Amazing check in staff , made me feel like I was old friend
It looked clean in our room but the bathtub clogged up while the shower was on and then we were infested with ants ! Literally ants EVERYWHERE by morning. We had to throw a bunch of stuff in the bathtub and leave immediately because it was so bad!!
There was a water main break in the area that left us with no water for the morning and dirty water most of the day. There was NO communication from the staff regarding this. No flyers under the door, sign in the lobby, info on the apps. I was looking info up on the local city website and sharing with staff. If asked they provided bottle water. They did not share issue with people checking in. They were clueless. Hotel needs an overhaul on customer safety and what to do an emergency!!

This is a typical Hampton Inn. However, they will not permit local residents to stay at this facility. Conditions in my home necessitated a stay at a hotel. Fortunately, we found a place local that had no issues with us being local. This we learned only as we were checking in.

I reserved 2 rooms. It would have been nice if they adjoined instead of being on 2 different floors.
Arrived at the hotel at 11:50 pm. The only staff person on duty was a trainee - her supervisor didn't show up at the beginning of her shift. She was unable to log onto the registers to do any functions - couldn't look up our reservation, couldn't program keys for a room, couldn't even match our reservation to the keys already programmed. She called her manager, who didn't pick up. Tech support said she hadn't been authorized for any front-desk operations and they couldn't help. At 12:30, as I was preparing to leave and find another hotel, her supervisor showed up and gave us a courtesy "I apologize for the inconvenience" but acted like it was the trainee's fault. I commend the trainee (Zoey) for trying her best to resolve the situation. In the morning, the assistant manager, Gwen, who didn't know anything about the incident, apologized and offered a $25 gift certificate to a national restaurant, which we accepted although I would have expected them to comp the stay. Of all the times we have stayed at an IHG facility, this is one of the few problems we have experienced and the most disappointing.
I love this place it was clean and loved the pools
It was very quiet, clean and the breakfast each day was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
