Lived the pool and hot tub, and the breakfast!

Terrible customer service. My flight was delayed. We arrived at 130 am. It was raining hard from Hurricane Nicole. I got the hotel since it was across from airport. I tried calling repeatedly when I arrived to be picked up and no one answered. I finally had to walk to the hotel in hard rain at 130 am with my luggage. I got to the desk to check in rang the bell and the guy comes out. He says he was in bathroom. really for 20 mins. Then he says the shuttle doesnt run after midnight. Well if he had answered the phone I could have made some uber arrangement. Never even apologized. Said the shuttle guy just leaves sometimes and they dont always have one. Said they could not get help. Breakfast staff was lackadaisical sitting around part of the time when there were only crumbs of bacon in the holder. I do NOT recommend this hotel. Not sure how they have such good ratings. There are plenty of other choices very close by. Stay there.

I was in town for work & I wanted to get time in motorcycling so I chose this location since it's near the Blue Ridge Parkway. I had a couple questions about the place: 1. Where could I park my bike that would make it hard for thieves to get? 2. Would the hot-tub/spa-tub be usable (COVID concern)? I was able to park my motorcycle under the front overhang. I had it covered, chained up, and the alarm was set. Since this hotel is literally across the street from the Asheville Regional Airport, it's away from all the stereo-typical "hotel row" type parts of towns where local thieves can easily cruise by and see what's available. This hotel, being tucked away a bit and out of site, gave an extra layer of protection from prying eyes. The hot-tub: It was indeed operating and functioning. Both nights after work and riding the hotel shift manager allowed me to stay a bit past the pool closing time of 10pm (Thank you, Tracy!). It's not often that a hot-tub is actually hot and this one got up to temperature and stayed there. My back truly appreciated it. The room itself: It was your typical 3-star room. Everything was clean, no funky stains or odors. The wash cloths were not soft (typical budget variety) and I felt as though my face had been exfoliated with an SOS pad. The towels weren't as rough so my award-winning derriere wasn't damaged. If was I coming to Asheville again and on the motorcycle, I'd definitely consider returning here among the lodging & location options.

The two different Desk Clerks with which we interacted were very helpful and friendly. The day shift one gave us some great info as to what we might do on our one day stay in the area. (We followed her advice and had a beautiful day.) The lobby seemed well maintained. The elevator and third floor, our room floor, corridors appeared a bit “tired” and not well maintained. In the morning the “storage” room door just outside our room was left ajar and it looked like a dirty mess inside. Our room was clean and looked well maintained. Bathroom was sparkling and we were unafraid to use the tub. Towels were of good quality and adequate in number. The beds were comfortable with plenty of nice pillows. Overall, terrific value and convenience for a stopover at Asheville Regional Airport. I think you could change another $20 (fix up those corridors & elevator) and it would still be a good bargain.

Loved the mini store and the people! Limited parking due to construction and like with dumpster but i guess understandable.

Customer service was friendly, quick, and helpful. Facilities were nice and well-maintained. Room was clean and comfortable.

Close to I-26, cheap=o gas nearby, close to relatives' home. Quiet room, friendly staff. Delicious, full breakfast, no covid restrictions.
