The wine was good, as was the food. That means you don't have to go out in the rain if you don't want to. The close proximity of the airport is handy for departures, but the planes land directly overhead and are a bit noisy
Better suited to backpackers and large groups. Breakfast and Dinner were great. Can be a little noisy when planes are taking off/landing due to close proximity to the airport. Pool and pool area are well maintained. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming.
Stayed for two nights for new years eve . Pretty big rooms and centrally located. Quiet place with not much noise and basic amenities provided. Restaurants 5 mins walk - daikoku , sitar , burger king , pizza and supermarket which is very good if no car. Everything is ok in room but suggesting to replace noisy olden ac units with new ones which are silent when on.
This is a backpakers hostel we did not know this when we booked. My friend stayed in it 7 yrs ago and she thought it was the same. We had 1 room with two single beds and toilet and shower outside the room. We stayed for 1 night only. My friend spoke to the manager and he could not do enough for us. We came back for 2 nights before leaving Fiji and we had a upgraded room lovely. With pool outside the door. Manager even came and checked up to see if everything was ok. Only problem was we never had any towels in the room so we had to go and ask for them. The problem was that they had 2 tour groups booked in different times and they could not keep up with the towels thouroughly understand.
The staff and people around the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are well serviced . Dinner can be superb. The pool is clean and well maintained, plus being surrounded by mango trees is exceptionally cooler during the sunny season.
We stayed one night with our two teenagers and, while this isn't the world's flashest place, we think 2 Stars from other reviewers is too harsh. Staff were friendly, lunch and breakfast were fine, location is handy, pool was good, and the room was fine. Its possible other rooms may be different, and I wondered whether there weren't mites on the lunch cafe deck but my other 3 family members came through un-bitten (and they'd normally notice). People should take note too that tres chic resorts receive 5 Stars more frequently because wealthier people will not admit to wasting money (like on posh schooling), so its tough for 3 Star places to sneak any higher!
Great location in terms of proximity to the airport; very clean room although the flights taking off and landing over the building were a little bit of a surprise during the night after ten days out around the Yasawas!
My family and I stayed here for 16 nights. When we first arrived I was very upset as the way the "resort" is described on the website isn't what it is. There is no games room, no boutique, 2 restaurants 1 of them only open until 3pm. The whole place is not well maintained a lot of things broken or out of order. Over the whole 16 nights we were there we ate at the restaurant one night the food wasn't great and the staff on that particular night were so rude. On the second night of our stay my partner was scolded in the shower as there was no cold water coming out of the tap. The staff apologised and fixed it immediately. The day spa is only open 4 out of 7 days. Breakfast was also a huge disappointment with 2 cereal options or toast with peanut butter or jam. I personally would never stay here again
Stayed here for one night after arrival & also night before departure. The staff were lovely & very friendly. Room was ok, clean & tidy. The pool was great. Close to main road for local buses & restaurants. Would stay here again.
The Website for Nadi Bay Resort Hotel presents as an upmarket Hotel when in fact is nothing other than a backpackers/Youth Hostel. We had booked a twin room with a shared bathroom and arrival were informed that we were being upgraded to room with its own facilities. This room did not match anything on the website being instead the size of a cubbyhole with 2 narrow single beds plus a tiny table with adjoining shower/toilet area. Room cleanliness is not a word that features in this hotels dictionary.
