Extremely clean staff very friendly & helpful my best hotel

Great for business travelers -- rooms are comfortable, well-lighted, well-equipped, and very up-to-date.

Love lower Manhattan. Our room was spacious. We stepped back in time

Overall wasn't bad. I'm from the Boston area so I'm used to staying at hotels in Boston. The hotels we stay at in Boston are top of the line, so maybe I'm just a little spoiled. Our fridge in our room didn't work. The towels were huge and bathrobes were comfy. Bed was firm but had no problem sleeping! My boyfriend wasn't a fan of the lobby... There were a lot of fruit flies in the lobby for some reason, and he swallowed one, and they kept flying into his wine. Gross. Complimentary wine hour was nice. The staff was nice for the most part.

Clean, modern and large rooms in the FiDi. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Full of perks like free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks in the rooms, coffee and tea bar in the lobby and nightly wine and beer. 2 blocks from the subway and Stone Street (historic street with restaurants and bars).

This location totally exceeded expectations. NY hotels can be tricky: small rooms, not too clean. This was the opposite at extremely affordable rates for the City and beyond. Maybe not too rich in amenities, but staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Parking may give some troubles in weekdays, better be on a cab than a rental car. Metro connections are nearby. Probably one of my best stay in NYC and I had dozen of those.

Room was great, big enough to not feel like a hotel room but not huge. Great amenities.

I have stayed in several different hotels in New York City and the Andaz is definitely my favorite. This is my second visit to the hotel and both times I had an excellent experience. The rooms are spacious especially by New York standards. The room design is contemporary and well thought out. The bathroom and shower were superb. It was very clean and the staff was courteous and professional.

We love staying at the Andaz Wall Street. Best value in Manhattan! Beautiful big, modern room, perfectly comfortable. Financial District is easily accessible, especially if you are in the lower part of Manhattan anyhow.

I choose my hotel wisely going through multiple reviews on many different sites and my experience at the Andaz was amazing. Its not the cheapest but definitely not the most expensive. For the price I paid for the hotel it was well worth the money. -The hotel staff was amazing very attentive and helpful. -The room was clean -Free drinks and snacks(My room did not have snacks) in the minibar. They even offer free wine from 6-8pm. Free coffee, tea and cookies/muffins all day. -Free Wifi and HBO(some channels did not work nor did the TV guide) -Plenty towels and soap -Close to Wall street and the subway There wasn't much cons to bring down my review but there were some annoyances. -When taking a shower some of the water seem to escape the shower and into the hardwood floor causing the hardwood to warp and make sounds when you step on it. -The toilet paper holder was almost about to fall off exposing the screw -My room did not have snacks but plenty of free drinks. Not complaining Overall my stay at the Andaz was great and I would definitely go there again.

A little pricey but you know you can expect quality when you stay at an Andaz.

This hotel was amazing! The staff was great, and the room was spacious, modern, and clean! What I really loved about the hotel is the location. Manhattan can be full of noise, and it was so peaceful and quiet. GREAT VISIT!

Stayed at Andaz and was very satisfied. The front desk is a little informal, which was a bit odd, but still had good service. Asked if there was someway I could heat up food and they brought up a microwave for us to use.

Of all the hotels I've stayed in NYC this might be the best deal I've come across. Obviously rates vary, but for what this hotel must go for on average you are getting a such a great stay. The location is not the most exciting in the city but easily accessed by transit or cabs to get you anywhere. The rooms are a good size for NYC and very comfortable, modern and well appointed (especially appreciated the complimentary minibar). The staff at check-in was extremely polite and pleasant and the whole stay really went off without a hitch. I would love to stay here again - what a great place!

contemporary, very comfortable, great location. enjoyed it

The rooms are much larger than you expect in Manhattan.

I was there for only one night and it was perfect! The location is wonderful and the staff was super friendly!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. First Class Top Shelf

Hotel staff was friendly and attentive, let me check in 4 hours early when I was simply there in hopes to drop off my bags before running off to a conference. It was difficult to find because there is construction in the area and scaffold blocking their very discreet signage. If you've never been to Wall Street, it's a bit of a tangle- building #'s can't be found and then suddenly you're walking on a different street than you started out on. The average score for location is because of how much time you lose in transport if you have multiple engagements through the day, and for how barren Wall Street is at night. I felt safe, but there really isn't much going on over there, not as many restaurants as I would have liked within walking distance and minimal social opportunities. If it wasn't for the ample complimentary snacks and drinks, I probably would have dropped from exhaustion. I had to do a lot of back and forth from uptown and it was a little bit of a hike to get back to the hotel for a simple wardrobe change only to head back out 15 mins later (hence the 3 stars for location, but maybe that's why they give you all these free snacks?). The room was HUGE for what has been my "standard" NYC experience. Being tall, I loved it. Loft ceilings, and an entry like a runway. I didn't have a view from my room, but wasn't expecting one. Mood lighting, blackout curtains and a decent media player. The gap under the front door was a bit large, I ended up opening up the wall panel to block the light bleeding through (I like it pitch black when I sleep.) I didn't hear anything through the walls or ceiling. The bathroom was sleek and stylish, with various mirror options and very flattering lighting. More hooks in the bathroom would have been nice- there was only one and I had to feel up the black tile wall in hopes of finding a hook before I detected the tiny "nub" high on the wall, and it was so small it could barely hold one thing at a time. Water stayed hot for a shamefully indulgent shower, although I must admit, I was really craving a long soak in a bathtub. The only weird thing was that when the mini-bar was replenished, someone from the staff either placed something or sat on my bed and left a dent in the otherwise perfect bed. I took a picture with my cell because it was a little bit creepy and mentioned it to the overnight manager and they did not hesitate to come up in person with me and replace the comforter with a new one. They also stored my bags the entire next day without batting an eyelid, and I was able to borrow an umbrella even though I had technically checked out. They also offer cute cruiser bicycles with baskets on the front, which I did not use. I did not use the in house spa services, prices were high but standard for a metropolitan city.

We had an unbelievable time. The staff was great. The room was modern and had a whole lot of really cool features. I really appreciated the mini bar being complimentary and the shower/ tub was a great addition to the room. Over all it was a great experience and was REALLY affordable.
