Very comfortable and convenient location. Pool crystal clear and just felt like home away from home

Convenient quiet very nice I would stay again . Very nice staff.

This hotel was really unique, would definitely go back if in the area, It was a real pleasant place to stay. Very quiet streets so not on a freeway, slept so good.

Nice pool .Excellent Best hotel.Incredible .I will recommend

Hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Should have been torn down or remodeled 20 years ago. pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

This was sort of like a condo rental in that the office is only open daytime. But it didn't matter. The room maintenance and clealiness was first rate. The staff we hugely helpful and happy. We started with one day and extended it to two and we will be including it again in the future for a longer stay. There is a shell beach a mile away that we have never seen anywhere before. We even found an unblemished sand dollar for the first time ever because we don't know how to find them.

Very clean spacious room. The hotel is hidden out of the way but a great value

nice clean hotel for the price, just a little old.

We had a unit that we couldn't open the windows,we woke up very early...the room is not dark...we couldn't even warm a pizza in the kitchen because it didn't have all the stuff that we needed..

The beaches were not within walking distance. The beach at the hotel on the lake was very small and uninviting. The $8 parking fee at the public beaches was unreasonable for any short term parking.

oVER NIGHT STAY TO VISIT FRIENDS. NICE RESTARAUNT ON PREMISE

The hotel was ,clean, friendly. We enjoy to relaxing outside next to the Lake.

Imagine a classic motel from the 1960's. Visualize it updated with new carpet and tile, scrubbed spotlessly clean, painted in shades of cream, and decor from Pottery Barn. Next, add a fantastic pillow top mattress with the softest bed sheets ever, and you have this motel. The Lakeside Inn is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood. We didn't hear a sound from other guests or traffic the entire holiday weekend. Very peaceful. If there is a downside to this hotel, it is that it isn't located on the beach. However, the beach is just a short three minute drive away. Plus, the room has a well equipped kitchenette (complete with frig, stove, oven and micro) so we were able to save a ton of money by packing a picnic for the beach and making our own simple meals. Generally speaking, Marco Island is a beautiful but very expensive location. However, Lakeside Inn made our stay both enjoyable AND affordable. We will definitely return!

Nice small, clean place. Very relaxing and quiet, just what we wanted! Out of the way in a "mixed" neighborhood.

Low maintenance place. Very clean and friendly staff. Great for families. Great value for the price.

quaint, quiet, clean and efficient. attended a destination wedding and wedding hotel was sold out. this was a great affordable alternative to being on site. good location, quiet and clean. didn't use amenities.

I was on a business trip so I didn't have time to enjoy all of the amenities offered by the facility. I would have liked to have dined at the Inn's restaurant -- I'd heard some good words about it. The rooms were very quiet -- which is what business travelers seek. I also was pleasantly surprised at the ease in connecting to the internet. I didn't need passwords and all the other things some hotels require. I really liked the price as compared to other Marco Island hotels. Lakeside Inn provided much better value for the price. I arrived somewhat late in the evening, but a staff member took the time to help me with the check-in process. She was very helpful. I will definitely return.

These were last minute reservations and what a surprise. The rooms were beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The pool was just steps away with little gazebo where you could just relax and enjoy the awesome Florida weather. We truly enjoyed our stay and will stay here again.

I am sorry you did not like the inn. It is not an oceanfront resort but it is not in the middle of nowhere. The island is only 4 x 5 miles and we are only 1/4 mile from the main shopping area- Marco Town Center- in a quiet residential area. In the past few years we have replaced all the beds, painted all the rooms. added black-out drapes, re-tiled and re-carpeted all the rooms among other improvements. You obviously had different expectations but our photos are on Expedia's website and the roomns are exactly as shown.
