The room wasn't clean and found roaches in the bathroom. The rug was filthy and looked like a crime scene. The pic's are from the 2nd room we moved to.

The hotel had a good smell (except 3rd floor balcony). The breakfast was good (some heated items), and the staff were friendly. The room looked clean. People were smoking on the sealed 3rd floor balcony. Some additional no-smoking signage/ventilation might help with the smell there. The hotel is completely smoke-free (all rooms are smoke free, and there is a charge for smoking in the rooms).

We were evacuating from BEAUFORT SC where Hurricane Matthew did tremendous damage. These people would not allow us to check in with our pets

The Days Inn was ok for a single night stop in the middle of a long trip. But I would not want to stay for much longer.

I booked this hotel for my husband and son driving home from PA to Florida. It was a place to stretch their legs, grab a bit locally and get a good nights sleep before hitting the road the next morning. I booked this hotel because it was right off the highway and it was a Day Inn (a brand that I trusted and grew up with). My husband arrive at the hotel to be first placed in room that felt stuffier than the Florida humidity. He called down and He asked if the Ac was working and complained about the stuffy dreary odor. They said give it a few minutes and it will kick in. After twenty minutes, it was worse. He called again and then they moved him to another room. This room did not smell much cleaner, but the AC was cooler. He said that the person that he spoke to about the first room seemed very indifferent about his happiness and it was not worth getting stressed about. My husband, a calm non-complainer, then calls me to say good night. But it was NOT over. . .At 1:30 in the morning - he finds two bugs in his bed - one spider and one roach and was totally disgusted! He spends the next thirty minutes shaking off the blankets and wiping down his bed. He then wakes my son and wipes down his bed as well. He finally fell back asleep and left at 7am the next morning extremely disappointed.

I would have given this motel 4 stars if it wasn't for the shoddy cleaning job. The first thing I noticed was my feet slipping on the bathroom floor! Thank goodness I had my shoes on. I looked down and there were footprints, not mine, on the floor. Seems the floor was mopped with grease! I exaggerate lol. Probably just dirty, grimy water. Placing towels I didn't need on the floor solved the problem, but still, gross!! Then there was the furniture; full of wet streaks that had dried. So furniture was wiped down with wet cloths and not a cleaner?? I would have rather seen old beat up furnishings and no cable tv than the uncleanliness; a big turn off for me. A plus would be the location. Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, PetSmart, Chipotle, etc, and a mall all within walking distance, so I got in a 4 mile walk I desperately needed after driving all day.

We reserved the room in advance. My 3 children and I walked into our assigned room to learn the room was already occupied. Front desk staff reported no other rooms were available. We had to leave and finish the rest of our travel without me being to take a break. The charge is STILL pending on my credit card. Unable to truly judge the hotel or comfort of the room due to not being able to stay.

Very convenient location. Right off 95, close to stores and restaurants. The room was clean except for a couple of pieces of hair on the bed sheet, making me question whether or not the bed linens had been changed. Fortunately I always travel with my own portable sheet. The front desk employee was pleasant and professional. I plan to stay at this hotel again.

I chose the Percy and Willies restaurant next door to eat at, we just walked over there and it was excellent.

Beds are tiny and extremely hard. Felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly.

A little aged, but clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was more than the usual cereal and bagels. Had eggs and sausage as well. Lots to choose from. Close to many great restaurants and shopping. Would come again.

The room smelled horrible Morning shift front desk was unfriendly Pet fee was ridiculous high Did I mention room stinked badd

The room with a king bed was relatively small and adequately clean but suitable for a one night visit only. There was a light just outside the only window that this room had and the curtain provided was unable to keep enough of this light out of the room. I woke up at 3 in the morning and thought it must be 7 or 8 o'clock because of the amount of light in the room. Also, I found it was necessary to keep something on my feet as the carpeting felt dirty beneath my bare feet. The breakfast offered was also just adequate. The eggs and breakfast sausage were not appetizing at all and I could not even eat the sausage patty served.

Mrs. Gina at the front desk is awesome when I checked in there was a huge line of people ahead of me and the phone was ringing off the hook... Even though some of the people ahead of me in line were very rude to Mrs Gina she kept and smile on her face kept apologizing to each and every customer in line for it taking so long to help each of us but for Mrs Gina being the only one there she was awesome I will stay there again and Mrs Gina if you get to see this room 319 who stayed there 3/4/16 to 3/6/16 think your awesome and you need a pay raise after that night!!!!!!!!

Hotel was clean, staff was extremely helpful. Would have liked a mini fridge in room.

It's an old hotel, Generation 1 is what I was told. It's been renovated and was ok. Just expected a better Marriott for the cost.

I only can say good things about this hotel, specially when you are traveling by car, great place to rest and keep driving next day. Congrats!

Lee at the front desk was great. We were on our way south and this was a perfect location to stay over. Close to every kind of eating estabishment. Hotel is older but completely redone Will book again!

The room door didn't fit properly big gap on the bottom side you could see the light coming in. The telephone would ring every minute so and when you answered it all you heard was static, called the front desk and they sent someone to check it, he had no idea what was wrong, so I unpluged and told to take it away. The breakfast was very good that's the only good thing, not a good value for the price.

We (Me, husband, 14 & 15 yrs old) spent one night at this hotel in a very cramped little room with 2 beds. The hotel feels more like a motel type than a Marriott. Staff was awesome, helpful and friendly. Room was clean and breakfast was great. Beds were terrible! We paid $89 but felt should have paid $39 instead. Even though it was for one night, we will not stay here again for the price. The hotel manager had to call the reservation company as they had given the hotel a declined credit card (it was over their limit) so they wouldn't charge me instead. So what could have been a 1 minute check out, ended being 30 minutes!
