The hotel was an excellent value - comfortable, clean, pleasant surroundings.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the entire property was clean and well maintained. The location was easy to find, and the hotel lobby well decorated. I especially loved the ancient Underwood typewriter which was sitting next to the computer in their small business center area of the lobby. This hotel is very pet friendly - our dog had a wonderful stay - although, I thought that the $25 pet fee was a little too much. However, there was lots of room in the parking area and forested areas around the hotel for him to roam around (on the leash, of course) and smell all of the wonderful smells.

All of the attendants were very nice and knowledgeable. Everything was very clean!

We were in Flat Rock after traveling through some gorgeous mountains with their Fall foliage when we stopped at this motel, where we had stayed once before on a trip through the mountains. It is clean, well run, and the rooms are large and nicely laid out.

Excellent service from staff, front desk very good and when we had a problem in the bathroom it was resolved in less than 15 minutes. Nice quiet hotel ,small and clean. Near the interstate and right in the middle of the NC apple growing area.

The room I had did not have a refrigerator or microwave,. there were no daily newspapers and it seemed to be run on a bare bones basis. I would not choose this motel again!

Totally love this place. VERY COMFORTABLE and wonderful place to rest after a stressful day on the road.

As always, I grade based on the category of hotel. This is a mid-range property. Not cheap, not expensive. I got a jacuzzi suite, which is one of their more expensive rooms. It wasn't really a suite, per se, it was more of a long skinny room. No real complaints about any of it, but nothing that would elevate my stay to a great review either. Their Fitness Room was out of order during my stay, which was a disappointment, but I didn't mark them down for it, since I understand that it had been trashed by some kids prior to my stay. The hotel's location is kind of out of the way, so don't plan of walking anyplace unless you have your track shoes on. It was very low occupancy and quite during my one day stay. Still, my stay was just fine.

We visit Biltmore House & Gardens. Will be better when you will put to the rooms microwaves and refrigerators.

The front desk could have been more professional. I reported bathroom sink almost stopped up and got no help. There was never anyone at the front desk and they were always in the office. The breakfasts were very good.

Our stay was great! one exception, there was no compact refrigerator or microwave in the room. This is the first time I ever stayed at any hotel and there wasn't a microwave or refrigerator in the room. Overall the stay was great. rooms were exceptional! Very comfortable! Quiet! I would recommend Mountain Inn to everyone! We will be back again!

9 mins away from barclarken conference center perfect

Great tip. Room was clean and ready upon arrival. Staff was friendly and responsive to all my request. Location had several retail stores within a ten minute drive.

No room refrigerators musty room, humidno TV menu .Breakfast was good.quiet room, comfortable, clean.

Nice clean hotel. Just one gripe the beds were hard and didn't allow for good sleep. other than that nice hotel.

The hotel was easy to get to, right off the highway. They welcomed us with our cat and dog, and even put us in a convenient room on the first floor right next to an exit (making for easy dog walking). Unfortunately the bed left a bit to be desired, we woke up incredibly sore the next morning (hard mattress and lumpy pillows).

Enjoyed being in a quiet out of the way hotel. Was able to check in early so we could spend the afternoon visiting sights around the area.

Room was clean, staff was very friendly & my wife says the air conditioner was very cold and the pillows were fluffy.

Overall, I was satisfied with our one night stay here. There was a foul odor in the main hallway and also in our room. We visited the biltmore estate which was a 30 minute drive from the hotel.

This was a wonderful motel. Great room and it was a perfect way to break up our annual trip out to the beach!
