The food was good, the staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean. The only thing was, the Al a carte restaurant was closed, and we had to eat in the buffet room which was noisy due to the amount of children up late, tired and crying. Not the quiet meal we expected... But the bar food was very good, the coffees and snacks too. Love Portugal. Love Evora.
This was stay #4 during our fly-and-drive through Portugal. Large hotel with many facilities. On arrival a lot of noise in the lobby due to a childrens (birthday ?)party. This did not match with the rest we were seeking, luckely the fuzz went over quickly. Enormous lobby annex bar. Not to inviting to my taste. Great garden with two outside swimming pools (1 for smaller children) and a nice terrace overlooking the place. An inside swimming pool is also present. The room was nice, except for the bathroom, were the silicon rims between the bathtub and the tiling were black and looking very untidy. Probably because of fungus or mould. And at night, we could hear mice running around in the false wall between our room and the one next door... The hotel has a big parking lot with quite a few spaces with sun protection. Located at about 2 km from the historic city centre it is recommended to hire a taxicab since parking facilities in or around it are very limited, especially since we were there during the 'sao joão' festival. Then 3 parking areas are occupied therefore. Taxi is cheap, around 7 euros one way. Évora itself is a very nice town with rather a few interesting places to visit. Worth a detour.
I attended with a big group of friends and was really impressed by the quality, hygiene and general up keep of the hotel. The food was wonderful and the staff courteous. I would recommend it and would definitely stay again. Thank you, TH
This hotel offers spacious rooms, which need some refurbishment. Some parts of the hotel seem to have already been remodeled. The facilities are fine, the breakfast was reasonable, but does not offer a wide variety of choices. The location is quiet, yet quite a bit outside the center, where one can find comparable or even better hotels.in the room we had, the air conditioning was not functioning very well.
Close to the center, good facilities, especially the outdoor pool, nice breakfast, clean rooms but it seems that its about time to renovate the rooms and the air condition Feet to families Big parking place
Very spacious, calm hotel, with good areas around the outdoor pool: big indoor pool, clean and with an area for kids. Five km from downtown. Rooms are clean and big enough; TV channels poor. The staff was kind and friendly.
We stopped over on our way down South and it served its purpose. Clean, functional. Great pool. Great little wine shop which we used for stocking up our rental house for next week :-). We didn't eat there except for breakfast. We took a cab into town to have a rest from driving and it was only about 5€. There was one very infuriating breakfast incident however. There was only one really slow small toaster (the kind you use at home for just 2 small slices) for the whole hotel. So forget toast for breakfast. :-(
Exactly as described. Nice hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. Hot and cold selections. Free wifi and free parking. Great staff. I would recommend!
The hotel isn't bad, but also isn't that good. The location also is a bit outside Évora, but isn't a problem if you have a car. The service is okay, but the pool area could have some improvements, although the pool itself is nice.
Superb location. Our room looked towards the old town over the swimming pool and tennis courts. At night it was magical. The hotel facilities were excellent, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bar and restaurant were relaxing and the food was very tasty and authentic. All in all excellent value for money and we will definitely visit again.
