Super 8 Blue Earth2.0 out of 5.0

Low budget hotel in every way except price. Needs updating. There was a lot of people noise in the hall and outside our window. That being said, our room was clean enough, everything (TV, AC, WiFi, refrigerator, etc.) worked and we were happy to find a room in a convenient location when we were ready to stop driving for the night. Seeing the Green Giant statue was a fun bonus! When I asked at the front desk for shampoo, the clerk immediately provided it.
We stopped here at the end of a 2 week vacation. Everything was good. A nice basic place to stay. The price was right as well.
Nice hotel in blue earth mn. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. Ideally located in a beautiful part of the state. If you are traveling through this area, I recommend this hotel.
Bathroom was immaculate, room was satisfactory although bed had dips in them which killed my back. Breakfast was typical cereal, bread for toast, waffle maker, coffee and juices. Little high for a Super 8 but at least was clean.
The breakfast room was terrible. Not much selection and lots of flies. Samir was very helpful at check-in and with checking in for my flight.
I have been here for a construction job stayed in many of the rooms I love the king room 214 the best thx
We stayed here as an overnight on a cross country trip between Badlands, SD, and Chicago. We wanted to stay in Albert Lea, but all the hotels there were booked. This was the cheapest option available in towns nearby. - The motel is well worn. It could really use an update. Carpets seemed dirty, room had a musty smell. Bed was uncomfortable. + The staff were friendly and responsive. You can see the Jolly Green Giant from the parking lot. / Breakfast included waffles, cereal, yogurt, breads, juice--all very standard/edible, but nothing delicious, and no fresh fruit.
Room was average, and what to be expected of a hotel like this in a rural area. But, the refrigerator was apparently plugged into a 'switchable' socket, hence off most of the time and thus not cold. The most disappointing aspect of the stay was the complementary breakfast. The selection was very slim, with only 2 tables to sit at. The slim selection was even slimmer at 8am the day I left - perhaps the most underwhelming 'complimentary' breakfast setup I've ever seen.
All was well - room was ok but could use new bedding. staff was friendly. A bit run down compared to years ago but not bad. Location is great for what we needed and nice to have Country Kitchen next door.
Nice room but our room was on second floor and the train, which ran almost every 2 hours, actually vibrated our bed and the walls vibrated. Woke us both up every two hours.
