Clean, quiet, and comfortable! The pool area is great and the hot tub was fantastic after a long day of driving. The front desk staff are wonderful and The Green Mill Restaurant that is attached is not only convenient but also has great food and a nice hotel bar.

Checked in to this hotel tired, or I would've never stayed. On entering the hallways, all you could smell was a mix of chlorine and mold.Upon entering the room, it went downhill. There were no exterior windows, a/c was less than appropriate. Upon opening patio drapes (don't know why it had a patio window on 2nd floor) to get some light, we looked directly at a wall. The bathtub was so dirty, I decided to pass on a shower, which really made me grumpy. The carpets were vintage 1970's, but the room was so dark, you couldn't see if they were dirty or not(leave your socks on!) . There was absolutely no air movement or natural light at all. Was refunded 50.00 upon leaving, even at 90.00 it was Way too much Not the Holiday Inn experience that I'm accustomed to.

Overall I thought the hotel was acceptable, the front desk person who checked me in was fantastic. I spent 2 nights in this hotel, I travel for my job. When I packed up the stuff from my refrigerator this morning, I discovered some of the food I had packed for my lunches was missing. Normally, I would have put up a do not disturb sign so housekeeping stayed out, but one wasn't available in my room and I was running behind that morning. I am a loyal Holiday Inn Costumer, but I won't be staying at this Holiday Inn again!

The facility is worn and ready to be retired! The carpet in my room was damp, and the air thick with a musty smell. Inspecting further, I noticed mildew along the floor boards by the bathroom and dusty cobwebs between the curtains and the window. The desk associates were kind enough to switch rooms; however the new room was not an improvement. On the positive side, the walleye at the The Green Mill was good but all else was stale, tasteless, cold, and smelled of asphalt and cigarettes due to customers smoking within the outdoor seating area, and freshly applied pavement adjacent to it.

I thought I could depend upon a good room at Holiday Inn. Not so. The room smelled very musty and was damp. Another person in my party got sick from too much mildew in their room. I would not recommend.

The title says it all, it is a place to sleep. Deeply disappointed in our stay. Arrived late on Friday (10pm) and entered in behind a drunk and stumbling guest. The lobby loud from an evening happy hour from 9-11pm (who does a happy hour this late?). Paper thin doors never a good combination with such noise. The room they put us in (115?) stunk like a combination of mildew, skunk, and vomit. After complaining to desk, moved us up to 255. Air conditioning pretty weak. All in all, would not stay here again. Middle of nowhere choice, but there are other options.

We spent two nights here in poolside rooms. The motel could use some updating. Poolside rooms are very dark. Service was great. The restaurant also is very good with a varied menu. A little spendy for rural America.

Although this hotel was older, they are doing a great job of keeping it up and the friendly staff can't be beat. We stayed here two nights on a Tuesday and Sat. as we were passing through Fairmont. The location is great, right by the main highway, but back enough so there isn't noise. There is a restaurant and bar onsite. The desk ladies were very friendly and nice. The part I enjoyed the most was the one level and multiple entrances. No stairs or elevators to deal with. The holidome type middle was great too with a swimming pool, kiddy pool, hot tub, and pool table. I wish it wasn't so expensive, but all the hotels in Fairmont seem to be like that.

Room and staff were satisfactory, and the attached restaurant was convenient. Only stayed for 1 night, as we were simply passing through, but I would choose this location again if I was to return to the area.

Stayed here for two nights. Large room was very clean, fridge, microwave, Keurig. Lots of towels, nice bathroom. Has its own restaurant, and close to many others. Right off the main road. Would stay here again.
