spent 2nights, very nice looking ONLY entry area. room is very old and very small / bath room tiny/ you can hear the conversation next room/ no body lotion no shampoo/ one liquid soap bottle attached in the shower tub. I won't stay this hotel never again.

The hotel was in a very good location. Free continental breakfast. Walk downtown is about 20 minutes. Many eateries within walking distance. Park across the street with bar, food and music. Nice hotel with free WiFi.

Clean and quiet room with a comfortable bed within walking distance to the main square. Lovely breakfast with plenty of variety. Restaurant at night or a snack bar for smaller meals from the fully stocked alcohol bar with tables inside and out. Friendly staff for a quick check in and out. All good however our room was so small we had no where to open our large suitcases which made it very inconvenient for our two night stay.

The room was okay but the paint was tired; the wall in the bathroom and shower needed painting and on top of that the shower was leaking onto the floor. Fortunately the beds were comfortable though. The service was average, waiting a long time to be served in the bar. Housekeeping was OK cleaning the room every day and making the beds. Overall a 5 for service. In the restaurant the pre-paid food was poor, overly seasoned. The breakfast yesterday was not fresh unpleasant this also made my dad's stomach feel uneasy.

This hotel, on the Arno River was pretty centrally located. It was a comfortable, businesslike hotel. It was spread out and walking far was necessary to reach our room. It had a comfortable restaurant and bar for gathering with friends.

Great location nice hotel but............. considering it's a four star hotel and in the city this hotel could be much better. The hotel itself is nice and in a great spot but Here Comes the but, from the entrance of the hotel when we first got there felt very uncomfortable with the staff seemed like we were annoying them and they did not like us too much for some reason don't know if it was American Tourist or others seemed like it was Americans but saying that we got through it and got into our rooms. Once there trying to get change for euros and also trying to get money from an ATM was impossible they did not have change of the euros that we had already and no ATM. How do you have a major hotel in the major city without change for people to make change or an ATM for them to get money especially tourist. The food in the hotel was just ok very Bland no taste and how do you put tomato sauce on mashed potatoes oh and by the way they were instant not fresh a lot of the food seem to be not made there and brought in or instant including the eggs and milk. Other than that the hotel was nice and the bar was okay rooms were clean and hotel was clean I just felt uncomfortable and felt like we were a bother to them. From trying to get shirts clean and laundered to getting change to getting money to getting any kind of major help it always seemed like it was a problem and basically would be told they could not help us. Very disappointing.

Very nice entry and feel to hotel with trendy decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. In nice location near water. Window lovely to open near attractions. Overall pleased with this hotel and our experience. Clean and tidy. Small bathrooms but nice energy management. Food good other than undercooked bacon and eggs. Florence was lovely and great access to things from this location.

This is the second time I've stayed here and will do so again. Very clean. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was huge. Wifi was efficient. Hotel is an easy walk to what you want to see in Florence. Highly recommend!

Stayed 2 nights as part of the 4 day tour. The hotel is larger than many with a conference facility. This meant that during our 1st night the organised buffet meal was very busy, noisy, and not a great experience. Breakfast was also a similar 'slightly mad' experience, with the quality of food choice just 'average'. I did not expect to use plastic cups for juice in a 4* hotel. Staff were friendly, so overall good. I read some comments about location. Well I guess it just depends on expectation. 10-15mins walk (1.3km) and you were in the Santa Croce, central area with tons of bars and restaurants to choose from. Yes it was a bit of a walk, but for 1-2 nights not an issue. Nice sized room, with everything you need, even if the mini-bar was almost room temperature. Wifi was slow and kept dropping out, making it almost un-usable. Must do better on the 21st C

This hotel is definitely 4 stars. Service was excellent. Breakfast was great: they had everything, from fruit and cold cuts to champagne! And, unlike at other hotels I stayed in in Italy, coffee was freshly brewed, not from the machine. The con was that this hotel is not close to attractions or restaurants. Also, there are no souvenir stores or supermarkets nearby. To get to Galleria Uffizi, you have to walk for a good 30 minutes along the Arno shore. It's a nice walk full of beautiful views, but not when you are hungry or tired. Another con is that the hotel is huge. We stayed in the South Wing, to get to which you have to first get on 1 elevator, then switch on the 1st floor to another elevator. Getting downstairs with the luggage was a hassle. If there is a cab waiting for you downstairs, make sure you allow extra time to get down. Elevators are small and don't fit too many people.
