We had a very positive experience with the hotel. The room was neatly arranged. However, we couldn't get the TV to work. The bathroom was small but adequate. The door was hard to open and close. For the price, things were good and we would put up with little things that didn't work. The breakfast was very good but they were running out of most of the food and we had two hours of serving time left. We liked the selection they had. Something to please even the fussy appetites.

Hotel has great continental breakfast and friendly staff. The pool was the coldest pool I had ever touched. No one could go in because it was ice cold. Took away our whole point in staying. Bathroom door could open not even half way as they replaced a curtain rod with a curved one and now the door wouldn't open. So the small bathroom was even smaller. The A/C unit worked great, you just needed ear plugs when it ran it was so loud. Probably will never stay again.

We have stayed a few times at this hotel and have thought it was a good place to stay.

This place is real good value for money. The rooms were neat. The amenities were okay for the price. The staff were helpful and it's in an excellent location. I'd surely stay here again next time I'm in Fargo.

We booked 2 rooms back in April 2014 for a trip in July. We arrived to check in around 5:30 and were told that the maids were running behind and our rooms were not cleaned yet. We asked how long the wait would be and were told that they were in the process of cleaning them and it could be 20 min or so. The front desk guy seemed genuine and gave us a card for a free appetizer at a neighboring restaurant while we waited. I asked him to call my cell when the rooms were ready. At 6:30 he called and told me the rooms were ready. When we arrived back at the hotel, two new people were behind the desk. The lady told us our rooms were "broken" and did not give any other explanation. She said that they had found another hotel for us to stay at and stressed that they were going to pay for the rooms. At this point we had less than an hour to get checked in and make it to a concert on time so we just headed to the new hotel. The hotel they sent us to advertises as being "low cost alternative lodging" - not even close to a regular hotel/motel. The staff told us that the Quality Inn just called and said they overbooked the hotel and gave our rooms away. The only thing that saved the experience was that it was clean and the staff was friendly, but it did not have any amenities or updates. I understand that hotels have issues and sometimes overbook people but we did not appreciate being lied to or having rooms we booked 3 months ago given away. It would have been much better if they would have just told us they overbooked from the beginning instead of leading us on and making it sound like we had 2 rooms that both "broke"...

Good location, close to the main areas of Fargo, clean rooms and friendly staff.

Nothing extraordinary, but clean and comfortable enough

The staff was unkempt. The sheets were stained. The online description of the room was inaccurate. The hallways smelled like cigarettes and the room smelled like someone desperately trying to cover up the smell of cigarettes. The pillows varied in softness which was convenient. Worst quality inn I've ever stayed in.

The rooms are not maintained, not clean, not stocked with the basic requirements. The staff did not know what was going on. The front desk staff couldn't get simple things correct without many attempts. they did not know how online booking, payments, or operational aspects of the hotel worked. They could not answer questions. The entire experience was that of a shabby, dingy, hovel. Do NOT stay there under any circumstance other that the absolute LAST resort

When we arrived there was a lot of snow on the sidewalk. My wife had a full hip replacement the 22nd of Feb and I had to help her get through about 6 inches of snow to get to the front door. When we told the person at the front desk, he said he would make sure it was taken care of. The next morning when we left the snow still had not been shoveled. I grabbed a shovel out of the entryway and shoveled it myself so my wife could safely get to the car. If they don't care enough to keep their sidewalks safe, it makes me wonder what IS important to them.

Was in town for business and needed a room for 3 nights. Room was clean, bed very comfortable. Staff was very curtious and helpful. Free breakfast was your standard options with biscuits and gravy. Will defiantly stay again......

My son was doing a college visit at NDSU and we were looking for a cheap hotel room. Normally, cheap would infer that it would be dirty or rundown. This hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good and it was NOT expensive. It was also less than 10 minutes from the campus. If my son ends up going to this college, I will definitely book a room here again to visit.

Hotel was good, quiet, good breakfast, but pool was too cold for the kids to play in and hot tub was barely warm. Hallways were dirty but room was clean. Had a good time. Staff were friendly.

When I booked this reservation with our national booking agent for my husband I was worried about the quality of the hotel for the price. We were plesantly surprised to find that the rooms were clean, in a decent part of town and had easy access to our daughter's house. The property is older but seemed well maintained. The breakfast held a lot of variety of foods. While this is not a luxury hotel, it is a good place to stay. We would definately stay here again.

The staff at the motel was very helpful. The room was comfortable.

the service is great at this motel.the pool is a bit small for the size of the motel.a great place to sat .really close to west acres and eating areas

If you are like me and like to travel then you look forward to all aspects of the trip. One of the best things at the end of a day of travelling and shopping is returning to a nice, comforting hotel room. Ironically this was not the case at the Comfort Inn. When we first entered our room we noticed the rug had not been vacuumed and there were crumbs all over the floor. The next event was the bathroom. If you like broom closets...this hotel is for you. Thirdly we had a room on the main floor. Several times a night we were woken up by children running or jumping at odd hours. Finally, after using the hot tub, I nearly got sick there was so much clorine added to the water. I usually never complain about hotels, but if you are looking for good value and comfort for your money, I would avoid the Comfort Inn.
