I booked a private room and stayed here 5 nights. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked, and the shower water was actually hot. The windows closed all the way, AND I was especially happy to see screens so I didn't have a problem with mosquitos!! There are two pools, restaurant, etc. It does have wi-fi, but it is not included - 30 minute complimentary use per day though. I did pay for wi-fi and it worked in my room which was another plus. No spa, was hoping to use the services, and the tour services booth never had anyone in it. Planes do fly overhead a few times a day, but it didn't bother me. Overall, for a budget location I was very pleased. Only wished the ac wasn't so loud. Other than that, the staff were friendly, and I had a great time. I hope to be back in the very near future.
We were forced to go there after our Virgin flight was canceled on the 20th March 2018 Virgin put us up at this place at midnight after 9hours of mucking around due to a canceled flight the room was dirty , mouldy, the toilet was leaking , no bottled water no milk in the fridge. We were bitten by bed bugs through out the night . We only found out the next day at the airport talking to locals this place is known as a backpackers place and ladies of the night this was evident by other guests from Virgin placements who actually left at 3 am to find another place. I have been around and done it rough over the years this was terrible for my wife and I to finish off our tweenteth wedding aneaversery, Virgin has a lot to answer for putting us up at this place . The photos on the web site are nothing like what we saw when we were there yesterday, don’t do it.
very clean room we had 3 bedroom kitchennete private swimming pool soft beds and lots of utinsels to cook room service great a/c worked great all room and living room lots of water pressure hot and cold had its own washer and dryer
The wine was good, as was the food. That means you don't have to go out in the rain if you don't want to. The close proximity of the airport is handy for departures, but the planes land directly overhead and are a bit noisy
Better suited to backpackers and large groups. Breakfast and Dinner were great. Can be a little noisy when planes are taking off/landing due to close proximity to the airport. Pool and pool area are well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming.
Stayed for two nights for new years eve . Pretty big rooms and centrally located. Quiet place with not much noise and basic amenities provided. Restaurants 5 mins walk - daikoku , sitar , burger king , pizza and supermarket which is very good if no car. Everything is ok in room but suggesting to replace noisy olden ac units with new ones which are silent when on.
This is a backpakers hostel we did not know this when we booked. My friend stayed in it 7 yrs ago and she thought it was the same. We had 1 room with two single beds and toilet and shower outside the room. We stayed for 1 night only. My friend spoke to the manager and he could not do enough for us. We came back for 2 nights before leaving Fiji and we had a upgraded room lovely. With pool outside the door. Manager even came and checked up to see if everything was ok. Only problem was we never had any towels in the room so we had to go and ask for them. The problem was that they had 2 tour groups booked in different times and they could not keep up with the towels thouroughly understand.
The staff and people around the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well serviced . Dinner can be superb. The pool is clean and well maintained, plus being surrounded by mango trees is exceptionally cooler during the sunny season.
We stayed one night with our two teenagers and, while this isn't the world's flashest place, we think 2 Stars from other reviewers is too harsh. Staff were friendly, lunch and breakfast were fine, location is handy, pool was good, and the room was fine. Its possible other rooms may be different, and I wondered whether there weren't mites on the lunch cafe deck but my other 3 family members came through un-bitten (and they'd normally notice). People should take note too that tres chic resorts receive 5 Stars more frequently because wealthier people will not admit to wasting money (like on posh schooling), so its tough for 3 Star places to sneak any higher!
Great location in terms of proximity to the airport; very clean room although the flights taking off and landing over the building were a little bit of a surprise during the night after ten days out around the Yasawas!
