Holiday Inn New York City - Wall Street

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

This hotel is located inside the business district of New York and many tourists attractions.

It was great. Rooms were very tiny but that's normal for New York.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn on Nassau for a week for business. The staff was so friendly & helpful from the front desk to housekeeping. The room was clean & the staff consistently asked & checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. I will definitely stay there again when I return to NYC!

Close to city center, easily accessible , room had a view of what appeared to be a daycare center. I mean inside a daycare center!!

I was in the city apartment hunting for an apartment in Brooklyn. The hotel prices downtown Brooklyn were very high. The location of this hotel to the subway stations and bank were great. The staff was so nice. I don't recall the woman's name on second shift but she was helpful in suggesting Staples to fax documents when the hotel's fax machine and copier wasn't working. My sister and I stayed for 4 nights and very much enjoyed our stay. We were only able to have drinks one night at the Bull Pen due to our schedule but we had a good experience when ordering at the bar.

I did a spontaneous trip to New York and couldn't have picked a better place. Close to alot of attractions and points of interest My room had a balcony which was a plus

This is a good hotel with a great location. The subway is very near to the hotel which makes it well connected to the times square location.

I'm pretty sure this was the cheapest (notable) hotel in the area. Very small, but I was in the Manhattan for business and hardly in my room. Bed seemed comfy, my only complaints were that there wasn't complimentary breakfast and that I was staying right across from housekeeping and the door woke me up everyday at 5:00 a.m. Staff seemed friendly.

Perfect place to crash for the night if you don't want to drive home late.

Great location if you are in the Financial District. Very accommodating staff. Very comfortable, not huge, pillows! Small, but that's NYC.

The room was smallish, but well-furnished and comfortable. It was in a great location near Wall Street and the World Trade Center and it was very easy to find transportation. The hotel's reciprocity agreement with a nearby parking garage made it stress-free for parking as well. The most positive part of our stay was the staff, who were not only resourceful, but very patient and very courteous to all of the guests with whom I saw them interact (including me). In short, this is a fantastic value hotel with kind/helpful service, reasonable rooms and and excellent location.

Pros: Overall the stay was good. Good location, great staffs. We planned our trip to use the metro to explore New York city, and this location was very convenient for metro, just 5 minutes walk. Felt safe during nights to walk back to the hotel. Variety of restaurants affordable nearby. Great attractions at walk able distance. Cons: Only concern was the room was very tight, less room to walk around, no place to put the ironing board to iron and few more. The coffee tray was placed on the window aisle due to lack of space and have to be always careful to walk past to the bed not wanting to trip the tray. Expected a pool. Also, the gym could have been placed in convenient floor and not in the basement which did not motivate me to use the gym more than a day.

Stayed here with a friend for a weekend in the city and thought the location was perfect for our needs. We were in town to see a couple shows and explore the city a bit, and the hotel was really close to the train lines, making it easy to quickly get wherever we needed to go. Close proximity to Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport, and Battery Park was perfect for leisurely walks in the mornings. The hotel itself and the rooms were very small, but I think that's to be expected in Manhattan. The lobby was just a small hallway and all the hallways to the rooms were really narrow. Bathroom was really small and cramped, but the bed was very comfortable. The hotel let us check our bags before we could check-in and after we checked-out so we didn't have to carry them around all day, which was very convenient. If you check your bags just allow extra time for someone to go get them, we had to wait longer than we were told it would take for the hotel to send someone down. Bottom line - it was clean and comfortable and conveniently located. I'd stay there again.

The hotel is perfect, it me only 30 minutes to get from the JFK by train. You can walk from the hotel to anywhere.

Good location for financial district, City Hall, Freedom Tower. Very close to Pace University

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It was also surprisingly quiet.

What a find! For the money, you don't get any better than this: clean room (yes small by US standards, but a comfortable king-sized bed, desk, clean bathroom -- what more do you need?), and the location is perfect -- 2 blocks from a multitude of subway lines. Staff was very friendly. A great bargain -- we will be back.

I can't say enough nice things about the staff. We got to our hotel at noon and decided to see if there was a chance we could drop off our luggage. We were given our room right away, and the staff was so helpful about helping us navigate the city. Our hotel was about two blocks away from where my husband had an interview, do the location was prefect. Our check out was a couple hours before we were leaving town, and we were able to check our bags in instead of carrying then around like we thought we would. It was also one of the most reasonably priced hotels I could find in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Quick and easy check in, clean but small room. Only a treadmill bike and elliptical but it was enough. Would have preferred if the hotel would have called us a cab when we asked. Otherwise a great place to stay if being near Wall Street is important to you.
