Mirror had spit on it from previous guest. Staff weren't super friendly or unfriendly either, just seemed like none of them wanted to be there. There was a barbed wire fence outside my window... If I would have known more about the location I wouldn't have booked a room here.

great hotel, everything we required for our stay.would stay there again.

it not great. floors in the room are sticky. Rest rooms are not clean. Room smelled weird.

Hotel could be cleaner. Don't think housekeeping stopped in my room once. Employees were nice price was good.

Kind of run down and dirty. stains on bed cover, walls marked, outside run down, etc.

Stayed at the Extended Stay of America for 1 week in early March while attending a conference at UAF. Close to bus stops for several lines. Next door to Walgreens and Fred Meyer, so kitchenette came in handy for easy meals. General condition of facilities was ok. Room condition could be better. Bed was too soft. Some furniture showed wear and did not look very clean. Heat regulation was difficult and room was often too warm with no easy way to ventilate it due to window locks. Kitchenette pots and pans needed proper cleaning. Mostly quiet but not great sound insulation from the hall.

I arrived in the middle of the night so I got lost since my phone nav didn't work, but it's actually really easy to get to, as long as you have an idea where you're going. It's literally the start of fairbanks from the airport. The staff was wonderful. I woke up to a hot room and broken thermostat, and the woman down stairs had it fixed immediately. I loved the mini kitchen, made it easy to save money, the beds are comfy. I went to visit a friend whos on base, only a 10min drive straight down old airport way. Many military families stayed there as well. Great location, with a walgreens and fred meyer literally across the parking lot. My only downfall was I packed a bunch of blueray dvds but it's a regular player. Other than that I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Hotel location was good, and convenient to use MACS-public bus system. I only accessed to UAF, so I did not need rental car, which required parking fee at UAF. However, the hotel did not pickup services between hotel and airport.

Hotel was very nice and clean, its located very near to airport. We definitely recommend staying here.

Hotel was average in most areas. Room was ok and had nice amenities but had some cleanliness issues. Front desk staff was often away from the desk and did not answer phones on more than one occasion during my trip.

Extended Stay Fairbanks is overall an acceptable hotel. We stay there almost every month for business purposes. Bethany is GREAT...always goes the extra mile to help! We did have one issue at this most recent stay. I had a conference to attend at another location in Fairbanks and woke up to no hot water. This is very inconvenient and should not be a problem at any hotel that charges tourist rates. A word of advice to upper management...spend the money to get the hot water issue fixed.

Never staying here again. Left middle of the night because I got bit by bed bugs.

Extended Stay Fairbanks is located close to the airport, Fred Meyer, and Wal-greens, and has super friendly staff. You have to ask for any extras for the room like pots and pans and dishes. The rooms are clean and comfortable. For the price, it's worth it. And you can bring your pets for a reasonable fee.

One staff member on duty on a very busy weekend in Fairbanks. Our room was dirty (windows to mattress pad to hallway trash). This is a pet-friendly hotel, which I was unaware of until the dog next door started barking because we walked by to our room. Due to pet allergies and cleanliness expectations not met, I asked for a refund within half an hour of our check in. The front desk clerk was very accommodating and much appreciated for her hospitality as we checked in and with my request for a refund.

Hotel was well kept and clean. Cost was less than many but turned out to be a great value. Breakfast is coffee and light snacks so don't expect a hot meal!

Very convenient, clean, and comfortable. Would stay there again

This should be your 2nd choice hotel. Rooms decent. Amenities misleading. If you're planning free hotel shuttle. Call to confirm they'll pick you up . I arrived at 10:30 pm and had to take a cab (which after insisting) they reimbursed. The continental was really a bird feeding event. Very poor. Pool is also bird size but kid will have fun. No hot pool although listed in pool picture. Again, this is a 2nd choice hotel for what you pay.

Good location near the airport and the university, also allows pets. But the toilet was clogged when I got there and I stopped by the desk the next morning and asked them to plunge and clean the toilet. Checked out 48 hours later and it still hadn't been cleaned. Continental breakfast consisted of oatmeal packets and coffee. If nothing else is more important than location and price, this is your place.

I have stayed at this hotel three times now because there are few hotels that allow pets and unfortunately I am here for work and have no place to keep my dog. I am a very clean person and this hotel is grossly dirty! My first stay I stayed for three weeks plus and after calling and asking 5 different times throughout my stay if somebody could please clean my room and leave me some clean towels they did it once. They won't clean your room unless you ask and even then they will tell you they will get to it then they forget. The staff is very unprofessional and very unhelpful. Breakfast is muffins and room temperature milk. The location is across from a strip club in a shady part of town. They are cheaper on there price then most in town but now I know why. Well worth spending a few extra dollars and stick with a 3 or 4 star in this town.

Nice place, staff needs to clean the rooms more often.

We were disappointed to read that we did not live up to our typical standards, and we are truly sorry your stay was anything less than exceptional. We hope you will consider giving us another chance to prove we are up to the task of delivering excellent service and stay. I hope you will return so we can make it up to you. Sincerely, General Manager
