!! The reception and concierge excellent, professional and friendly always! Thank you all so much, for making this a fabulous memorable holiday for us and our son!! We will definetely be back and highly recommend for location, ambience, comfort, 5-star quality, and amazing staff!
We stayed at the Brunelleschi for several days in occasion of a very special family reunion. At our arrival, there was a problem with the originally reserved three-person room, as it smelled strongly of smoke, and we believed the hotel to be a non-smoking hotel. The front desk staff (Paulus and others) as well as the general manager, Claudio Catani immediately resolved this issue, and gave us a beautiful, much larger well-appointed suite, room 222, for the same price. Prior to our arrival, my sister had been in communication with the very capable and expert concierge team, Sergio and Raffaele, in order to reserve tickets for various venues. They were available to respond to every question and having such a concierge team, was a special bonus. Their excellent service, along with the organising of our visits, made this particular visit of Firenze truly pleasant, The location of the hotel is perfect, and as we were there during very torrid weather, arriving back to Piazza Sant'Elisabetta, felt like coming back to a perfect oasis. The well functioning air conditioning, and the newly renovated rooms made our stay feel quite luxurious. The included daily breakfast was also very nice, and the staff, attentive, as well as the housekeeping staff who truly were outstanding. We had a memorable experience, and will come back in the future.
